Kendall looked at the two. They both seemed frightened by her sudden appearance. She had already detached her angelic-looking wings and her eyes were glowing white.
"Oh, I had forgotten to tell you. She can predict her opponent's next moves like ten minutes ahead," Alex told Scarlet as they both glared at their opponent.
"How can you forget that?!"
"Don't worry, she can't use that gift of hers in that form," Alex added with a devious smile on her face.
"Wrong choice, sweetheart," Kendall finally said something, trying to debunk Alex's statement.
She then charged at both of them at light speed thanks to her wings. She pushed Alex away with unimaginable strength, tossing her to the very end of the train like she was a piece of paper.
She then grabbed Scarlet's arm by force and pulled her in her direction,
"Let me go you….you." she struggled to try to pull herself from Kendall's gorilla grip, but it was useless. she wasn't making any progress.
"Master Hayward commanded me to keep an eye on you. Meaning, if anyone gets in my way I must destroy them," Kendall told her, and she didn't sound anything close to joking.
She sounded so serious that Scarlet couldn't believe that she was looking at the same girl who looked so cheerful and innocent, waving at her in the morning today. Had she gone rouge or was being mind-controlled by Mr. Hayward? She wasn't sure, but she had to be stopped before things got out of hand.
Alex suddenly stood from the wreckage and conjured a bow made of fire from mid-air,
"Hey Kendall!" she called, and directly aimed her first flaming arrow at the winged girl.
"Let's try that again," she continued, sounding determined.
Kendall shifted her attention to Alex who seemed like she was trying to provoke her into fighting her.
"I see you want to piss me off half-human," Kendall hissed, letting go of Scarlet's hand and throwing her down like she meant nothing anymore.
She then charged at Alex with more speed.
Alex also started firing flaming arrows at the nightmare, but Kendall was too fast, she dodged every single arrow since Kendall was a strength type it was difficult to get a hold of her since she had speed and strength by her side.
Alex cursed after realizing that none of her arrows landed."Shit! I need Jack, he is the only one strong enough to win this fight.'
She thought while glaring at Kendall who was waiting for the next round,
'But I can at least try to.'
Kendall yawned and attacked Alex with a punch in her right hand. But Alex turned off the flaming weapon and used the closing distance between them to swing a kick at Kendall that landed on the left side of her face, almost shattering her jaw bone with her moment of brutal strength.
Alex knew she couldn't do so much hand-to-hand combat, but her dad taught her some fighting that involved her increasing her strength by focusing magical energy on a single body part and physically making her stronger. In this case, the kick was strong enough to knock out Kendall.
which it did because Kendall was thrown to the left side of the drain and immediately lost consciousness.
She then ran towards Scarlet, who was on the other side,
"We need to get off this train, fast," Alex mentioned, breathing heavily as if she had just run a race.
"Can you teleport the both of us?" Scarlet asked,
"No, all my magical energy was drained on the offensive fire spell."
"Okay then. I will do it."
Scarlet sounded very confident. She had a sharp and serious glare in her eyes that made it feel like she was a completely different person.
"Wait, do what? As in the spell for jumping. If you don't succeed Scarlet, we will all die or get lost in some other alternate universe." Alex was trying to put some sense into Scarlet's decision to jump,
"Alex it's been a strange day for me. I am having these memories of places I have never been to like right now I feel like I need to see your father I feel like he knows me and with that I know I can do a jump from here to where ever your place is."
Alex sighed after realizing she couldn't change her friend's mind. Scarlet had made a choice and her father seemed to have the answers to what was happening to her,
"Okay then, grab my hand so we mind touch."
"Ewww, gross...."Scarlet cringed with sarcasm, "I don't want to share gross moments with you."
"That's the only way we can get to the mansion before she wakes up and predicts our destination." Alex pointed at Kendall who was now slowly trying to move as she recovered.
Scarlet agreed since she had no choice, she then closed her eyes and concentrated. Alex did her magic, and they both got suddenly pulled by a force that directly took them to a corridor within the Kay mansion,
"We did it..." Scarlet celebrated softly before suddenly collapsing to the floor with Alex.
Leon and Jack ran up sensing the two. They were both unconscious and Alex was so pale you could think she was dead.
"Call Lambert, tell him we need medical attention," Leon ordered Jack
Leon carried the both of them in his arms and ran to Alex's bedroom.

Scarlet was now unconscious, but her mind was somewhere else, she was in a forest this time. But It was dying slowly, with trees baring dried-up leaves and the ground resembled more ash than soil.
Threatening thunder claps following the terrifying lightning that was hitting the ground at points. It was so windy and the wind kept on blowing her hair over her face but she didn't feel cold because the air was so dry
"Hello!" she shouted, "Is anyone here?!"
At a distance, she noticed a boy seated on a tree log next to a woman dressed in red with red hair that resembled hers.
Scarlet ran towards them, but the wind picked up speed along with dust to blur her vision. She pulled up the hood on her jumper and walked through the strong wind till she reached the log where the boy was, but the woman had disappeared.
The boy looked sad and had been crying by the look in his red shimmering eyes. He had both his hands gripped around a brown-covered book.
"I'm tired Scarlet, I am so tired..." he said, "my friends are all dead. I deserve death too."
Scarlet felt bad for him. he was just a kid and has already seen death happen right before his eyes,
"What is this place?" she was curious,
"It's called the void only chaos lords can use it." he answered, "this is where my friends and I used to meet. It didn't look like this before which means they are dead."
She recalled the kids in the cave from earlier, they had to be them.
"Was it Tal-",
"Don't you dare say that name." he was suddenly enraged on hearing that. "What are you even doing here? It is for only chaos lords."
"I think am one. Well becoming one. Am looking for Argus."
"You're looking for me." he was shocked."Why?"
"Am not sure why, but every atom in my body asked me to find you."
Argus then glanced at her as if he had just realized something, "She said I am not alone in this fight."
"Who? was it the woman in red."
Argus ignored her question and picked up a branch and started to draw a charm within the sand,
"We need to destroy this plain," he said, "Talon will find out that am alive if we let it exist."
He threw away the branch once he was done, then the entire place began to burn down.
"Wait. Where will I find you?"
"We are connected I will find you," he said
And with that, she suddenly opened her eyes with a start. Her aunt was next to her.
"Oh, thank goodness," Miranda was relieved on seeing her awake.
"When they told me something bad had happened I thought you were in an accident, but you had just exhausted your magical energy."
It seemed that they had chosen to keep her aunt out of this for her sake. They had dyed her hair to brown and given her contact lenses to hide the red eyes.
Lambert then walked in holding a tray with cups of tea that Miranda carried out of his hands.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome Miss Miranda," he said, "and Miss...Master Leon requests for a ten minute meeting with you in the afternoon if you are free of course."
"Tell him I will be there." Lambert then partially bowed and marched out of the room without saying more

Argus finally opened his eyes, he had recovered completely so he had no reason to stay in a hospital, and not to mention he had to find Scarlet if he were to save this world and have his revenge. there was no time to waste.
He then closed his eyes and scanned for any threat using the lanes to do so. He sensed an elf that was moving to the hospital with the intent to kill,
"Oh no, am not strong enough." he panicked and jumped off the hospital bed, he locked the door and then began picking up his belongings quickly. he created a portal and then tossed everything through it including himself closing the portal in an instant.

Talon was in his office holding a pressure ball. He couldn't stop thinking of that girl he had tried to kill, her red hair and eyes her skin, and her incredible beautiful power.
"So much power yet so beautiful, when I kill her I want to keep her eyes," he said to himself.
A soldier walked in with papers in his hands, "These are the reports you asked for on an alternate world. After this one."
"Thank you," he said as they handed them to him,
"Tell the master that I have discovered something. A new catch." he opened the file,
"Okay, sir." said the soldier who then marched out of the room.
A smile covered his face as he looked at the pictures of the other worlds, "Am coming darling anytime soon."
