I can't explain how I was feeling when Nell said she wanted to speak to me alone and that she wasn't here to see Alex. I can say I was feeling strange or weird rather.
"I know this is surprising to you. It is as well for me. I thought it's high time I spoke to future Mrs Pearce, "Nell said.
Future Mrs Pearce? Okay, now she has got me smiling. I sat comfortably to listen to Nell. Nell began to chat me up on all the things she and Alex always do then in the past. But in the conversation, there was nothing about the both of them having any form of affairs. This actually made me happy.
"Alex is such a workaholic. Never in my life did I picture him with a woman again. Well, he did have Cherry before the break up. But I never thought he'll find someone else. You're a lucky girl Scarlet," Nell narrated sweetly.
