"Why do you want to leave?" Kat asked
"Is something wrong? Why do you want to leave?" Simi asked
Lauren groaned; what are we talking about??
"I'm not leaving the agency! I'm saying if you could leave, what would you do?" She asked
"Since when have you been interested in something like that?"Simi asked
"Since our last mission? Leaving this hellhole is at the top of my list" Lauren snapped
"You're tired of being an agent" Kat reasoned
"I would take the offer to work for the CIA," she said, getting out of her straining position.
She needed a drink.
"If your profile here is really good, the CIA would be glad to have you on their team." Simi reasoned
Lauren opened the can and took a gulp of it; nobody understands her question.
"You all are blockheads" she muttered
"Ouch?" Simi frowned
"Whatever"
Lauren pulled the sliding door aside, staring at the pool with a look of confusion.
