SCARLET'S POV
"His phone is ringing. I hope he's alright". I waited patiently for Alex to pick my call.
I turned back to glance at mother, Taylor, Estelle and Sera. Sera and Estelle were dancing while applying the makeup on mother and Taylor's faces. I giggled at their funny dance moves. It was silly but fun.
"Hello?" Alex answered.
Hearing his voice, my heart was at peace instantly. "Thank goodness! What happened? I called you earlier but you didn't answer. I assumed you were still busy, so I waited for you to call back. But no single call from you. Now it's Nine thirty pm. I had to call you back again to see if you were on your way. So...how are you?" I poured out every word in my system.
I was glad that he answered me finally. I didn't know that I was this worried about his safety.
"I'm sorry for everything Dove. My phone was in silence when you first called. So sorry dear," Alex apologized.
