Agnis's POV:
"What?" I said aloud. I can't believe this. This cannot happen. This is not done. I knew something was not good, but this much? Please no. I can't be Dalis's mate! I thought.
"Yes. Now do not act like you don't remember anything" Aaron said rolling his eyes on me.
"I really..." I started and looked here and there to try and process everything I heard just then. "I - I am so shocked. How is this possible, Aaron?" I argued.
"Agnis, see I don't want to talk to you right now" Aaron said rudely and was about to leave his room.
"Aaron…" I said and held his hand. "Please don't go. Talk to me please" I pleaded.
"Agnis? Do you want me to hurt you?" He asked fiercely, moving forward towards me. I breathed heavily and gulped.
"Aaron... Please... Jus..." I began, crying.
