Chereads / A Spark's Life That Shines / Chapter 60 - A Rebel in love Part 4

Chapter 60 - A Rebel in love Part 4

Back at the base, Jack and Raf were still watching Iron Man since Raf had downloaded the movie earlier.

"Tony Stark sure knows how to kick some bad guys butt huh?" Raf commented as Jack just nodded.

"Yeah." He said and caused the two to become silent.

"I'm not a big fan of how the Mark 1 suit looks but it's really awesome. You know what those flamethrower things are." Raf said as he struck up another conversation.

"Yeah..." Jack replied before they both ended up silent again and caused Raf to sigh.

"Why are you always answering me with the same thing?" He asked him curiously as Jack glanced at him.

"Hmm? Oh, sorry. I was just focusing on the movie. But why are you talking about the same thing?" Jack then asked as Raf just shrugged.

"I don't know." He said as Jack. nodded.

"Okay." Both Raf and Jack said before they went silent again.

"Are you sure the others will be alright?" Raf then asked as he was worried for the others.

"I'm sure they'll be okay. They've been through worse." Jack said to reassure him.

"Yeah... I guess." Raf slowly said as they stayed silent again.

"Do you think Miko is going to be okay?" Raf asked as Jack was sure that Miko would be okay since Emily is with them.

"Yeah, yeah... She'll be okay. The girl is tough." Jack said as he tried to reassure Raf as they both stayed silent again.

"I gotta admit. I'm a little worried." Raf finally admitted as Jack sighed.

"Me too. A lot actually." He said.

"Maybe we should call them. To see if she's okay." Raf said as he was worried for his friends.

"Nah, we don't need to bother them with that. I'll send her a text." Jack said as he took out his phone and typed a text on it to Miko.

Meanwhile, back at the highway, the Autobots along with Fowler and the U.S military soldiers were driving down the road while keeping their tight formation and waiting for MECH to try and steal the DINGUS. Inside Bulkhead, Fowler was keeping an eye on Emily and Miko but both girls were completely silent as they didn't even look at each other. They were just watching the road around them when suddenly Miko's phone started to ring. She took it out of her pocket to see who it was. She saw that Jack had sent her a text that said 'Hey, Miko, how are you doing right now?'. Emily saw that Miko had received a text and she got curious about it as she asked.

"You received a message huh? That's great. Do you know who it is?" Emily asked her as Miko nodded.

"It's Jack. He and Raf want to know how I'm doing." Miko said as she started to write a reply.

Miko texted a message that says 'I'm reaaaaallyyy bored 😐'. After she's done writing it, she sends it as she then texts and sends one that says 'What part of the movie are you in?'.

Back at the base, Jack's phone rings and he sees the message Miko had sent him as he was relieved.

"Great, we got an answer." Jack said with a smile as Raf scooch over to see.

"It's Miko. What does her message say?" Raf asked as he was relieved.

"It says..." Jack trailed off as he started to read the message.

"'I'm reaaaaallyyy bored 😐' with a bored emoji. She also ask in what part of the movie are we in." Jack said as Raf cringed and covered his eyes at the scene.

"We're already at the change of heart scene." He said with a shudder.

"Great. I'll just tell her that." Jack said as he started to text back to answer her.

In the message he typed 'You bored? Yeah right. We're at the part where Tony Stark changes for a new heart. Very gross 🀒'. After he's finished typing the message, he sends it.

Back at the highway, Miko receives Jack's message as she reads and then laughs a little. After that, she sends a text with 5 laughing emojis. After that, she typed and sent another message where she said 'Did you keep me some popcorn? You better not have eaten all the extra cheese popcorn'.

Back at the base, Jack phones rings as he was surprised to see that a new message popped up instantly.

"Another message already?" He asked in surprise.

"She must really be bored." Raf said with a small grin.

"Yeah. She's asking if we let her some extra cheese popcorn. She'll be glad to know that the bowl is still full of it." Jack said before texting Miko a new message before sending it after he was done.

Back at the highway, Miko receives Jack's message as the message says 'Don't worry. The bowl is still full. The early scene I talked about grossed us too much to eat. BTW, tell Ems that there's still some hot πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯🌢🌢🌢 spicy popcorn'. Reading that message made Miko laugh a little. Curious about what was funny, Emily asked Miko what made her laugh.

"What's so funny?" She asked curiously as Miko snickered.

"Oh nothing." She said with a small grin.

"Come on, tell me. I'll keep asking until you tell me." Emily said with a smirk as Miko gave in but smirked back.

"Okay, fine. I asked the guys if there was still some extra cheese popcorn. Jack told me to tell you that there's still extra spicy popcorn." She said as Emily gave a dumbfounded look but she'll get back at Jack later once they get back.

"Oh, that's a low blow. Remind me later to get even with him." She said while rolling her eyes.

"Okay." Miko said with a smirk.

Miko then types a message that says 'Thanks for not eating the whole extra cheese popcorn, dude. See you later, man'. When she sent it, it didn't work as her phone signal wasn't working anymore.

"What the?" She said in confusion.

Miko tried to send the message again but something was jamming her phone signal and causing her to groan.

"Ah, great. No more phone signals. This day just keeps getting better and better." Miko said with a pout.

"If you want, I can put on your favourite songs. I'm sure some Slash Monkey will cheer you up." Bulkhead then spoke up since he had been silent for a while.

"I'll pass." Miko said with a sigh.

"I sure would love some good old fashion road trip music." Agent Fowler said.

"In your dreams, Fowler." Bulkhead said as Agent Fowler groaned.

"Great." He said as Emily and Miko snickered.

Back at the base, Jack was waiting for a reply from Miko but didn't receive any reply from her.

"That's weird." Jack said in confusion.

"What is it?" Raf asked curiously.

"Miko was writing and suddenly she just stopped. Let me try to send her a message." Jack said.

Jack texted and sent the message that says 'You ok?' as Jack and Raf waited to see if Miko answered but there was no answer and the two were starting to get nervous.

"Maybe you should give her a call." Raf suggested as Jack nodded.

"Good idea." He said as he dialed her number.

Jack then calls Miko but there's no answer, only that the number is unavailable at the moment.

"That's weird. Miko's number is unavailable." Jack said as he turned his phone off as Raf looked even more worried.

"I don't like the sound of that." Raf said meekly.

"Hey, hey, hey, there's no need to worry." Jack said as he put a hand on his shoulder as Raf nodded slowly.

"Everything good, guys?" Ratchet asked as he went over to them to see what they were doing.

"Yeah, yeah, we were just, uh, getting comfy." Jack said as Raf nodded.

"Right. You can't enjoy a movie if you're not comfy." Raf said in agreement with Jack as Ratchet raised an optic ridge at them.

"Okay then. I'll be working on some stuff. Call me if something comes up. Until then you know the rules." Ratchet said sternly as both Raf and Jack knew what he always said.

"Don't touch anything." They both said in unison as Ratchet looked pleased.

"That's right. Just because you're out of your punishment doesn't mean you can play around. Behave yourself." Ratchet told them before he walked off to work on some stuff that needed to be done.

"Don't worry, Raf. Everything is gonna be okay. Maybe Miko doesn't have a phone signal where she is right now." Jack told him as Raf felt a little relieved at that.

"That would explain it." He said.

"Come on, let's go back to watching the movie." Jack said as Raf nodded.

Both Jack and Raf resumed watching the movie and tried not to worry too much but they couldn't help but feel a little uneasy like something was about to happen.

Meanwhile back at the highway, the Autobots were driving while keeping a close eye on the precious cargo they were transporting as Optimus used the radios to communicate with the others.

"Autobots, what's your status?" Optimus asked.

"Rear side secured." Arcee said.

"Left side secured." Cliffjumper said.

"Right side secured." Smokescreen replied.

"The middle section is safe." Bulkhead said as Bumblebee whirred to agree as he was on the front.

"How are things going, boys?" Agent Fowler then asks his men through the walkie talkie.

"Everything good from here, sir." The soldier replied.

"Keep your eyes open. The enemies are hiding somewhere, waiting for the right moment to strike." Agent Fowler advised.

"Yes, sir." The soldier said before they turned off their walkie talkie as the convoy was going well so far.

Inside Bulkhead, Miko and Emily were being silent again before Emily started to ask Miko a question to try and start a conversation to lighten the mood up a bit.

"Say... I don't mean to intrude myself in your private life but I wanna know what was so funny earlier. You read Jack's message and then you started to laugh. Did he say something funny?" Emily asked curiously as Miko grinned as she remembered the message Jack sent her.

"Yeah, sort of. He and Raf couldn't eat the popcorn because they got grossed out." Miko told her as Emily became curious and intrigued by this.

"Grossed out? By what?" She asked curiously.

"The scene where Tony Stark changes his heart. You know, the one where Pepper Potts puts her hand inside the..." Miko said as she made motions with her hands as Emily made an 'Oh' look as she snickered.

"Oh yeah right and then it beeps." She said with a fond smile.

"Just like an operation." They then both said at the same time.

Emily and Miko were both surprised that they said the same thing as both girls started laughing.

"I can't believe the guys were grossed out by that scene." Emily said as she giggled.

"I know right? Bunch of scaredy cats." Miko said with a snicker.

"Yeah. But just between you and me, I once had a nightmare that I had to do that." Emily confessed.

"No way, me too." Miko grinned at that.

"Hahaha. Sorry for teasing you like that early. I didn't mean to make you feel bad or anything." Emily then apologized as Miko just smiled.

"Nah, it's okay." Miko said as she punched her arm lightly as Emily just smiled.

"I cannot believe that you of all people would start to like someone. Especially a boy." Emily said as she was still in disbelief that Miko fell in love.

"Yeah." Miko said as she started to blush at the very thought of Tai.

"Say, just out of curiosity. How much do you like Tai?" Emily then asked curiously.

"Well, I'd say a bit." Miko said only to get a look from Emily saying that she didn't believe her.

"A little?" Miko suggested but Emily just kept on giving Miko the look to make her say the truth.

"Okay, okay, I admit it. I like him a lot. I'm just trying not to think too much about him. I don't wanna get too crazy about this." Miko finally admitted it as Emily was satisfied.

"So you're taking things slow huh? That's good, just try not to be too slow. You never know when another girl might start to get the moves on him." Emily said only to regret what she said when she noticed the slightly crestfallen look on Miko's face.

"Oh, sorry. That came out wrong. But I don't think you have to worry. Tai seems like a one girl guy. Plus I'm sure he cannot wait for you to show him around town. And who knows you two might end up in a face to face dinner." Emily said as Miko became hopeful at that as she tucked a strand of her pink highlighted hair behind her ear.

"You really think so?" She asked her hopefully as Emily just gave her a smile and a shrug.

"Who knows. Anything is possible. Just take it easy. Try to get to know him a little better. Trust me when it comes to boys, you wanna be careful." Emily told her as Miko nodded.

"Don't worry, I'll be careful. You're starting to sound just like Bulkhead though." Miko told her as Bulkhead spoke up.

"I can hear you." He said through the radio as Miko just grinned.

"So I hear someone has a serious crush. I know how that feels. Back in the day, I had my share of relationships. Those were the good old days." Agent Fowler said.

"Oh you're talking about the prehistoric age?" Miko decided to tease him as she and Bulkhead started to laugh while Emily snickered.

"You should know, young lady, that I might be old but I'm still young at heart." Agent Fowler said.

"For your age." Bulkhead then teased him as Emily and Miko burst out laughing.

"Hahaha, very funny." Agent Fowler laughed sarcastically before Bulkhead's radar started detecting something nearby.

"My scanners are picking up something." Bulkhead said as the three passengers in his vehicle mode all became alert at that.

"Mine are too." Arcee said as she detected it as well.

"Same here." Cliffjumper replied as Bumblebee whirred since he detected the same thing.

"Stay on your guard, Autobots." Optimus said as Bulkhead spoke to him through the radio.

"I don't think we need to worry, Optimus. It's just an aircraft." Bulkhead said as he noticed something through the side view mirror as Miko and Emily looked through the back window to see something.

"Aircraft or not. This bird is gonna fly right back to his nest." Agent Fowler said before he took out his walkie talkie and used it.

"Unidentified aircraft, you're interfering with a U.S government operation. I order you to turn around now." Agent Fowler said and waited for a reply but the one who answered took them all by surprise and shock.

"I'm afraid we can't do that, Agent Fowler. You have something that we want." The person said as they all recognized the voice clearly. It was Silas and his goons, MECH.

"Silas." Emily, Miko and Fowler said at the same time.

Inside the helicopter, Silas smirked when he heard them.

"Greetings, Agent Fowler. I've seen you've called your mighty friends. And some civilians. That's pretty low, even for you." He said with a mocking tone.

Inside Bulkhead, Agent Fowler gripped the walkie talkie angrily.

"Oh really? How about you come down here? Also I can show how low this can get." He retorted back with a scoff.

Inside the helicopter, Silas just rolled his eyes at that with a smirk.

"It's a very tempting offer, Agent Fowler. But I'm afraid I'll have to refuse and give you my counter offer." Silas told him before cutting the communications for the moment.

"Send in our ground troops." He told the pilot who nodded.

"MECH 1. Begin attack." He said as the ones on the vehicles on the road started to speed up.

On the highway, Smokescreen noticed that something was coming towards them.

"Guys, look out. Incoming vehicles." Smokescreen told them as the Autobots and the military soldiers all saw that MECH soldiers were driving in green and black cars and were coming in fast.

They were soon covering every area, the rear, the sides and the front and the Autobots couldn't find a way out as Emily and Miko looked at their sides by the window.

"This doesn't look good." Emily muttered.

"You got that right." Miko agreed with her.

Since this isn't the first time Mech had use this tactic, they were ready for it as they got ready to defend themselves and prevent them from getting the DINGUS

"Alright, guys. Let's show them what we Autobots can do." Smokescreen said but was stopped by Arcee before he could even start retaliating.

"Easy, Smokescreen. Those guys have weapons and technology that can paralyze us." Arcee told him before Optimus started giving orders.

"Autobots, disarm them but be careful. Remember the plan. We must keep them from the cargo at all costs. Do not hurt them." Optimus ordered them.

"We're on it." Cliffjumper said.

Inside the helicopter, the pilot noticed that the Autobots were in a tight formation and it was going to be harder since they seemed to have a plan.

"Sir, the aliens have a tight formation. Our troops can't get close enough to retrieve the DINGUS." The pilot informed Silas as Silas saw this.

"Don't worry. Regardless of what happens. We will get something." Silas said as he knew that they would get something.

On the highway, the mech soldiers were trying to reach the trailer but the Autobots are keeping a very tight formation as they're not about to let a single one of them get to the trailer.

"Is that all they got? This is too easy." Cliffjumper taunted as Arcee was trying to make sure to keep a close eye and was ready to spring into action.

"Less talking, more fighting." Arcee said before starting to launch a counter attack to stop MECH.

Arcee then gets in front of one of the MECH vehicles before she transforms and gives it a front kick. The car was sent into the air making a lot of 360 turns before it hit the ground on the side of the road. After that amazing hit, Arcee transforms back and quickly races back in front as Cliffjumper gets hit on his right side and makes him grunt at that.

"So you wanna play rough? Take this." Cliffjumper said before hitting the MECH vehicle and causing it and the driver to lose control.

At the front, Bumblebee was taking care of some MECH vehicles coming straight for him. He accelerates then hits the brakes and makes a donut to hit them simultaneously and then he starts driving normally as Arcee was impressed.

"Nice work, Bumblebee." Arcee said as Bumblebee whirred in a thank you.

Smokescreen was seen being blocked on both side but he has a plan in mind

"Oh no, I'm blocked. What am I going to do?" Smokescreen said with feign worry as both vehicles tried to hit him but he quickly went into reverse causing both cars to hit each other instead and lose control.

"Haha, got ya." Smokescreen laughed at that and quickly went off to the others to help them.

Bulkhead was getting blocked by two MECH vehicles as he was worried for his passengers.

"Hold on, guys." Bulkhead told them as they did just that as he then hit both cars very hard and sent them out of control as Miko cheered.

"You did it, Bulkhead!" Miko cheered and whooped as Emily gave a thumbs up.

"Way to go." She said with a grin.

"Touchdown baby." Agent Fowler cheered as well before Silas started to speak through the walkie talkie.

"Very impressive, Agent Fowler. Your friends do know how to fight in their vehicle forms." He remarked as Agent Fowler grabbed his walkie talkie.

"That's right, Sy. Seems to me like my team has won the first points and is going in for the touchdown. Here's a tip for you, head coach. Give up now, you're not getting your hands on the DINGUS." Agent Fowler said but Emily started to get a bad feeling like something was about to happen.

In the helicopter, Silas smirks as he had a plan B just in case this happened.

"True that you seem to have the advantage and even if we don't get the DINGUS, we will get something better. And I should thank you for bringing them to me on a silver plate. That's very kind of you. MECH will never forget this great gesture." Silas said with a sadistic smirk on his scarred face.

Inside Bulkhead, the two girls and Agent Fowler didn't like the sound of that.

"What in Sam's Hill are you talking about?" He demanded as he only received a chuckle.

"You're about to find out." Silas told them.

Inside the helicopter, Silas turns to his pilot.

"Bring us closer." He ordered as the pilot nodded and brought the helicopter down.

"Prepare the weapons system." Silas then said.

The pilot prepares the weapons system to shoot at the convoy and the Autobots are standing by to see what's going to happen but they're getting a bad feeling about what was about to happen.

"What are they doing?" Smokescreen asked in confusion.

"Dunno." Cliffjumper said as he didn't like what was about to happen.

"Maintain your positions, Autobots." Optimus told them as he was feeling something bad was about to happen.

In the helicopter, Silas nodded as he looked through his binoculars.

"Do you have the targets in your sight?" He asked the pilot who is also a MECH soldier.

"Yes, sir." He said.

"Open fire." Silas then ordered.

The pilot then shoots a missile that was going straight for the convoy and the trailer. Emily saw that and her eyes widened.

"Missile? Everybody, get out of the way!" Emily yells through the comm link that was on her ear.

Everyone quickly avoids the incoming missile.

"They missed us." Smokescreen said in relief but the missile then turns around and heads straight for them to hit them again.

"I think you spoke too fast." Arcee remarked.

The missile went straight for them but suddenly it opened itself and released tiny discs that got attached onto the Autobots and including the military vehicles which was not a good sign.

Arcee was the first one that got one of those tiny discs stuck to her chassis.

"Whoa!" She almost lost control but regained control.

Bumblebee was the second one, Smokescreen and CliffJumper were next and counting Bulkhead and Optimus and the military vehicles as they were getting a bad feeling from those discs as Miko was worried with Fowler and Emily.

"What are those?" Miko questioned as Emily shook her head.

"Don't know. But I don't like it one bit." Emily said as she was getting a bad feeling about the disks.

"You and me both." Agent Fowler agreed with the two.

In the helicopter, Silas smirked once he saw how the disks were now in place.

"Now let's show them what Mech technology can do. The military vehicles will be a very good example. Start with them. Activate the electro control disks." Silas said as the pilot nodded and activated the electro control disks.

The disks then give him access and full control to the military vehicles every function from the engine to the brakes and soon the military vehicles are all being paralyzed by the electricity released by the tiny discs and it's affecting their vehicles as well.

"What's happening?" A soldier questioned in confusion.

"I don't know but the steering wheel is not even working. Not even the brakes." Another soldier said as he tried to turn the wheel but couldn't.

Inside Bulkhead, Fowler could tell that something was going on as he grabbed his walkie talkie.

"D-Company, what's going on out there?" Agent Fowler questioned.

"We've lost control of our vehicles, sir. We can't steer or brake." A soldier replied as Arcee noticed that.

"Guys, I think those tiny disk thingies are the cause." Arcee informed the group through the radio. Bumblebee whirred and asked how they weren't affected by it.

"Maybe they're still inactive." Smokescreen said with curiosity.

"Let's try to get rid of them." Cliffjumper suggested before he starts driving side to side to get rid of the disks as the others did the same but as much as they were trying, the disks weren't coming off easily.

"It's no use. The disks are stuck into your chassis as if they're magnetized." Emily said through the comm-links as she, Miko and Fowler held on when Bulkhead tried to remove the disk that was on him

"Excellent deduction, young lady." Silas smirked through the walkie talkie as Emily was really gonna shoot his scarred face and give him a new one once this is over.

In the helicopter, Silas started to explain how the disk will work.

"Your friends can try all they want but they will never get free from our new electro control disks. Did you really think we wouldn't be ready for you? We've studied your mighty friends' biology. Every function, every data. We now know how to defeat them. Do it." Silas told them as he nodded to the pilot to activate them as well.

The pilot soon activated the disks that were stuck into the Autobots and they all started getting affected by it and just like the military vehicles, they can't steer or brake no matter how hard they tried to steer.

"Ahhh...! I can't stop!" Arcee strained.

"I can't stop." Cliffjumper said.

"I'm paralyzed." Smokescreen informed them as Bumblebee whirred in worry because he lost control of his driving functions completely.

"I've lost control." Optimus said as he strained to try and regain his controls back.

"My driving functions...! They're blocked!" Bulkhead grunted.

Inside Bulkhead, the three heard the strains and confusions with their friends as Miko looked at Emily who looked really worried.

"What's happening?" Miko asked worriedly.

"The team is being affected by the disks. The electricity has paralyzed them. Now Silas has full control of their engine and driving." Emily told her grimly.

In the helicopter, Silas was impressed that the blond girl that was with the Autobots knew how the disks work.

"Right again, young lady. Now listen, Agent Fowler. This device is called an electro control disk. It allows me to hack a vehicle's every function. I can easily destroy you by blowing the engine. But since you're a reasonable man, I'm going to give you an opportunity. If you agree to surrender and give us the DINGUS, I'll let you and your friends live. If not, I will destroy you all one by one." Silas told him.

Inside Bulkhead, the two girls were worried as the lives of their friends were at stake but there was no way they were going to give the DINGUS to MECH that easily.

"You don't scare me, Silas. Everyone here is willing to give his life so that this device doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Like yours." Agent Fowler growled through the walkie talkie as he was just as worried for his friends like everyone.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Miko whispered in worry.

"Me too." Emily whispered back.

In the helicopter, Silas shook his head in mock disappointment but maybe a demonstration of what the disk can do might make Fowler surrender what they were after.

"Let's put that to the test." He said through the comm-link.

The pilot then makes one of the military vehicles lose control and crash but the drivers of the military vehicle get out quickly before they get hurt.

"Oh no. This is not good." Smokescreen gulped worriedly.

Inside Bulkhead, the girls and Fowler saw that and were shocked but relieved the military soldiers got out quickly.

"How about we try this again? I would consider accepting my offer to surrender before you suffer an unfortunate accident." Silas told them.

"It's gonna take a lot more than this to get the best of us." Fowler told him.

"If I were you, I wouldn't be so confident. The road you're on now is straight. But not too far from here, there's a huge turn." Silas informed them and caused everyone to look ahead of them and from afar, they could see the huge turn that Silas was talking about.

"Oh scrap." Miko and Emily cursed in unison.

"Now since our electro control disks have rendered your friends' brakes completely useless, well..., I think you get the idea. If you keep going like this, you'll crash." Silas laugh evilly.

"You wouldn't dare. If you do this, you'll make the DINGUS have a meltdown." Agent Fowler told him but the three just heard a scoff.

"Which is why I'm giving you a chance to surrender. If you don't, you'll crash. You and your friends won't survive the crash. The DINGUS might but you and your friends will perish. So not only will I get the device but I'll also get a bonus. So what do you say?" Silas told him but Fowler just gripped his walkie talkie.

"You know this will never happen." He sneered at him.

In the helicopter, Silas just shook his head. Their loss. He turned to the pilot and nodded.

"Have it your way." He said as the pilot made two military vehicles lose control and crash very hard on the side of the road.

"Silas, leave the humans out of this." Optimus ordered but it almost sounded like a growl.

In the helicopter, Silas was a little surprised hearing the small growl that accompanied Optimus' voice but he just ignored it.

"An act of great nobility, Optimus Prime. But in war there is no mercy." Silas said as the Autobots were concerned for their comrades and friends.

Inside Bulkhead, Miko was seriously regretting coming along but it's too late to go back to base.

"This is bad. This is really bad." Miko whispered with dread in her voice.

"I know. But don't worry I have an idea. I think I can hack the disks. Agent Fowler, can you try and stall them?" Emily whispered as she pulled down the sleeve of her blue turtle to reveal her bracelet.

"Stall? What for?" Agent Fowler whispered in confusion as she looked at the two.

"To give me time so that I can hack those disks and deactivate them. Please just buy me some time." Emily whispered before she turned on her holo-computer and started to try and hack the electro-disks control.

"Time is running out, Agent Fowler. Please don't make this hard on yourself. Take the right decision. You can still save your men." Silas spoke through the walkie talkie.

"Do your worst, Si. You won't get the Dingus." Agent Fowler told him through the device.

In the helicopter, Silas smirked at that.

"Still stubborn I see. Very well." Silas said as he nodded to the pilot who made the other three military vehicles lose control and crash.

"That guy's a coward. Wait till I get my servos on him." Smokescreen said angrily and he thought Starscream was bad. MECH was even worse.

"Don't lose your cool, kid." Cliffjumper said angrily as he was also just as angry as Smokescreen is.

Inside Bulkhead, Agent Fowler turns to Emily who was typing on her holo-computer.

"Was this part of your plan?" He whispered to her worriedly.

"No but the hacking is going great. I'm already at 30%. Keep going." Emily whispered back as Miko happened to look in front of them.

"Please work fast. The big turn is coming fast." Miko said urgently.

"You should listen to the little girl." Silas said but that was a bad move as Emily and Fowler swore that they saw an anime vein pop up on the side of Miko's forehead.

"Me? A little girl? Give me that." Miko said angrily as Fowler tried to stop her.

"Miko, no-" But he was cut off as Miko grabbed the walkie talkie from him.

"Hey, loser! How dare you call me a little girl?! If you want a piece of me, you're gonna get it, grandpa!" Miko practically yelled through the walkie talkie as Fowler and Emily were glad that they weren't in Silas' shoes cause they will seriously go deaf.

"Oh, dear. This is not gonna end well." Agent Fowler said as he covered his face.

"Agreed. But at least she bought us time." Emily said with a small sheepish laugh.

In the helicopter, Silas had to put distance between himself and the walkie talkie. Who knew that girl had a serious pair of lungs.

"Such insolence. I feel bad for you, Agent Fowler. But not as bad as your men will feel very soon." Silas said as the pilot made another two military vehicles crash.

"Optimus, we have to do something. We can't let Silas hurt the humans." Arcee said as she was worried for the soldiers but most of all Miko, Emily and Fowler.

"I won't allow him to get his hands on a weapon of mass destruction." Optimus replied as he won't let Silas hurt their friends and get his hand on the DINGUS.

Inside Bulkhead, the hacking bar was still incomplete as Emily was staring at it intently.

"Hang in there, guys. We're almost there. The hacking is at 45% and growing." Emily told the bots through the private comm-link.

"I think we already had enough tests in your military vehicles. Time to go for something bigger." Silas said as Miko, Emily and Fowler were worried about what he just said.

Outside on the highway, the Autobots were really worried by now since the huge turn was coming up.

"We gotta do something fast, guys. The huge turn is close. If we crash, we're gonna end up in a junkyard." Smokescreen said worriedly.

Inside Bulkhead, Emily was worried about that too.

"Hang in there, guys. Just a little further." She muttered as she looked at the holo-computer.

Inside the helicopter, a MECH soldier turns to Silas.

"What do we do now, sir?" He asked as Silas knee that they have to take matters into their own hands.

"If you wanna win a battle, you must attack your enemy at its weakest point. Go for the big green. Deactivate the seatbelts." Silas said and the pilot did so without question and deactivated Bulkhead's seatbelts as Miko, Emily and Agent Fowler were confused and were officially worried about what was happening.

"What in the name of Uncle Sam?" Fowler wondered in shock and confusion.

"Bulkhead, why did you take off the seatbelts?" Miko asked her guardian as she was internally freaking out.

"I didn't do anything." Bulkhead said with worry in his voice before realization dawned on Emily's face as her eyes widened.

"Oh no. Silas must have chosen us for his next target." She told them as Miko felt her heart stop at that.

"What's he gonna do? Take us off the road?" Miko questioned only for the answer as Bulkhead's back door on Miko's side was forced open.

The disk then makes Bulkhead turn right and Miko loses her balance and she's about to go off the car much to their shock.

"Miko!" Emily exclaimed as she was shocked.

Emily lost her balance too but luckily she had grabbed the seatbelt and Miko's hand who was holding Bulkhead's door with her other hand as fear was etched in Miko's facial expression.

"Hold on, Miko!" Bulkhead exclaimed worriedly.

"I got you!" Emily shouted as she started to pull Miko back inside but with a struggle.

"Don't let go of my hand!" Miko yelled in fear as she held Emily's hand tightly.

"I won't! Just hold on!" Emily said as she gritted her teeth.

"This is your last chance, Fowler. Surrender now and the little girl won't get hurt." Silas chuckled evilly.

"Human scum! Leave her out of this!" Bulkhead practically yelled loudly through the comm-link as Miko was trying to calm her heart down and Emily was gonna make Silas pay for that.

In the helicopter, Silas just scoffed. He can't allow witnesses to ruin his plan.

"I'm afraid I can't have any witnesses that can ruin my operations. So what's it gonna be? One life? Or a million others?" Silas said as the Autobots were all gonna make Silas pay for endangering their friends.

Inside Bulkhead, Miko and Emily were both in danger.

"Hang in there, Miko! I'll get you out of this!" Emily exclaimed as she held on.

Fowler could not decide. MECH had their fingers pressed on the commands. One wrong move and Miko would come off and possibly get hurt. Everyone was holding their breath, waiting for what would happen when suddenly the helicopter radars started to detect something coming towards them.

"Sir, two bogies are coming in fast." A MECH soldier said as Silas looked alarmed by this.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I don't know, sir. But it looks familiar." He informed him as Silas knew that it had to be the certain group that had been trying to stop them years ago.

"Is it them?" He asked.

"Possibly." The soldier said as Silas was certain that it must be them.

Arcee then sees something coming towards them from her side mirror but she can't identify them if they were a friend or foe.

"Optimus, something's coming. I think I see two vehicles." Arcee informed him as Optimus moved his side view mirror to see that Arcee was right.

"Think they're Decepticons?" Smokescreen asked.

"Dunno. Maybe the humans called for reinforcements." Cliffjumper said as he was tense but Optimus instantly recognized one of them immediately.

"Remain calm, Autobots." Optimus reassured them all as he knew that his message was received by the one he sent the message to.

"They're getting close." Arcee said.

The two mysterious vehicles were coming in fast and were coming into view and they were able to get a good look at them. One of the vehicles looked like some sort of red muscle car with flaming decals and the other was a huge black and green battle vehicle and it looked like a mixture of a 4x4 and a truck.

"What is that?" Cliffjumper asked in confusion.

"I have no idea. But wait." Smokescreen said but did a double take when he saw something particular on the red muscle car and he couldn't help but cheer mentally. It seemed like the car had the Autobot insignia on the hood with the flame designs on it.

"No way! Guys, it's an Autobot!" Smokescreen exclaimed in joy and relieved as the others were surprised by this as well but more relieved.

"An Autobot? Here? No way. What about the other one?" Cliffjumper said in surprise but asked since he didn't recognize the second one.

"It has no insignia. Which means it's not an Autobot or a Decepticon. But I do recognize the red one. I guess someone called him." Arcee said as Bumblebee whirred that maybe MECH had called for backup.

"That's possible." Smokescreen said but he has a feeling that they're the good guys.

In the helicopter, Silas looks through the binoculars and recognizes the other vehicle.

"It's them." Silas said through gritted teeth. How dare they come here of all places.

"What do we do, sir?" A MECH soldier asked as nervousness was in his voice.

"Tell our ground teams to prepare their weapons." Silas ordered with a sneer.

"But, sir, there's a risk of shooting the DINGUS. If it gets damaged, it will cause a meltdown." The soldier said as Silas was ready to punch someone.

"Well, tell them to be careful." Silas practically growled as the soldier saluted without question.

"Yes, sir." He said.

The pilot starts using the comm-link on the MECH soldiers below to tell them to prepare their weapons to attack.

"Ground team. Prepare your weapons to fire at the incoming enemy. But do not shoot the trailer." He told them as the soldiers all shouted 'Yes, sir!'.

The MECH soldiers below were all preparing their weapons to shoot at the mysterious Autobot and the huge battle vehicle.

"Our men are ready." The soldier said as Silas then gave the signal.

"Open fire." He ordered.

The MECH soldiers all started firing at both vehicles who are zigzagging to avoid getting hit and luckily they're attracting the attention of the enemies and leaving the Autobots completely free but since they're still paralyzed by the electro control disks they still can't move.

"Whoever they are, MECH doesn't like them." Cliffjumper said as he noticed how MECH were focusing on the enemies.

"We have to do something before Miko and Emily get hurt." Bulkhead said.

Inside Bulkhead, Miko and Emily were hanging on for dear life.

"Don't worry about me! I'm okay!" Emily exclaimed.

"Yeah, well, I'm not!" Miko said as she continued to hold on.

"It's okay! I got us! And good news, guys! We're almost there. 77% down." Emily said as she glanced at her holo-computer.

"I hope your hack thing is going smoother than this ride." Agent Fowler said before groaning and Emily could have sworn that he looked green.

Agent Fowler was feeling sick as he was trying to hold himself from throwing up.

Meanwhile on the highway, the two mysterious cars were still trying to avoid getting shot before suddenly they started to strike back as the red flaming muscle car started to maneuver like crazy, dodging every shot while the battle vehicle was taking out MECH vehicles off the road left and right.

"Whoa, those guys have some moves." Bulkhead said as he was impressed.

"Speaking of moves. I hope we're gonna get our mobility back soon." Smokescreen said as he was really getting annoyed at not being able to move.

Inside Bulkhead, Miko glanced back and was watching the two vehicles counter attack the MECH while Emily was making sure that she had a tight grip.

"I'm doing what I can, guys!" She said as her holo-computer showed that the hacking process was now at 85%.

Inside the helicopter, Silas watched how his men couldn't even handle the two mysterious vehicles so he decided to strike back.

"Prepare to fire at them." He ordered.

"Yes, sir." A soldier saluted as the pilot prepared the weapon system.

"Should we use the electro control disks on them?" The soldier asked his leader as Silas just frowned.

"No. I think we should use a different approach for them. Do you have them in your sight?" Silas said before questioning as the pilot locked on.

"Yes, sir." He said.

"Then shoot them down. Start with the red car." Silas said.

The pilot then shoots two missiles at the red flaming muscle and surprisingly the mysterious Autobot jumps and avoids the two missiles.

"Wow, that guy is awesome." Smokescreen said in awe.

In the helicopter, Silas was becoming frustrated by how the red car was able to avoid the missiles.

"Shoot him again. But this time try to get in front of him." He ordered.

"Yes, sir." The soldier said before the pilot started to fly the helicopter in front of the red flaming muscle car Autobot as Cliffjumper saw that.

"Guys, I think we're in trouble." Cliffjumper said through the comm-link.

"They're not aiming at us, Cliff." Arcee told him.

"Yeah but they're aiming at that guy. If they miss, we could probably get hit." Cliffjumper said.

Inside Bulkhead, Emily noticed that the hacking process has slowed down.

"Uh, guys. We have a problem. The hacking is slowing down. We're at 89% done." She told them through the comm-link.

"Forget about that hacking thing of yours! Worry about not letting go!" Miko yelled as she was really scared.

"Gee, thanks for reminding me that!" She yelled back sarcastically.

Outside on the highway, the helicopter shot a missile at the red flaming muscle car who avoided it again.

"Keep shooting. Don't stop." Silas said.

The pilot keeps shooting at the red flaming muscle car but the car just keeps avoiding but Team Prime are having hard time but one missile exploded near Bulkhead right side and causing Miko to let go of his door as she let out a yelp of shock and fear and now she could only hang herself from Emily's hand.

"Miko!" Bulkhead exclaimed worriedly.

"Ahhhh! Don't let go of my hand!" Miko yelled as she held Emily's hand as Emily grunted.

"I got you!" She said as she kept a grip on Miko's hand.

A rip inside Bulkhead was heard and Emily saw that the seatbelt was about to break.

"Uh oh, we have a problem." She said as she glanced at her holo-computer as it beeped and showed that the hacking process was almost done.

"Yes! The hacking is going fast!" Emily said as Miko gave Emily a look.

"Forget about that! Worry about keeping us alive!" Miko yelled as Emily yelped as the seatbelt tugged slightly due to the rip.

"What's it look like I'm doing?! I'm the one grabbing the seatbelt!" Emily yelled back but the seatbelt started to rip more.

"Although not for long." She said as she gulped.

"Look out!" Arcee shouted as the missiles that missed started hitting the road near TEAM prime.

The red flaming muscle car is doing a great job on not getting hit by using his maneuvers but this stops when two vehicles hit him in one of his maneuvers and this leaves the huge battle vehicle to go off against the helicopter that Silas is riding.

"Now it's just you and us. Destroy them." Silas glared at the battle vehicle.

The pilot then tries to fire but the weapons system isn't working since it's as if it was blocked by some frequency.

"Sir, our weapons are offline." The pilot informed him.

"What?" Silas questioned.

Outside on the highway, the Autobots were confused that MECH weren't firing at the truck.

"Why aren't they shooting at that huge truck?" Smokescreen asked through the comm links.

"Maybe they're working together." Cliffjumper said as they saw that the battle vehicle started to accelerate.

"Raise us up." Silas quickly ordered.

The pilot flew the helicopter up but the battle vehicle quickly released grappling cables to hold the helicopter down and prevent it from escaping.

"What? Whoa!" Silas said in shock as the helicopter jolted slightly.

The grappling cables had a strong grip on the helicopter as the pilot tried to control the flying but it was too hard.

"Guess they caught a big one." Cliffjumper joked but was interrupted when Bumblebee whirred at them when he saw that they were getting close to the huge turn.

"Bee's right. Turn is close and we still can't move." Arcee said.

Inside Bulkhead, the hacking only five more percent to go.

"We're almost there. Just 95% done." Emily told them.

Outside on the highway, the battle vehicle was still holding the helicopter with the grappling cables.

"Shoot now." Silas ordered as the pilot fired two missiles and hit the battle vehicle hard.

The grappling cables let go of the helicopter and the drivers of the battle vehicle had lost control and got taken off the road but the huge turn was dead ahead and the Autobots weren't able to move yet.

"Uh oh, we're in trouble. Big turn dead ahead." Cliffjumper said in worry.

Inside Bulkhead, the seatbelt Emily was grabbing onto was about to give way but luckily the hacking was already at 100% by then.

"Yes. We're at 100%." Emily smiled but frowned when she realized something.

Now that Emily had hacked the electro control disks, all she had to do was deactivate them but she couldn't do it because she had her both hands busy.

"Oh no. I can't deactivate the disks!" Emily said in worry.

"What? Why not?" Agent Fowler asked in confusion as Emily gave him a look over her shoulder.

"I think the answer is pretty obvious!" She exclaimed.

The only way to deactivate the Disks and save Team Prime to avoid the DINGUS having a meltdown was to press the 'YES' icon and to do that Emily had realized that she would have to take an enormous yet calculated risk. She would have to let go of the cracking seatbelt in order to press the confirm button.

"Uh, Miko, I know you're gonna hate me for what I'm about to do and just so you know I'm sorry." Emily said as she looked at Miko as she looked at her in confusion. What was Emily sorry for?

"What are you saying?" Miko asked worriedly and her answer was clear when Emily answered her.

"I'm saying I'm gonna have to let go." Emily said and both Fowler and Bulkhead were shocked.

"What?!" The two asked in shock.

"Are you crazy?!" Miko exclaimed.

"It's the only way to help the team!" Emily told her seriously.

Outside on the highway, Optimus heard the conversation and was equally shocked with the others. He can't let the two get hurt.

"Do not take this risk, Emily. It's too dangerous." He told her through the comm-link and hoped to change her mind.

Inside Bulkhead, Emily was worried but if she doesn't do it now, the DINGUS will cause a meltdown.

"I know, Optimus. But there's no other way around. Just follow the plan. We'll catch up with you later, guys. Miko, I'm gonna let go in 3." Emily reassured him before turning to Miko.

"Are you serious?!" Miko questioned her in shock.

"Yes! It's the only way to help the team! 1." Emily said before starting to count.

"Don't you dare!" Miko exclaimed.

"2." Emily continued.

"No, no, no, don't let go! Don't let go!" Miko pleaded with her.

"3." Emily then let go as both Emily and Miko let out screams of shock and fear.

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" They both screamed loudly as Agent Fowler couldn't do anything but watch in shock.

Everything went into slow motion as Emily let go of Miko's hand and quickly deactivated the electro control disks giving back the Autobots their free mobility. After that, she had pressed her brooch and turned into her Quake element. Everything returns back to normal motion as she starts using Roll Out to cover herself along with Miko in a huge rock boulder. The two started to roll off the road. They could faintly hear Bulkhead screaming their names as they disappeared through the treeline.

"EMILY!!!!! MIKO!!!!!" Bulkhead yelled loudly but it was too late as the two girls were out of sight.

"Bulkhead, focus on the mission." Optimus told him but he was also deeply saddened and shocked that Emily did it to save them.

"Everyone, hit the brakes!" Smokescreen yelled through the comm-links.

The Autobots all hit the brake to be able to make the turn but the trailer started to go off course. Both Smokescreen and Cliffjumper quickly transformed and held the trailer to make sure it went back on the right course and when they were done, they transformed back and caught up with the others.

The helicopter had a good view on them but they could not keep up with them.

"Shall we follow them, sir?" The pilot asked as Silas shook his head.

"No, we cannot keep up with them. Tell our ground teams to move out to the rendezvous point. It's time for a new plan." Silas said.

The helicopter soon left the place and the Autobots had escaped along with the mysterious red flaming muscle car following them.

Meanwhile Emily and Miko were still rolling but luckily they soon came to a stop while the boulder shattered from them got off them as both girls were laying down on the ground and panting heavily.

"You okay?" Emily asked as she sat up in her Quake form.

"Yeah... I'm okay... Just don't you ever do that again. Ever. You got that?!" Miko said as she yelled the last part as Emily leaned back slightly.

"Yeah, I heard you." She said as Miko stood back up.

"This is just great. We're completely lost." Miko said as she noticed they were surrounded by trees.

"Looks like it." She said before Miko noticed something coming towards them.

"Hey, look." Miko said as she pointed to something that was coming their way.

"It must be Bulkhead." Miko said but Emily narrowed her eyes and noticed that the color and shape wasn't Bulkhead.

"I don't think so." She said and with a closer look, she saw that it was the mysterious battle vehicle from earlier.

"Uh oh, it's not Bulkhead. Run!" Emily said before yelling as both she and Miko started to run.

The battle vehicle stops in front of them and blocks their path. Suddenly some weird people with orange goggles, black hoods and weapons came out and started aiming at both Emily and Miko.

"Don't move. Stay where you are." One of the hooded people said as Emily stood in front of Miko.

"Hey, back off!" Emily said as she narrowed her eyes.

The weird guys with the hoods soon taze both Emily and Miko to put them to sleep as they let out yelps of surprise and pain and soon both girls fell on the ground completely unconscious. After that, other weird people came out to see what had happened as the two seemed to be the ones in charge of the group.

"What should I do with them?" The person standing next to the leader asked.

"Bring them to our HQ for interrogation. Make sure they're tied up and blindfolded. They're probably working for the enemy and we can't let them see where we are." The leader said in the male voice.

"Yes, sir." The soldier said as two of them picked up both Miko and Emily and put them inside the battle vehicle as it drove off somewhere.
