With so much fear linger in her mind as she saw the splash of blood here and there, Camellia have so many thoughts that crossed her mind. One of them include her parents' safety. If the trace of bloody war up until the near border, it means that they, the warriors almost done destroying the current village. In which means that they will move to the next one anytime from then on.
And they might already prepared to left here and continue to attack until she show herself up, maybe. In another words the war will happen in her village less than three days if she did not submit to their condition. Her parents will be killed if she did not investigate about it. Helplessly, Camellia know that she has make a reasonable decision to leave the house as soon as she heard about it.
The second thought is that there is a lot of blood everywhere but there is no corpse or dead body can be found. She take another breath to calm down her racing heart. Camellia then thought about all the possibilities on what may happen to the dead bodies.
Did they clean up the bodies that should be laying around the ground? Did they bury them properly? Or just tossed them in a big hole or somewhere? That is not all questions but there is a lot more she want to know about.
But for that moment, Camellia need to put all the question on hold and walk towards the base of the warriors. She need to find the whereabouts of the camp herself as her information in hands is not much of help and there is nobody to show her way there.
Dismiss every thought and everything in her mind, Camellia walk forward without fear but full with questions that nobody can answer them but the leader himself. She need to have faith in her decision to negotiate. And as for her safety, she need to pray to God to keep her under His watch and depend on her destiny and fate.
After another fifty minutes walking, Camellia can see some smoke behind the trees and she can hear some loud noises from there. She felt a little bit resultant to move forward as she only on her own while they have so many people there. But before she can take another step, she felt that she being under watch from somewhere. There are also some noises from behind the bushes near her.
She felt her body shiver and all her all the hairs on her body stand on their own as if they detect any danger near her. She said loudly and bravely to those people behind the bushes to come out of their hiding place as if she have not a single fear in herself to face them.
"I know you are hiding in the bushes. Just come out and show yourself. We need to talk. Peacefully." Utter Camellia. She emphasize on the 'peace' word so that they will not kill her on the spot without any mercy due to misunderstanding. She value her life and others as everyone hope to live peacefully and happily depends on her. She shoulder everyone wishes.
Suddenly, there is a man walking out of the bushes and stand straight in front of her. The man standing as straight as a soldier that had been training for a long time with those poker face that make Camellia felt annoyed. Not only that, the man come out of his hiding place shirtless and only wear a pair of short.
Even though the man was quite handsome that might make other girls heart flutter and bloom, it did not work on Camellia. With such height, in which Camellia assume six feet two, handsome face and nice body, he is perfect for being a model for the front cover of the magazine. He will make Jessica screaming like a mad woman in the movie she can't remember the tittle.
Before she want to say something there was a few other men walk out from behind the bushes. They were all almost in the same condition where they, the warriors only wear either shorts or a pair of a long pants and no shirt on their body.
"Did their kingdom proved such clothes in a war? Showing body as if they are some exhibitionists, wear nothing much to an underage girl. Oh wait a minute… I'm just come of age. A legal age into adulthood, I guess. So… maybe it's fine. Oh… wait up. Or is it they are not the warriors but bandits, perverts? Oh. My. God." thought Camellia full with doubt of the men in front of her. She did not know how to identify the identity of all the men. There is no trace of any weapons on their body, but those six packs and muscles after she gawked at the men's body.
"No. No. Impossible. Just now there is a lot of blood right. So they are indeed the warriors who start the war and ruin this country peace. Disturbing my family happiness. Ruining my life goals. Grrrr…" thought Camellia and her anger rise to another level when thinking about her life she want to have and had planned for.
"It's me. The girl in the picture. So, please show me the way to your leader." Camellia brace the first man bravely and say something that make all of them to obey without waiting for too long as if she is the one who in charge at the moment. She thought that she might be sound too commanding and too harsh that make them obey her without further any questions.
Unknown to her, they were all instruct to remember her face and never lay a hand or harm her. That is why they did nothing but do what she asked for. All in all, she will be their luna of their pact and queen of the kingdom where the second most powerful position in their kind next to the king. Even though the girl still not in the position to command any of them as the girl have not undergo the luna ceremony just yet, but still they need to respect her.
Why? Because of two reasons. First, that is what they have learn and teach since early age where they need to obey the king's order and commands. Before they all left their kingdom, the king stressed all the warriors to always respect her and protect her from any danger. And the second one is, they did not want their future luna have any hatred towards them and make their life miserable. They have no death wish to do that.
On their way back to the camp, Camellia walk behind the first man that show himself up and the other warriors follow her back as if she is an important person and surrounding by guards for safety. There is no sound make by anyone but the steps they take and the insect sounds surrounding them.
It takes ten minute walk further into forest where Camellia can see the other warriors where she only take a guess all along and the situation there make her take a sharp breath, gasps and jaw dropped, cannot believe what she just saw.
