Chapter 4 - Lost Adolescence

Biyan returned to her own house after taking Yona to the front of the small alley of Yona's house.

From a few meters away, a loud noise came from inside Biyan's house. "Don't take it, I beg you," the voice was familiar to her ears, yes it was her mother's voice. Biyan immediately ran.

"Mom!" Biyan exclaimed as she ran.

Biyan mother was pleading with two men wearing black suits. They look like deep collectors and beside him, there is Riyu who keeps looking down.

Biyan immediately ran. "What is this?"

"Are you Biyan? Your older brother owes us a debt at the gambling place. You said you were already working to pay it now, if not, we would take everything in this house." The man looked inside the house. "But there's nothing of a valuable object, so if you don't pay, we'll sell your brother as a slave or maybe we'll sell his organs."

Riyu frantically folded her arms. "We will pay, sir. Wait a minute my sister will get the money."

"Just sell him!" shouted Biyan.

"You!" Riyu was inflamed seeing Biyan.

"I'll pay, please give us some time," his mother pleaded.

"Mom!" Biyan protested. The girl saw Riyu and her mother kneeling in front of the two people.

Biyan who saw also shed tears. "Mom, why you beg mercy for the child who does not know repay affection. he does not deserve your cry."

Biyan's mother doesn't care about her daughter's words, she again begs to fold her hands as well as Riyu. "Please give us some time."

The two of them chuckled, "Money won't come by begging, I'll give you 1 week, if you can't pay off the debt. He is." The person pointed at Riyu. "I'll sell it. Get out of the way!" the person kicked Biyan's mother and then left.

"Don't you feel sorry to mother," Biyan shouted with tears and then went forward to beat her brother who was silent.

His mother stepped inside and sat on a simple sofa followed by Riyu who knelt down. "Mother, help me. I don't want to be sold."

"Then you just die!" shouted Biyan from the doorway. "We're moving from here ma'am, just leave that useless person!" continued Biyan again passionately.

Biyan mother rubbed her hand. "Mom will be looking for additional work." She just stood up.

"What? You're tired of working at the rich man's house, now you want to find another job?"

"Then? Are you going to let your brother be captured, made into a slave, or his organs sold? As long as the mother is alive you are still my children."

Biyan wept when she saw her mother, who was back preparing to reach for the bag by wiping away the traces of tears. She always stays strong.

Biyan looked at her brother intently, her hands clenched into fists like she wanted to punch that ignorant face. "How much do you owe?" Biyan didn't want to know but seeing her mother who was about to try, Biyan couldn't bear it.

Riyu faced his sister. "50 million, not yet with the interest."

"What?!" shouted Biyan in disbelief. Meanwhile, her mother, who had been standing, slumped to her knees.

"Mother."

"You idiot! You think it's a small amount of money!" Biyan slapped Riyu's shoulder.

"Where did that kind of money come from?" Biyan shouted while crying and also embraced her mother.

All of Biyan mother's bones feel weak when she hears so much debt, while it's hard to even eat

Riyu just looked down not daring to say anymore, he just hoped they could find a solution without having to sell his kidney.

Several days ago his father kept inviting Rex to come to their house, but Rex always refused. This time Rex stepped foot in this house again.  A house that has been abandoned for a long time because of its dark history in it, until his biological mother died.  Since then Rex chose to live alone to pursue his career.

This morning Alena was having breakfast, she had heard the news that Rex came home last night.  Footsteps drew closer to the dining room.  Alena knew who was coming because Mackenzie and Dili had already left this morning.

"Who's in charge of cleaning my room?"  Rex asked.

The two maids beside Alena spoke up.  "I, Young Master."

"Clean now!"

"Well, Young Master."

Elena put down her drinking glass.  "Have breakfast with me, we haven't seen each other in a long time. How are you?"

"We're not mother and son, excuse me," said Rex as soon as he left the dining room.

Elena grumbled.  "How long has he not looked at me, it's been 3 years."  Biyan mother who was beside Alena only listened to the mistress, it was no secret that Rex and his stepmother never got along.

"Get rid of this food! My appetite has disappeared."  Alena left the dining room leaving a lot of luxurious food menus served.  Biyan mother saw all the side dishes swallow her saliva. Usually, she would take the food home.

"Guys, there's a new movie, let's watch it."  The chatter of other students as they left the classroom, the laughter of other children's happiness that passed by Biyan. Happiness that Biyan could not feel.

In the kitchen of one of the restaurants.  Biyan ties a plastic apron on his body.  He got ready to wash the dishes.  Just getting ready, a pile of dirty dishes has arrived.

Prang!

Their voices echoed in the sink, there was no need to relax Biyan was chased by time if she didn't want to be scolded by the restaurant owner.  Two piles, three piles, plates kept coming into the late afternoon.  From the restaurant to the cafe until the middle of the night Biyan came home and had school in the morning.  Just keep going like that.

Biyan almost shed tears seeing her own fate

Biyan came back strong to finish all the work. In the changing room, Biyan unwinds, preparing for the next job, from inside the wallet there is the credit card that Rex gave.

When finished, Biyan went to the restaurant owner's office.  She is paid daily so if she doesn't come in, she doesn't get a salary.

"You persistent girl, thank you for today."  The restaurant owner handed her an envelope.

Bian accepted it.  "Thank you, Sir."

"Let me know if you can't attend."

"I will always be there, sir."  Biyan looked down and left the room.

Biyan walked on the sidewalk.

Bruck!

"Sorry."  She bumped into someone but resumed her walk leaving the charming man's gaze.

Biyan looked down at the fallen object. After Biyan was about to leave, her bracelet got caught in Dili's luggage.  "Sorry."

Biyan tried to remove her bracelet from the small hanger that Dili had bought.  "Sorry," she said again.

Dili smiled gently.  "My sorry box is full, all sorry from you. It's hard to let go so you just take it!"

"No, sir."  Biyan is still trying to untie the hanger with the chain bracelet.

After being released Biyan bowed to leave the man.

Dili continued to look at the tiny back that was not interested in seeing it earlier.

"What do you see, baby? A woman?"  The woman who was with Dili clung to his elbows.

"No one is more seductive than you."  Dili grabbed the blonde woman's chin.

The two of them went into the car after buying some things.
