Zhi An finished packing but he didn't see Yue Yue coming so he asked everyone else to go on the van first while he looks for her. He tried calling her but no one picked it up. It was not until he saw her phone lying on the ground in the hallway. He banged on her door but no one answered. He yelled her name but no one replied.
Xiao Xia looked at the time and noticed there isn't too much time left. She still hasn't seen Commander Li or Yue Yue yet. She asked Yuqi to stay in the van while she go look for him. She knew the room number because it was written on the attendance list.
"Yuqi, watch over my stuff. I'll come back after getting Commander Li and Dr. Zhang." Yuqi nodded and told her to go quickly. After getting into the building, she immediately went upstairs and got to floor 7 in a jiffy. She saw Commander Li sitting beside Yue Yue's room clutching to her phone. He felt his whole world just flipped upside down.
"Commander Li, we have to leave now. Did you get Dr. Zhang yet? Aren't you with her?" She asked. Commander Li ignored her and Xiao Xia asked him, "Please, answer me. We don't have time. The van is leaving soon."
"She was kidnapped. When I came up, her phone was on the ground. No one answered me. I don't know where she went." Commander Li buried his head with his hand. Xiao Xia got down and said, "Commander Li, Dr. Zhang texted me last night asking me to do a favor for her. She asked me to watch over you if something happens to her. But right now, you can't be like this. We still have many people to save. Dr. Zhang will be upset if you just sit here and did nothing, right? Our hard work will go down the drain. She will be alright, I believe in her. You should believe in her as well. I didn't say it to you before but I'm sorry for misunderstanding you. Trust me and trust Dr. Zhang, we will get through this. Okay?" Xiao Xia looked at him and waited.
Zhi An clutched to her phone tightly then slowly got up and walked away. As they went down, everyone waited for them. He didn't say anything but remained silent on their way to meet with the police chief. Yuqi nudged Xiao Xia.
"Hey, where is Dr. Zhang? Is she not coming with us?"
"She's been kidnapped by them. I assume she's already at the hotel but I can't be sure. We'll have to wait and see."
"Kidnapped?!" Yuqi yelled and Xiao Xia asked her to calm down.
"Commander Li is not in a good mood. Don't agitate him." Xiao Xia said and the whole van went quiet. When their commander is silent and mad, no one dared to piss him off. He's like a volcano that's ready to erupt at any given time.

As Yue Yue slowly woke up after being knocked out, she felt strong wind blowing on her face. She was wearing her training black tank top and black sweat pant. Her midriff could be seen due to tank top being a bit too short. Her hair which was tied in a ponytail blew sideways. she looked around and saw many tall buildings around her. She was still on the ground trying to get a sense of where she was when she heard someone talking to her.
'Well, well, well. Look who is here?" Yue Yue squinted and saw a young man coming towards her.
"Who are you and where am I?" She asked.
"You know me and you are on the top of the world. We're at City K Hotel, no one will know that we are here. Your precious little friends probably will be on their way here. We won't make it easy for them. Your dead body will be showcased before they even get here."
"Team Leader Yu Haobing. Guess it was you." Yue Yue wasn't surprised it was him. She carefully stood up and said, "Since I'm here, let the victims go. I won't make your life difficult." She saw many kidnapped victims tied together on the rooftop. They were afraid and wanted to be freed.
"Not so fast..." Another man came out with several other masked gun men. Yue Yue remembered them. They were the same people who took many people hostages in the airport. The man who came out is no other than the criminal ring leader, Prak.
"Good work, Haobing." Prak patted on Haobing's shoulder then walked towards Yue Yue.
"So you are Li Zhi An's precious little girlfriend. Cannot wait to see him turning into a monster when he sees your precious body lying here. I heard you wanted to release the victims but I have my own way of doing things. You see those masked men surrounding you and them? They will all shoot at my command. You won't be able to defeat us. Oh right, I forgot to tell you. There are two other people you might know, they are also one of your people."
Yue Yue saw Chief He and Chen Fang. She smiled and said, "I'm not surprised."
Chen Fang stuttered, "Dr. Zhang, it's not like this. I'm not one of his people. I was forced to!! I didn't mean to stab Commander Li, I was told to. Haobing told me to!" Yue Yue looked at them with a disgusted expression, "You guys worked together to destroy Commander Li, isn't it? You brought me here so you can destroy me as well. Right?"
Prak clapped and said, "You're so brilliant! No wonder Haobing said you are too smart for your own good. You just know too much. Unless you work for us, we promise to release the victims unharmed. Otherwise, everyone around the world will watch them die one by one based on your decision."
"You want me to work for you yet you want to kill me at the same time. Which one do you want?" Yue Yue asked.
"Don't get too confident. We're so eager to kill you but it won't do us any good unless you work with us." Haobing replied and Prak looked like a proud father, "Just like he said, we can have the world to ourselves."
Yue Yue looked at them and said, "I won't betray my man. I would rather die saving those people than working you assholes."

Zhi An and the others met up with the police chief as they discussed about their plans. There are already plenty of news station scrambling at City K Hotel entrance trying to get the latest news. City K Hotel became the hot topic in just a few hours.
Xiao Xia and few others looked at the hotel blueprint and each of them have an assigned area. Police Chief already knew about Dr. Zhang's kidnapping and he told his SWAT team to get ready.
Commander Li wasn't in the mood for chit-chat and he told his team to get on to the van as they head to the hotel. Everyone was on alert and they didn't dare to ask him any questions. He was desperate to find his girl. He had to remain composed for his team.
On their way to the hotel, Zhi An scrolled down his phone and read Yue Yue's previous messages. He came across a message saying, "Listen to this song whenever you think of me. This is my favorite go-to song whenever I'm feeling down." The song was called, "Rubia."
He closed his eyes and he felt a feeling of calmness overflowing him. His anger and worries dissipated. As they drove closer to the hotel, it was a mess outside. Countless news media, police officers trying to prevent people from getting too close.
Everyone was on their phone trying to follow the latest news.
"...As everyone can see, City K Hotel is one of the most popular tourist hotels and today, it has become the hottest topic. We received various information and this is the latest video we got from one of our fans. He used his drone to get us this information. The kidnapped victims could be seen from the video. I repeat, this is the latest breaking news."
Everyone was shocked to see and many of them were speechless.
"Hey, that's Dr. Zhang! She's on the rooftop!" All eyes were on her, she was tied on both hands and her mouth was taped. She also had an IED bomb attached to her body. But the criminals were no where to be seen. There were masked men with rifles surrounding each and every one of them.
All the SWAT vans drove to the other direction avoiding the news media. They were all prepared to get to work when the van was parked in an underground parking space. Xiao Xia pulled Zhi An aside and trying to calm him down, "I know this is difficult for you and for us, too. We need you to pull yourself together."
Soon enough, each of them went to their designated locations. Some will try to locate the criminals while some will try to get the victims and Yue Yue out of there. It won't be easy for all of them. All one could do is to try their best and hope.
