Chapter 16 - Libra Kingdom Arc - Chapter 15: Arlet's Residence

"I may be imagining it, but I think I'm leaking out a weird kind of pheromones that attract my love targets."

I muttered for noone to hear. Some people heard it and looked at me weirdly but that's fine.

Right now, I was walking at the streets of the Theta City of the Libra Kingdom. It was a day after we returned from an arduous journey to purge the orc army and unexpectedly slay a Dark General.

It gives me the memories of the first time I came here. All lost and clueless about where to go. Come to think of it, I haven't met that girl named Thalia yet all these days. Was she not part of the subjugation team?

While I was trying to guess where she was, someone grabbed me from behind. I immediately looked for the culprit, if it's a man, I'll kill him, if it's a girl I don know, I'll ask if it's an accident.

"G-Good morning, Seven-sama."

It turned out to be Aria in a leather jacket and black jeans. She looked like a matured woman in that outfit.

"My~ I didn't realize you could be so assertive now, Aria."

I teased her a bit to see her flushed.

"I just bumped into you... Seven-sama are you going to Arlet-san's house?"

"Don't call me with such honorifics, it feels uncomfortable. I'm still Rank E."

As promised by the Guild Master, he made it quicker for me to advance the rankings by multiplying the amount of contribution points I make to the guild by doing quests. That subjugation gave me so much that I'm close to reaching Rank D already.

"And about Arlet, she did tell us to come at 11am to eat lunch with her. So shall we go together?"

"Yes, sure."

Aria held me by the hand as we walked towards the city's southern district. Some people looked at our hand holding but didn't get bothered by it, in fact, they even liked seeing it. This world really is different from the one I was once in.

It's troubling but Arlet gave us a hard time by not giving us the exact location of her house. Just that it was 'at the southern area and it's easy to spot with how big it is' part that wasn't that accurate at all. There were alot of big houses here. There's even a mansion with a large front yard.

"That Arlet, all she did is tell us that it was big and noticeable."

"That's so like her."

Aria replied with a cute laugh.

"To be honest, this mansion is the biggest and most noticeable here. Let's ask this one first if Arlet lives here."

"Mhm, I'll do it."

We tried just that and approached one of the soldiers guarding the mansion's only front gate.

"Excuse me, can we ask about directions?"

Aria volunteered to go and asked a guard in a red and black suit with blue hair. It looked like he's wearing a light leather armor for a swordsman.

"Sure, ask ahead."

"We're looking for Hunter Arlet. Do you know where she lives?"

The guard briefly inspected our clothing with just himself, probably to scan us. Good thing we wore clothes for going outdoors or we'd be mistaken as good for nothings.

"The young lady is inside, but please wait here. I will call her out."

We waited for 5 minutes basked in the sun until the guard returned with Arlet. Seeing who her visitors was, she came sprinting, knocking the guard over after running towards us.

"Welcome to my house, Seven and Aria!"

Arlet boisterously welcomed us. Meanwhile, the knocked down guard pardoned himself and went back to his post. Arlet led us the way to her mansion.

The mansion was not only grand, but the inside itself looked nouveau riche. Beautiful portraits of people that's most likely Arlet's ancestors was lined across the corridor.

We followed Arlet to a stairs leading to the second floor which had a yellow design on it's walls. There were flower vases at every door's entrance being treated by maids managing the plants. The wall was made of glass and I could see an old man pruning the hedges of the front yard from here.

We stopped in front of a large mahogany door with blue lilies as vase plants at it's entrance.

"I guess we're here. Seven, remember to be polite to my parents. I guess there's noone inside here besides them."

I nodded to her and she opened the door.

The room turned out to be a noble's dining room. There was a long table inside with chairs adjacent to it. Sitting on two tables might be Arlet's parents and an unfamiliar person with black hair and ebony eyes.

The man who looked like Arlet's father stood up and greeted us. He had the same brown hair as her except he was human, but her mother beside him warmly smiling at us had her ears and tail. She had golden hair and purple eyes which Arlet likely inherited because her father had blue ones.

"Ah, you must be Hunter's friends. I am the feudal lord of this city, Gondrum Arlet and this is my wife Folnia. We've been expecting your visit."

We were warmly welcomed by Arlet's parents. The other person on the other hand had chocolate stuffed on his mouth but called out to Arlet eitherway.

"Yo, Hunter. I came to visit for a bit."

"Alric? What are you doing here, I thought you were in the Aries Kingdom since semester will be starting next month."

Arlet seemed to be acquainted with him. Just who is this person?

"Next month is still long, I'll chill here with my dad before then."

Again, he stuffed his mouth with cakes like a hungry wolf. Arlet's parents didn't seem bothered by it though and was smiling instead like looking at their own newborn baby.

"By the way. This is Aria and Seven, they're friends from work. Since mom and dad already introduced themselves..."

Arlet pointed her index finger at the black haired guy chewing food looking more like a squirrel than my pet, One.

"This guy's name is Alric Ruthenford. He's my childhood friend and also the Guild Master's son. It's thanks to him that I was able to join the Adventurer's Guild."

"Sup, I'm Alric. Nice to meet ya!"

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Seven Clavery."

"G-Good afternoon, I'm Aria Vleutonelle."

So he's the Guild Master's son? No wonder he has black hair. That black hair and eyes looked good on him though with that fine crafted face.

The guy smiled at us brightly. Strangely enough it was like he was emitting some sort of pheromones that's making me attracted to him, I was feeling my cheeks blush and my heart beat faster but the others don't seem affected by it.

What the heck is happening? I'm supposed to not like guys!

I diverted my eyes from him but it didn't seem to work. However, looking at him felt worse so I'll stick with this.

"Is something wrong, Seven?"

"N-Nothing...

Arlet asked me in a worried tone.

"Woah, that's strange."

Muttered Alric who was pondering with his hand on his chin while looking at me.

I hate this feeling so much. Being near him is dangerous for my mental health.

"?"

The feeling suddenly disappeared. It made me flinch without knowing and everyone seemed to be looking at me.

"I'm sorry about that, I just felt something weird but it's okay now."

"Ah, is that so."

Exclaimed Arlet's father.

"That's a relief..."

Aria sighed.

"Hope you're okay."

Said the guy who was causing that weird tingly feeling.

The three of us sat down on the table and we were presented with a feast by the servants even though there's only six people here. Most of the food were meat which included chicken, mutton and bacons. And the rest were vegetables which Arlet's father seemed to be fond of. Her mother on the other hand, liked meat alot.

"So Alric, when are you going to the Aries Kingdom?"

Arlet asked the boy named Alric while gesturing with her fork. He wasn't eating this time and instead was reading some book dedicated to magic formula construction. I was eating a salad from this world.

"I'll be going there just a day before the entrance exams of the Magic Academy. When we're done with that, I'll stay at the dorms."

The Magic Academy at the Aries Kingdom? Isn't that where Leyla works as a teacher? I guess I can go there to visit her too next month. I can also register as a student too if I have enough money.

"Aren't you gonna come, Hunter?"

Alric added while tilting his head.

"No way, it's no fun since it'll just be you there. Atleast I know some people back in the Adventurer's Guild."

"You can just make friends you know? You're pretty famous so it'll be easy. It's also for your futu—"

"No means no. We've already discussed this already."

Arlet's tone suddenly became stern and sharp. As if going against her decision would lead to a fight.

I want to join in and tell Arlet off, but I should know my place. I'm just a new guest here.

Alric leaked out a sigh. So did Arlet's parents. I can tell from this that this Alric guy is just worried about her, he's as confusing as his father though whether he's bad or good. The former is just because he leaked out some sort of charming atmosphere and I got hit so I'm mad at him.

"Ah, fine. I give up. Just go to the academy when you feel like it."

Arlet nodded silently and the room sank into silence. Being uncomfortable, Alric stood up.

"Alright big sis, I'll be going home to do some advanced studying now."

And off he went. I just realized he was wearing some fancy black clothes with golden decorations that's mostly used by nobles in the medieval era back on Earth. Although he looked like a cosplayer model wearing it.

"See ya. Thanks by the way, uncle and aunt Arlet. Nice meeting you, Aria and Seven."

Arlet's parents waved him goodbye before he left through the door. Their eyes were now fixed on Arlet who was being rude to him earlier.

"I'm sorry."

Wow. I didn't expect Arlet would apologize so fast, I wouldn't have done that if I were in her situation.

"Hunter, you should watch how you speak. Alric will feel lonely if you act so mean to him."

"Yes, mother."

"Yeah, he's your childhood friend. Be kinder."

"Yes, father."

I don't know why, but I find the Arlet right now cute. Ofcourse I mean their daughter. The way she listens to them is just so different than how she usually is, and gives me unwanted feelings of nostalgia.

▪️▫️▪️▫️▪️

After eating lunch with her parents, we finally arrived to Arlet's room.

The person herself leaped and bounced on her bed as she landed. Much like a kid.

"Do you remember our agreement, Arlet?"

"Yep~"

Arlet approached me and put a chocolate in her mouth. Aria watched closely, not knowing what Arlet would do next.

But was stupefied when Arlet suddenly slid her tongue in my mouth which I wholeheartedly allowed with my eyes closed.

"...mh."

Aria looked like she was about to faint after seeing what the two of us did in front of her.

"Tastes like chocolate."

I whispered to myself before licking the remains from my lips.

"By the way, I don't think we told Aria why we came here." I said to Arlet.

"Eh~? But she still came?"

We both looked at Aria who had her knees give up on her. She was trembling from head to toe in embarrassment. I somehow felt bad for her.

"Aria~ I invited you and Seven here. To do a threesome."

"Th-Th-Three..."

"Yep!"

Aria fainted.

"..."

"..."

We both looked at Aria then to each other with expressions that seemed as if we're guilty of murder.

"W-Well... I guess we'll just make do with the two of us. Let's do the threesome when Aria wakes up."

I suggested while removing my clothes and storing them in my ring. It's a bit shameful but, I'm getting used to revealing my body in front of someone. We moved the sleeping Aria to the bed and we did it right beside her because the bed was large enough to accommodate the three of us.

An hour and a half later, Aria woke up but she fainted again afterwards after seeing me sexually on top of Arlet.

I guess, it's not going to work afterall.
