After my date finished some time had passed, I spent my time doing my duties and attending some of the classes that has been assigned to this body before such as poetry and embroidery lessons.
Today I was taking a stroll in the garden when Cheng Chin rushed over towards me with a wide smile.
"My lady I have found a cauldron maker" Cheng Chin beamed excitedly, a while ago I had asked Cheng Chin to find me a large cauldron maker. Along with asking her to get me a few stranged ingredients, I dunno much about witchcraft but I will try my best to understand this body's ability and capabilities.
Feeling somewhat happy I quickly asked "Did the craftsmen agree to make my cauldron?" my stomach turned into dozens of knots thinking about Cheng Chin's answer. Cheng Chin Simply nodded her head before furrowing her brows "The craftsmen said they wanted to ask you in person what are your plans for such a big cauldron" she stated with disdain filling her eyes.
I am no stranger to that look, a lot of women back in Lutum gave me the very same look once I got engaged with the prince, they loath me but that was in the past. Now I am a natural-born royalty that has to avoid all of her doom flags and on top of that, I need to reach the god of this world's expectations!
"I'll meet with them but they will have to come to me" I stated in a composed manner getting rid of that giddy expression. Cheng Chin nodded her head "I will go and informed the craftsmen, please excuse this lowly maid" Cheng Chin scurried off.
I stretched my lazy limbs a bit and engaged in a small chat with Angel "Angel what's your god's goal by keeping this body alive?" Angel's expression didn't waver for a second. He just smiled "That is for you to find out my child" he replied softly.
Getting up from my desk I put away all of my unsigned documents and left my signed ones on my desk so that my eunuch can take them. A yawn escaped from my lips "It's the perfect time to get some exercise done, don't you think?" Angel nodded his head happily.
The sun had begun to set hiding behind the old buildings of Qaihing great capital city, the setting sun glared beautifully over my flower garden. The purple and white flowers had different beauty about them slowly but surely the sun had set.
I walked to a space where no individual would bother thinking of looking, the flower hedges covered my every side, the long blue spear moved smoothly around in the space. Panting lightly I practice on my footwork while constantly moving my spear, putting my foot at a titled angle I blocked an invisible opponent.
After blocking and attacking the nonexistent enemy I put my beautiful spear away into my storage ring and wiped the beads of sweat off of my head. That's when I noticed a pure white moth flutter towards me and landed on my outstretched arm.
"Hey, there little fella why did you come to me I'm not a lamp" staring at the pure white moth that looks fluffier than a cloud, it filled my heart with warmth. I tore my gaze away from the extremely cute fluffy white moth to look at the sky "What in the why is there a white cloud coming for me?!" I shouted out in alarm; the little white mouth didn't seem to bother and stayed on my arm.
Biting my lower lip with my thoughts swirling "To run or not to run is the question?" quoting a line from a famous dead guy from my world, I took another glance at the white fog. "Let's go little moth before whatever that is gets us!" I chose the former and ran back into my pavilion with the white moth that was somehow still on my arm.
Bang! Bang!
Whatever is that white fog doesn't sound too please about me getting away and hopefully I won't get reincarnated again. My slender legs carried me throughout my pavilion to find a good hiding place to hide. I ended up finding myself in the kitchen, thinking quickly I climbed into a cupboard, and slowed my breathing.
BANG!
The sound of a large chunk of wood being burst into millions of splinters echo throughout the pavilion "CHIRP!" thousands of chirping sounds cause me to lose focus and almost fall over. My eyesight blurred, for a brief moment, the pavilion became quiet.
Curious I peeked my head out of the kitchen cardboard everything is white "Wait! no!" a desperate scream left my lips, soon enough I got dragged out of the cardboard and covered head to toe with white moths.
I tried to pray them off but it was no use I couldn't even move my arms much less a finger, with a chirp they carried me out of the pavilion and into the night. Wiggling the best I could after hours of trying to get free fatigued sets in forcing my tired body to rest.
The next time I came to a ponding ache harassed my sculpt, placing my hand on where the part hurts to try and figure out what causing the aching pain. A small lump or from what I could tell from feeling around, did those moths drop me on my head or something and where am I?
Paying attention to my surrounding I noticed that I am inside a lavishly decorated room the ceiling is made of glass revealing the almost full moon "That's right tomorrow will be the full moon" I uttered under my breath.
Looking around another thing that I notice is that this room is covered in dust and that the floor looks strangely similar to the formations that I make when absorbing the moon essence, all eight phases of the moon are present.
Below the eight moon phases are the different types of moons the blue moon, blood moon, harvest moon, and supermoon. The blue moon is a bright blue color and is usually a full moon but that won't be this year's moon, the blood moon is when the barriers between the human and spirit realm weaken allowing beasts from their dimensions to escape here.
Then we have the harvest moon, it happens every year in autumn it grants great benefits to crops. The harvest moon is brown with a tinge of yellow. The super moon is when the moon looks abnormally large, its pearl white. The super moon orbits closer to the planet during the late moon phases.
Who would've thought my knowledge about moons would become useful in my next life? Snapping myself out of my thoughts I look around again to see if I could spot Angel. To no avail, I didn't even spot a single feather.
Shakily rising to my feet I wander through the strange building, I checked every room just to find dust-covered furniture but a well-designed room nonetheless. That's when I stumbled into an open space room that has a large statue of a man hugging a moon-like it was hugging a small child.
The statue looked otherworldy with great detail the man is carved from a type of light graystone and the moon that he is holding in his embrace is carved from a different material altogether. Walking around the large statue I saw a familiar three pairs of wings "Angel where are we" out of all of the questions that were rushing through my mind I chose this one.
Angel smiled faintly and got off of his knees, in front of him an essence burned "We are in the moon god's temple" he replied curtly.
He waltzes over and grabs my hand to drag me who knows where "I was ordered by my god to bring me here once you have gotten stronger but never would I've thought the moths would act of their own accord" he stated plainly in a gentle tone.
"Are you the angel of the moon god?" I asked feeling confused, Angel just smile enduringly at me.
He opens his mouth to speak "There are some things I cannot tell you yet."
