Chapter 4 - A woman with a beautiful gaze

Javier had just finished chairing the morning's meeting. He stood up, all the employees looking at him seriously.

He was only twelve years old. When he had inherited all his wealth from his parents who died suddenly in a tragic plane crash. Now, at the age of 27, He is the most successful CEO in his country.

Javier is a very cold person, not only is his face cold, but his behavior is the same. He does not hesitate to fire all employees who he thinks are not in accordance with his thoughts. His employees named him 'The Himalayan Man"' because if they made the slightest misstep, they would fall straight into the abyss.

Javier came out of the meeting room. The employees immediately breathed a sigh of relief, as if they had been in a tiger cage. Javier walked steadily into his room. Assistant Howard followed him faithfully from behind. All the employees saluted him, but Javier didn't seem to see them.

Living alone since the age of twelve has made him a person who rarely smiles. The only person who can make him smile is only Helena, and Helena has also left him.

He opened the door to his workspace, very luxurious with glass walls that presented the entire city view which was very beautiful to look at. Unfortunately even Javier never looked at him again.

Javier is a work holic. Since Helena's death, his life no longer has a purpose. So he just vents it by working. He sat in his work chair. Staring very coldly at the reports that were given.

"Sorry sir, I'm interrupting," Assistant Howard said.

"Yes, what is up?" Javier said.

"The hospital called earlier, they said that Miss Helena was conscious."

Javier stopped, he seemed to think.

"When my free time is coming?" said Javier again.

"As of this afternoon your schedule is full," Assistant Howard said.

"Oh, OK, Schedule me to the hospital after all of this work," Javier said.

"Tonight, the royal envoy invites you to meet."

"Cancel it, I told you I wouldn't want anything to do with the royal family," Javier said.

"Yes sir," Assistant Howard said quickly withdrawing.

The city was indeed once ruled by a king. But over time and time, the kingdom no longer interfered in government affairs. But they had special rights that were given because considering they were the ruling family in the past, and Javier had blood descended from the kingdom. His grandfather was the crown prince who for some reason left the throne and the kingdom. So technically speaking he is a prince.

That afternoon Javier just wanted to get out of his room. He wanted to get ready to meet the woman in the hospital. He was just about to stand up when someone suddenly entered his room. Of course, he didn't like that.

"Good afternoon Mr. Javier Handerson Knight," said the man approaching Javier.

Javier frowned, he never used his full name anywhere? How could this man know?

"Don't you have any manners? Enter someone's room without permission?" Javier said coldly.

"I'm sorry, but the situation is urgent," said the man urgently.

"Who are you?" said Javier again.

"My name is Paul a royal servant," said Paul politely.

"Haven't you been warned by my assistant? I don't want anything to do with the royal family," Javier said coldly.

"But sir, after all your great-grandfather was King Dexter. His Majesty wanted to see you, things are getting worse," Paul explained.

"That's none of my business. My family has left the royal circle, and I have no interest in returning to the kingdom, and sorry, I have to go," said Javier standing up and leaving the royal family envoy.

Javier immediately went to the car that was waiting for him. The car quickly took him to the hospital. As soon as he arrived, the entire hospital staff lined up to greet him. But Javier thought it was just a passing wind.

Howard then took him to Helena's room. Howard quickly opened the door for Javier. Javier made a gesture for Howard to wait outside. He entered alone, the door closed by Howard.

Javier entered slowly, looked at the bed, the girl was still asleep, he looked at her.

"How did this girl even sleep when I came?" He thought he was used to being greeted everywhere.

The woman doesn't look too pale anymore. Her small lips have started to turn red. If you look closely at this, it turns out that the woman is very beautiful. Her face is heart-shaped with white skin as smooth as a layer of snow. Her eyebrows are thick and neatly arranged, her eyelashes are very thick. Her nose is sharp. Beautifully sculpted and her lips like rose petals. Javier was quite amazed to see her beauty.

Maybe she felt someone was watching, the woman opened her eyes slowly. Javier was silent, he was stunned to see the woman's eyeballs. He just saw eyeballs like that. This girl has two different eyecolors. Her right eye is light brown, while her left eye is sapphire blue.

The girl stared very blankly as if her two eyes were telling the story of the sadness in them. Javier continued to stare at her.

"What's your name?" Javier said in his deep and still cold tone.

The woman just stared, as if she had no desire to answer Javier. Javier frowned, a little impatient that the woman seemed to ignore him.

"You don't want to answer or are you mute?" Javier said again.

But the girl didn't move. She just looked away. No one had ever done that to Javier, especially a girl. He was handsome, very handsome, and usually, girls would be mesmerized by him, countless women have tried to seduce him. For these two years, but not this girl, she instead considered Javier a breeze.

Javier who felt neglected was immediately annoyed. He then turned and left, when he came out with an annoyed face, the entire staff there stiffened. Howard was scared.

"Call the doctor who treated her to my room," Javier said, then left the place and headed towards his office. One of the doctors there immediately turned pale.

Javier immediately sat in his private room in the hospital, not long after the doctor came.

"Good evening Mr. Javier," said the doctor.

"Explain to me the situation?" Javier said, didn't even see the doctor who was struggling with sweat.

"Miss Helena's condition is stable, she is recovering very well, even I think she could come to this is a miracle, her condition is really on the verge of death, but only a few days, she recovered as if she was never in a critical period," said the Doctor again.

"Miracle?" Javier said looking at the doctor. Javier never believed in miracles, if there was miracle, he wanted his parents to be safe in the accident. If miracles existed, he wanted miracles to lead him to Helena.

"Yes, as if he was the one who healed herself. Our help was just trying to keep her alive, unexpectedly she can even sit and stand now without any obstacles".

"What about his eyes?"

"He has a rare disorder called Heterochromia Iridium, it could be due to genetic and hereditary disorders, it has nothing to do with this accident, she has had it since birth, but ...." The doctor was cut off.

"But what?" Javier said watching the doctor carefully.

"I think she is seriously depressed, she doesn't want to talk, she is also often pensive, I don't think she wants to be saved," said the doctor again.

"What do you mean?" said Javier.

"Miss Helena did intend to kill herself, she was at sea because she wanted to end her own life, that's why when she woke up, she started crying," said the doctor again.

Hearing the name of Helena spoken by the doctor, Javier was not happy. moreover, he said that Helena doesn't want to be saved. His thoughts flew to his Helena, what if she was found, she also did not want to be saved?

"A person who is depressed and has already attempted suicide, the possibility of doing it again will exist," said the Doctor again.

Javier stared at the doctor coldly, staring at him for a long time, making the doctor nervous.

"Come out, and keep her from doing another stupid thing," said Javier

"Yes sir," said the doctor, he could breathe easier now.

Javier was still sitting and his mind wandering. He remembered the look in the woman's eyes, so beautiful but also painful. For some reason that gazes pierced him, it felt like the woman was sharing her sadness with just her gaze.
