They had only been practicing for about half an hour, when John twisted and leapt from his spot in front of Claira, to stand be hind her and in a fluid motion kicked one leg from out under her, while wrapping his arm around her waist from behind, and bending her backwards. Claira tried to move but couldn't, and if it weren't for John's arm around her body holding her up she would have landed flat on her back. She was breathing heavily, sweat beaded on her forehead, and her balance was off. Claira shook her head looking up at John, his eyes were a deep gold, almost a dark brown while he watched her, a large smile on his face. John wasn't breathing heavy at all, he did have a little sweat but not like Claira, she must be out of shape.
"Close little sister, but no dice." John winked at her just before he let her go completely.
