SERA'S POV
This can't be happening. Why is this happening? I never wished for any of these to happen. God is my witness. I never expected his call. I thought I got rid of him. But I was wrong. He found me.
"Don't get worked up Sera. He's just lying. He knows nothing about where you are. He's bluffing," I assumed in my mind.
We were all playing a nice game. Mother, as we all call her, won the next round we just started. We all cheered for her. This was an opportunity to get my mind off the call from earlier. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was troubled within. All of a sudden, my phone rang. I navigated my attention on the phone and saw the name that always planted fear into my soul, popping right on my screen. M. MAN was the name I used in indicating this monster when he called me earlier. I quickly diverted my attention away from my phone. Pretending not to have seen it.
"Hey Sera, your phone is ringing," Estelle informed me.
