"Hey," Jason said, taking hold of Lauren's hand.
In reflex, she had pulled him over her shoulder, slamming him hard on the cold floor.
She gasped on seeing who she had tossed down to the ground.
Lauren needed not to be told that her teammates left her already.
"Sh*t!" Jason muttered, his back aching badly in pain.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were behind me" Lauren said, surprised at her genuine concern.
"Did I just apologise?" She puzzled
"Pretty sure you did," Jason said as she offered him her hand to help him up. He took her help graciously, standing on his feet.
"That hurts," Jason admits, straightening his back.
"I didn't toss you that hard" Lauren shrugged
"Am guessing I'm in luck?" He smiled
Lauren exhaled; she had to put an end to it.
"What you did? Back there? It's cool" he admits, a small smile on his lips.
