Gem Atkinson woke up and habitually rubbed his forehead.
Although he had some memory loss from last night, he clearly remembered that Forsythia Brown accompanied him home.
He looked around and thought, "Well, not bad, at least there's some conscience. Even though it's a guest room, at least she got me onto the bed, right? She didn't just throw me on the ground and leave me there."
If his estimations were correct, she must have fed him soup to sober him up, otherwise, why wouldn't he have a headache from the hangover?
He got up, washed up, and went to the kitchen to see: "Mm, getting more and more conscientious. She even prepared food for him to heat up."
Just as he was about to eat, his phone rang.
He picked it up and saw "Fred Andrews" displayed on the screen. He lazily asked, "What's up?"
Then, the man's eyebrows almost shot up, his face darkened, and he put down the food and hurried out of the house.
