Meanwhile back at the base things were rather calm for most parts. Raf was playing a round of video games while Miko was tuning her guitar. Ratchet seems to be getting really worried about Emily And Arcee who haven't reported or contacted the base yet.
"This is weird." Ratchet muttered to himself as he was by the computer and monitoring their two friends who haven't returned yet.
"What is it, Ratchet?" Bulkhead asked as he looked up as Miko stopped her guitar playing and Raf paused his video game.
"Emily and Arcee haven't reported back yet." Ratchet told them as his voice held worry for Arcee and Emily.
"What?" The trio asked in confusion but were growing worried as Ratchet typed something on the computer and was able to locate where the two were.
"Yes of course. I can see where they are." Ratchet smiled as he worked on the computer and was able to find the location.
He was able to pinpoint where Arcee was but the strange thing was that Emily's signal wasn't showing.
"Strange, I was able to locate Arcee's position but not Emily's." Ratchet continued on trying to find their friend but the results weren't showing and was getting even more worried.
"That doesn't sound good." Bulkhead said as Miko and Raf looked at each other worriedly. What was going on? What happened to Emily?
The entrance to the base opened up and Bumblebee and Smokescreen, who met up with them earlier when Arcee and Emily went on a patrol, came in with Jack coming out of Smokescreen's alt mode and allowing both bots to transform to their robot forms.
"I'm here. Arcee, ready for that ride? Arcee? Where's Arcee?" Jack looked around in confusion and noticed that two of their friends weren't present at the moment.
"She and Emily went to scout ahead and they haven't called back. Maybe something is blocking her signal." Miko told Jack who nodded since he always noticed that Arcee cares for Emily like a mother to their child.
"We could try calling her." Raf looks at Miko who brightened up and took out her phone as they clearly remember that Emily will answer after the first ring.
"Good idea. Let me try." Miko dialed Emily's number and it started to ring. But after the ring, the second and third, Miko hung up and looked up to them as she had worry in her eyes.
"No answer. This is bad. Emily always answers her phone." Miko grew even more worried as she was having a bad feeling of what might have happened but she tried to think clearly and thought that Emily might be just doing something but the situation is worrisome.
"Maybe something bad happened to her and the same thing might've happened to Arcee." Jack said as he was worried for both of his friends and guardian.
Optimus walked in after hearing what was going on and was worried. He knows that Emily could protect herself with Arcee but he just can't help but worry about them both and their safety.
"Jack is right. Arcee and Emily might be in a dire situation. We must go help them." Optimus agreed to what Jack said and knew that they needed to head out to look for them.
"Count me in, sir." Smokescreen volunteered as Bumblebee told him about Emily and who she was and this almost made Smokescreen to almost drive off the road from shock.
"Uploading coordinates and activating the ground bridge. Raf, standby in case we need to reopen the portal." Ratchet typed in the code to the location and activated the portal as the ground bridge lit up while giving Raf instruction.
"Roger that." Raf nodded as he, Jack and Miko were on the railings as the Autobots were facing the portal.
"Autobots, roll out!" Optimus ordered his teammates as they nodded.
Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Smokescreen and Optimus all transformed and drove through the portal until they disappeared and left the kids to watch the base and hope that they find their friends soon. The portal opened up on their precise location that was provided by the coordinates of the ground bridge, they then transformed back into their robot forms and Bulkhead instantly recognized where they were.
"Autobots, disperse and try to locate our friends." Optimus told them as they split into pairs except Optimus as they started their search.
The Autobots disperse into pairs and try to find Arcee and Emily but so far nothing has been found.
"Nothing here." Bulkhead said as he looked behind some rocks that might have served a hiding place.
"Keep looking. There must be something." Smokescreen said as they continued their search. Bumblebee happened to look up and noticed a familiar vehicle.
Bumblebee beeps while pointing his digit at something and they look up and see it as well. It seems to be Emily's motorcycle. Smokescreen went towards it and saw the sticker of the name on it to confirm the owner of the motorcycle.
"That's Emily's motorcycle. She would never leave it behind like this. Something's not right." Smokescreen picked the bike up in his servo and came back down to Bulkhead and Bumblebee as Bulkhead contacted Optimus to tell him of their find.
"Optimus, we found Emily's motorcycle. But still no sign of her." Bulkhead informed their blue and red leader through their comm links as Bulkhead started to grow even more worried. Where was Emily and Arcee?
"Understood, Bulkhead. Keep looking." Optimus replied back as he continued to look for places that Emily or Arcee could have hidden as Ratchet has his tracker with him.
Ratchet is using his tracker to try and track Arcee's life signal. He was able to find Arcee's signal but it was weak. Something must've happened to Arcee.
"I've detected Arcee's life signal. It's weak but it's just up ahead." Ratchet told him as they quickly headed in the direction Ratchet pointed.
They both were able to find Arcee on the ground and noticed that she was hurt and in pain as they quickly went to help her up as the others arrived and became concerned for her. Ratchet then used his scan to see if she's alright and found noticeable dents and scratches and scars.
"Arcee, are you okay?" Ratchet asked her in worry as Bumblebee helped her up but she had to lean against him for support.
"I'm... okay... Where's... Emily?" Arcee asked them weakly and they became even more worried. Wasn't Emily with Arcee? But if Emily isn't with Arcee, what could've happened?
"We haven't found her yet." Ratchet told Arcee gravely as her vision was getting blurry.
"Airachnid..." She muttered the name before fainting in exhaustion and pain. Bumblebee carefully picked her up in his arms as they looked worried.
"Optimus, Arcee needs medical aid. We must bring her back to the base. Raf, open the ground bridge." Ratchet told Optimus before contacting Raf to open up the ground bridge. Arcee needs their help. They'll have to come back to continue to look for Emily.
Back at the base, Raf typed in the coordinates of their Cybertronian friends and opened up the portal for them
"Ground bridge activated." Raf said as he, Jack and Miko watched the portal open up.
The Autobots came in through the bridge with Arcee in Bumblebee's arms and Emily's motorcycle in Smokescreen's servos. Jack became even more worried and concerned as he noticed the state Arcee was in.
"Arcee!" Jack exclaimed worriedly as he came down the railing and went to Bumblebee who beeped as Raf translated that Arcee is okay.
"She's alright, Jack, do not worry. I'll take care of her." Arcee stirred and woke up to find herself back at the base. Bumblebee set her down on the berth as Ratchet started to treat her injuries as the others watched on worriedly.
"I'm okay, Ratchet." Arcee told their medic but Ratchet knew she wasn't.
"No you're not. Not yet. I have to fix you up." Ratchet continues to help Arcee as Optimus comes up and Arcee sees the deep worry in his optics.
"Arcee, what happened?" Optimus asked in concern as Arcee winced slightly but started to tell them what happened earlier.
"Emily and I were scouting before I took her to the place where we found the Polarity Gauntlet. And then... that's when she appeared." Arcee had this look in her optics and Jack instantly knew who she was referring to.
"Who?" Bulkhead asks as they have to go back to find Emily before she gets even more hurt.
"Airachnid. She came with some Decepticons. I told Emily to get to safety while I engaged them all but... they knocked me down. Did you find her?" Arcee then asks them worriedly as Bulkhead and Jack look at each other, remembering when they met Airachnid.
Bumblebee beeped sadly as he shook his head, telling her that they haven't found Emily yet.
"No... we only found this." Bulkhead said as Smokescreen showed Arcee Emily's motorcycle that they found.
"That's her motorcycle... Did you try to contact her?" Arcee looked to their human friends as she was starting to realize what happened and was getting worried even more.
"We tried calling her." Miko said since she has been trying to call Emily with her phone with no luck.
"But there's no answer." Raf replied as shock and fear set upon Arcee's face-plates.
"How come you didn't find her? She didn't just disappear unless... It was a trap. Airachnid wanted me to fight her troops while she could capture Emily behind my back! How could I let her fool me like this?" Arcee slammed her fist on the berth she was on. She shouldn't have let Airachnid fool her. She already lost both Tailgate and Cliffjumper, she couldn't afford to lose Emily as well to the one who scarred her.
"Worrying won't solve anything." Optimus said as he was also more worried. If Airachnid has their friend, they have to find Emily quickly before it's too late.
"But, Optimus, we should worry. From what we know, Airachnid has Emily and it's probably on her way to Megatron!" Jack exclaimed worriedly as he was fearing for Emily's safety since they all knew, minus the Cons and Emily, the truth and origins of Emily's past.
"If Megatron gets his hands on her..." Raf said gravely as he trailed off and was honestly scared for Emily.
"We're done for. Game Over." Miko finished for him as she was extremely worried for Emily who she saw as a sister.
"I agree, we must get her back before she's taken to Megatron." Optimus knew that they had to act now before it's too late.
"I'll come with you." Arcee tried to sit up but collapsed on the berth with a groan of pain.
"Ep yep yep yep... You're not in any conditions to battle. Not yet." Ratchet told her. As much as he wants to come along on the mission, he has to stay to treat Arcee first.
"I can't just stay here and do nothing. Airachnid got Emily. I won't let her touch her." Arcee insisted but when she looked at Optimus, she knew that she had to stay behind to recuperate.
"Arcee, right now you must stay here and let Ratchet give you proper medical aid." Optimus told her as she tried to stand up but was still weak.
"Optimus, you know what she did. What she's capable of." Arcee told him as he was the only one who knew what happened to Arcee's first encounter with Airachnid.
"I know but right now you can't let your own anger cloud your judgment. We will bring her back." Optimus told her but reassured her that they will indeed bring Emily back safely.
"Wait, Optimus. Let us come with you." Jack told him as Miko and Raf stepped up beside him. Arcee looked shocked at this and grew even more worried. She can't lose both Jack and Emily to the one who took Tailgate away from her.
"Jack, no. It's too dangerous." Arcee tried to stop him.
"Yes, I know but Emily is our friend. I know she wouldn't want us to risk our life but I know she would do the same for us." They saw his point as Team Prime remembered her first battle with Megatron and the cons and how she volunteered to go to the Mariana Trench despite the danger.
"Jack's right. She's our friend." Raf agreed with Jack as determination on rescuing Emily was in their eyes.
"And we're gonna bring her back." Miko pumped her fist in the air to show that they want to help save Emily.
Optimus looked at them worriedly with hesitance before Smokescreen spoke up when he saw their determination.
"They could help us. We can distract Airachnid while they rescue Emily." Smokescreen told their leader as Optimus saw their point and nodded.
"Very well. Ratchet, set the coordinates and open the ground bridge." Optimus told him as the medic went to the ground bridge operator and set the coordinates down and opened the ground bridge up as the Autobots and their human friends walked towards it.
"Good luck." Ratchet said as he gave them a nod as Optimus nodded back.
"Bring her back." Arcee added as Bumblebee beeped that they will bring Emily back.
"We will. Autobots, roll out!" Optimus nodded to Arcee.
Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Smokescreen run through the portal as Jack, Miko and Raf are about to follow them. But before they left, Jack went to comfort Arcee and to reassure her that they will be back safely.
"Don't worry, Arcee. Everything will be fine." Jack reassured her as Arcee looked at him with a small smile but worry was in her optics.
"Be careful, Jack. I don't wanna lose you too." Arcee warns him as Jack understands that she can't lose anyone again.
"I know." Jack nodded as he went back to Miko and Raf.
The three kids gave their two friends a nod before Jack, Miko and Raf went through the portal to follow the others and to save their friend from the hands of Airachnid before it's too late.
