I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead.
Everything is all black, is this how death is? I didn't know people were still able to think even when they were dead. It was quite intriguing, but it scares me.
The fact that I will be stuck here for all eternity scares me. Isn't this a bit too cruel, God?
"B-Buhii!! Bugyu!!"
I was very surprised after hearing some disturbing sounds coming from around me. They sounded like pigs, but why are there pigs here?
All of a sudden, I began to feel all my senses return to me. I felt the ground, I felt the temperature, I felt air going in and out of my nostrils and mouth. And with that, I opened my eyes while standing up at the same time.
My vision was all blurry, I couldn't make out many things except the countless humanoid figures in front of me that seemed to be same or taller than 2 metres in height.
After looking everywhere from front to back, I took a good look at myself as my vision began to gradually return back to a perfectly clear state.
I was wearing clothes made out of brown leather, blue fabric and a breastplate made out of shiny metal. This looked like some sort of armor that adventurers wear in videogames, it even bears a striking resemblance to the one my character wears in my MMORPG game. Not to brag but it's actually a pretty strong armor with a convincingly weak appearance, it was originally intimidating but I changed it's looks to avoid any unnecessary attention. I didn't like it when noobs and idiots ask me for my money or items that I worked hard on.
Back to the more important matter at hand, the deafening sounds of pigs were getting annoying. So I stood up and looked at where I was.
And uh...
I was surrounded by bipedal pigs bigger than the tallest guy I have ever seen. So these are orcs from the fantasies I read and watched, they look intimidating and scary, not to mention they smell and look awful to add up to it's annoying oinks.
Looking at their numbers, I'm surrounded by more than a hundred of them, I guess? Will they attack me?
While I was staring at them looking for a reply, I realized some of them were looking at me hungrily while licking their pink snotty snouts. The sight itself disgusted me alot.
One thing for certain is I got isekaied. Since afterall, I died, right? I'm not like those dense main characters who takes minutes or hours to realize something so obvious.
I was standing in what seemed like a giant cyan magic circle on a stone slab enough to fit my whole room in. And it was encircled by these hordes of orcs. Looking at the setting, they summoned me. But for what reason? Did they just make a mistake or something?
"Buhiiii!!!"
The question in mind was answered by an orc only half the size of the other orcs. It screamed incomprehensible words at it's fellow orcs which started to ready their weapons and climb up the stone slab I was currently in.
So looking at it correctly, they did seem to have made a mistake and summoned the wrong person. The small Orc wearing a black robe is the leader. And these orcs are going to attack me. What an unfortunate outcome for me since I don't even know what kind of power I received after being isekaied. For now, let's try to dodge.
I spread out my consciousness and took focus on everything around me to try and simulate attacks that will land on me.
Rolling under the feet of the orcs would be the obvious and stupid choice so I'll go with another plan which they wouldn't expect.
I stood low on my feet as I began to pour my strength onto my legs and tendons.
I launched myself and sprang up high into the air. Atleast enough for me to land on top of an orc's head and jump to the next.
This seemed more like parkour than a fight to me. Being surrounded while unarmed is an obvious death wish unless I'm some overpowered character. I don't know if I'm one of those people but one thing for sure is I don't even know if I have abilities or not. So it's best to run away.
I leaped from an orc's head to another. There were several attempts to catch me in mid air but I was miraculously able to dodge them just fine, adrenaline is on pretty good terms with me right now. Why am I this skilled you ask? Well, I'M FUCKING SCARED SO OFCOURSE I'M DESPERATE! I don't care if I break my leg or anything as long as I can escape!
After hopping and using the sea of orcs as my platform, where if you fall you die, I successfully made it out and jumped down from the last Orc's body and landed on fresh soil.
The moment I did, there was a stampede as a sea of orcs began to pursue me. Knowing this would happen, I have already sprinted away. I may not know if I have skills or anything or not but I do know that my physical abilities improved enough to escape those things with my current speed.
I sprinted continuously in the dense packs of trees while evading the ones that I almost hit my face on until finally, I saw light. The first thing that came to sight was an unpaved dirt road which is most likely used by carriages to travel. I wonder how deep in the forest I was earlier, if those things were unleashed in a village it would definitely get destroyed unless theres a strong individual there.
I followed the path where the road leads, it's possible that if I follow it, I would find other humans.
"Sheesh, that was scary as hell."
I exclaimed while leaking out a huge sigh of relief. If I hadn't escaped, it would have been terrible. I read that those things kidnap women and use them to reproduce the next generation orcs. And I most definitely do not want any of those disgusting stuff happening to me.
Now that I'm no longer under attack or in danger, it would be safe to assume I can view my status unhindered now.
"Status!"

It actually worked. A blue window had appeared in front of me, it was the size of a chopping board and written on it was my status.
I just did what the other isekai protagonists do when they get sent to another world. Since this is always the thing they say to open their statistics, I figured doing the same as an experiment.
I read my five skill's information as I walked. It's unimportant talking about it since I can't use it right now, I currently need a paper and quill. But most importantly, it says I need something like a romantic partner. Does this actually mean I have to find a girl I like in this world immediately? I mean, that's going to be hard on me in the first place since I'm also a girl. I doubt just any girl would be okay with being with another girl. And if we're talking about guys, I don't think I'll have a boyfriend. I don't like them and I don't seem to develop any feelings for them so it will be useless either way.
I looked at my clothes. This might actually be my character in my game. And as I was curious even more about appearance, I touched my face and looked at my long black hair. Yeah, this is my character from that game just by reading the name. But didn't this also mean I should have the skills my character had? What's this unknown status then?
In the end, the only clue I got was the name of the granter, Clodwal Okamura.
Later that day after following the road, I have finally arrived in front of a city protected by walls reaching 50 metres high. In front of me was a gate and what seemed like a checkpoint where a line of people and transports were waiting on.
If I'm not mistaken, to cross this place I must have something like a Guild Card. If I don't, I will need to pay money instead. But the problem is I don't have money. What should I do now? Well that's going to be obvious. I'll borrow money from the people here.
I walked towards the line of people and looked at their faces one by one. I even had a discerning look in my face which creeped out the people I looked at. Merchants, adventurers, coachmen, travellers. They all looked unique. I picked a silver haired girl that looks like a knight waiting in line.
"H-Hello."
I said to her, I seem to have gotten her attention as she turned her head to look at me. She only stared at me for a while, but then she replied.
"Fe rikrul?"
I didn't understand anything that she said! Her golden eyes were piercing me as if she was looking through my skull. I replied still, knowing that she wouldn't understand me anyway.
"Can you understand me?"
"?"
She didn't reply but simply stared at me for a few seconds while tapping her temples before putting her left hand in a small bag on her waist as if looking for something and taking out an earring to which she wore. Is that some kind of translation item?
"H-Hello there, do you understand me now? Are you perhaps from a foreign country?"
So I was right. She asked me first before I asked her. Her voice was pretty calm and embarrassed, noticing that, she cleared it with a fake cough.
"N-No, I'm not affiliated to any nation or anything since I lived with my family in a forest."
I need to be careful, because what if they're at war with another nation? It might cause suspicion and I might get executed. Specially careful since this woman looks like she's a knight, and it's common sense knights work for a Kingdom's military force.
"Hee, is that so? So what made you call me out? Are you perhaps asking me to give you my position in this line?"
She looked at me menacingly, I can clearly feel killing intent oozing out of her. So I'll clear this up before I suddenly die or lose my pride, making me back down.
"No it's not that."
Her expression seemed to have changed a little to be a little friendlier. She also seemed a little puzzled as well.
"Then how can I help you? Sorry for rudely scaring you, it's just that I'm bad at hot weathers so I'm also hot tempered because of this loooooong line."
"I want to borrow some money from you!"
I asked straight away. I didn't need any time wasted for no reason, I can already see that it's currently 11am in the morning just by looking at the sun's position.
"E-Eh? I-Is that all?"
"Yes!"
I reiterated. But to be more cautious, I'll ask for the exact amount I want without knowing the currency.
"If possible I want an amount that would let me enter the city and also register as an adventurer!"
"I see now, you've come to this city to register as an adventurer. I'm Thalia, also an adventurer. Nice to meet you future comrade, what might your name be?"
She reached out her hand for a handshake. I took it and answered her the name of my character.
"My name is Seven Clavery, nice to meet you Thalia-san."
I smiled at her, I felt insecure since I don't know if I look ugly or not in this new body or not. And I didn't have a way to confirm it right now. I feel like I may be beautiful though since Thalia-san blushed after I beamed at her.
The story I went with was that I lived in the woods with my parents until they died from a curse. And in order to earn money and live, I chose being an adventurer.
Thalia-san believed that and began explaining to me about the currencies of this world. Then after that, she gave me 1 large silver coin for the entrance and 1 platinum coin for the guild registration for when I enter. I thanked her alot before finally saying goodbye to her, afterall it was her turn to enter the city. I will make sure to pay her back. Afterall, she just let me borrow money that she earned that was enough to let me live for one month. I will definitely become an adventurer and earn them back.
