Sitting at the kitchen table, Claira watched Diego walking behind her father, following him with un hurried, disinterested steps. She knew her father wouldn't do anything to him, he wasn't exactly a monster, her father had let Diego stay with them as a guest, instead of down in the cells. Turning her head back to Knox, Claira cleared her throat. Knox and Martha were both watching her confused and upset in there eyes, well at least Knox. Martha was smiling warmly at her, and continued to clean, putting dishes in the cabinets as she went along.
Claira looked down at her plate, while she picked at her french toasts with a fork, she very much wanted to follow her father and Diego, if only to be a buffer if anything happened but she knew better. She tried to connect with Diego, but all she felt with a black wall, he was blocking her out.
