There are three reasons why we camp before a raid.
The first is to rest after a long back-aching journey.
The second is to announce the battle strategy to every party present.
Then the third is to sleep before battle. We wouldn't want to be fatigued and hindered by drowsiness when the battle begins so sleeping is common before all that.
To evade an unexpected case of our campsite being discovered by orcs scouting the area, Light Mages used an illusion barrier to hide the flickering lights and congregations of people.
Right now was 7:30pm, a discussion between party leaders and the Guild Master is being held.
"Is the Guild Master strong?"
I asked the boys sitting on the ground at my front, betwixt us was the already lit camp fire which we're currently using to cook marshmallows. Sitting besides me was Aria who just dropped a marshmallow to the campfire after it had slipped from the skewer, Arlet went to the meeting so she wasn't here.
"He is. Before getting to that position, he was first a famous Rank B Adventurer. He was once royalty too so he was naturally gifted with a 98 aptitude in magic." Said Percy.
"Woah."
I heard Aria make a faint sigh.
Because I felt bad for her who accidentally keeps dropping her share of marshmallows that Arlet gave us, I offered her mine by making the food touch her lips. She was surprised by it at first.
"Here, it's sweet."
"O-Oh, thank you."
Aria gratefully received the marshmallow I cooked and began eating it. I used that stick.
Indirect kiss!
"Are you bad at cooking marshmallows?"
"I'm bad at any food that melts, actually. Why are marshmallows even cooked with sticks in the first place..."
She became gloomy real quick.
"I'll cook them for you."
I smiled at her brightly with obviously ill intentions.
"Thank you, I'll be counting on you then."
She accepted it?!
This only means more indirect kisses atleast which I happen to enjoy. Although it doesn't give me affection points, it's still acceptable.
I took her stick and mine as well then cooked marshmallows with two on each one to make things faster.
"My daughter would love to meet you girls with how much you like marshmallows." Said Durian while laughing like he just heard a good joke.
"You got kids, Sir Durian?" Asked Ledge.
"Aye, she's at home. But once a month I take her out camping with my wife." Replied Durian.
The conversation continued about Durian's family. Hearing all these, Aria was a bit envious.
"You sound like you're living the life, Durian-san."
Aria said that while eating the marshmallows.
"Sure am! Don't you have children yet, Aria-san?" Durian replied with a big grin.
I was too engrossed in looking at Aria and observing her face that I didn't care much about the conversation. She has good looks, atleast on par with Nina's beauty. Her long red hair was tied in a chignon to not get in the way of battle and her eyes were a dark violet color like mine.
While I am a close combatant, I never really bothered tying my hair since it would make me less attractive in my opinion. And it somehow doesn't get in my way anyway so I leave it alone.
"Eh?! Ofcourse not! I don't even have a lover yet much less children."
"Would you like to make a family with me then, Aria-san?"
I asked her teasingly which she responded to with a laugh that I expected and a reaction that went with the flow.
"Hahaha, maybe if we get closer we can do that."

The men's thoughts were muddled but they don't need to know what will happen next.
"Sorry for troubling you, Seven-san. Even though you already helped me earlier."
"It's fine, I wanted to do it anyway. By the way, Aria. Are you in a relationship?"
Aria got flustered before answering. We have exited the campsite just now.
"Not really. What's with that question all of a sudden?"
"I just thought that Aria-san looked cute."
"Th-Thank you, y-you're cute too but don't say it like that or it sounds like you're hitting on me."
"But I am hitting on you."
"You admitted it already?! W-Well, I'm not really related if you like the same sex anyway so I don't mind. "
A hint that she felt uneasy was there. But unlike on Earth where they might even run away after hearing such thing, she stayed and even accepted my sexuality. The discrimination against girls liking other girls here is so low that I can say this is my ideal world.

I listened to her request and waited patiently for a few moments.

Aria looked refreshed just from doing her business. Her smile was so bright that a sort of curiosity took over me that I wanted to rip off her clothes. The devil's whispers are beginning to be tempting. But I won't give in just yet.
"I'm sorry I left you in a hurry earlier, Seven-san. It's okay to like other girls. I understand that girls are cute, I know that too so I can't blame you for being interested."
I felt like my heart gave a thump and an aphrodisiac came over me after hearing that. What she said... Those were the words I've always wanted to hear back in the real world. She asked while surveying the area for anyone nearby.

Ledge, Percy, Durian and Arlet were eating overcooked salmon. Though they didn't look bothered.

After apologizing, Aria and I sat down to dine with them.
"Aria~ you look happy. Did something happen?"
"N-Nothing really! W-We, Seven and I just had a little talk about something and it made me happy."
"Hmm... Is that so?"
Arlet leaned closer to me and started sniffing me...
"So that's how it is~ Alright I got it!"
Arlet clapped her hands showing a mischievous smile. The boys looked puzzled while me and Aria shivered silently.
"Ah! I forgot to tell everyone! Here's the plan the guild master explained to me."
Arlet began explaining our role during the raid. Our numbers are over 50 parties, 300 adventurers in total that rank from E to C. 19 parties will act as the tanks or advanced troops to gather the enemy's attention. 30 parties will surround the enemy camp and suppress the enemy forces in battle from all directions. During the fierce battle between two sides, 1 party which is us will rescue the hostages by taking advantage of the confusion.
After explaining the plan mindfully, Arlet told us to sleep and went inside her own tent to take a rest. The others followed suit and also slept.
"Aren't you going to sleep?"
Asked Aria who had a worried expression while gazing at me.
"I'm not going to sleep. I already slept so much earlier that I won't be able to sleep any more."
It was by no means easy to sleep in my new body. I couldn't feel fatique so sleeping isn't necessary anymore and wasn't easy to do for me, I only sleep when I'm tired back in my previous world. In here, I will only sleep if I need to pass the time.
"If you say so. Don't forget to sleep when you're tired, okay?"
Before leaving, Aria suddenly pushed me down and pressed her lips against my lips.
I accepted it ofcourse and it lasted for 5 seconds.
She left in a sparky mood and headed to her tent to rest like the others. My lips curled playfully when I was finally left alone. I spent the remaining 6 hours scouting the Orc Army's movements through One's eyes.
