On the realisation hit them both, Dylan smell some faint sweet vanilla and chocolate in between the medical herbs that make his heart fluttered and thumping wildly. Then, Max shouting, growling and howling loudly 'Mate' in his mind. Dylan quickly open his eyes and smell the sweet scent to get familiarize himself with it.
Dylan open his eyes in an instant. A dizzy hit his head with the sudden bright light coming from a fire five feet away from his body. He closed his eyes automatically and cover them with his hand from the blinding light. He lower his hand and tried to get used to the lighting in the cave. Dylan wake up with a heavy body. His body feel warm and better since the last time he in a conscious state.
He was supposed to feel cold as he just shift back to his human body. And of course in a naked state, without shirt or any clothes. But he found out that his body was covered with big blanket that can fit his wolf size. He felt his body ached here and there as he realised something he never expected ever since he left the military training in other country he used to join. He lay on the hard floor of the cave.
Dylan's whole body feel stiff. All the injuries on his body almost fully recover since the last he remember. Even the bullet wound seems to heal soon. Dylan sit up and look around and saw some scattered and shredded bandages next to his body. He saw some green herbs stick on the bandages. It show that someone had treat all of injured wolf body when both of them still unconscious.
Other than that, Dylan saw a small bonfire, some food and water in two separate bowl. Dylan finally get the whole clear picture. From what he understand, his mate might be the one that help to nurse him back to his health. Dylan stand on his own feet struck naked grab an overcoat laying on the ground near the fire place on put on his body.
He decided to follow the scent that will lead him to his mate. Dylan tried to mind-link Rico and Andy to let them know his location and his well-being. However, no matter how many times he tried he did not get the other replies. He walk out of the cave. Only then he knew that he is not in his wolf land but the neighbouring country which is mostly human settle down at. He suddenly get anxious from the fact.
He realise that it will be impossible to bring his mate back to the palace. He is not in his kingdom. It will be hard to him as he need to have her willingly. Not by force. No matter what he need to find her and finish his sudden mission finding his mate.
"You better no hurt her. Not even a scratch."
"I know. As if I will have a heart to do that. I have been waiting for her all my life. Why would I hurt her?"
For now, his main goal is to find the owner of the smell. He follow the mountain route she take search for her scent that make him hard and lustful all the way.

After five days struggling to suit herself with the new schedule, Camellia walk up the mountain. She walk carefully and crouch only when she found the herbs she need while humming to an unknown tune she learn at school happily. Some of them was off tune, sometimes it sound melodious to everyone's ear. Including the one who walk behind her back all the time since she left her house in the morning and doing her all day routine.
All these while, Camellia had been ignoring her heart beats rate. It had been thumping as if almost burst out of her chest all the time since the time she open her eyelids early in the morning.
Yesterday, based on her inspection, the wolf health improve from the day before. It seems to recover in a very fast pace. It make Camellia happy and cannot stop smiling from ear to ear. She want to examine the health of her first patient. She chant in her heart that the wolf will conscious and comeback from his far land of dream.
What make her surprise as soon as she arrived turn her clueless. The wolf body was not there anymore. All she saw was an empty cave without any trace of the wolf body. She felt a little bit sad as she did not get to bid farewell and saw him left the cave in the best condition it supposed to. All in all, Camellia felt happy that the wolf finally wake up after her poor treatment. She used all her knowledge to give her best treatment for the wolf. So, she felt grateful she can help the poor wolf.
The food and water she prepared yesterday remain untouched. The bonfire she start up already light out and the branches she used already turn ashes. All her belongings left in the cave since the first day still there except for one thing. Her thick and long overcoat she wear on the first night. It was supposed to lay around on the ground near the bonfire. But went missing and cannot be found everywhere.
Camellia walk out of the cave while looking around as if tried to find something. She just make a small pout and sigh heavily and continue to walk between trees. She tried to find some rare herbs that had been highly requested in the market. The pharmacist asked her to bring them tomorrow morning if possible. So she tried to find them with all her might. She happy when thinking about making a lot of money. She want to get the money sooner, so she take a fast pace strides to the place she plan on and left for home after get everything she need.
Unknown to Camellia she is being under sharp watched from behind the thick bushes. She had been followed around from her house since morning.
