Aaron's POV:
We stood there quiet for a minute. She characterized me as heartless and walked away leaving me wonder about myself. I shouldn't have cared what she think about me but it was still bothering me. I turned around and saw everyone looking at me.
"Are you angry about what she just said?" Dalis asked me.
"No. I am not. Why would I be angry about what she thinks? It's her point of view. I do not care. She can think of me as a monster but I will be who I am and I will do what is need to be done" I said bitterly.
"No matter what it takes?" Hoyt asked me.
"Of course. He will do anything for his pack and for us" Mack replied on my behalf. He knows me better than anyone which is why he is my best bud.
"It's nice to see that you are not affected by that girl" Dalis said.
"Of course I am not. And I will never be" I replied.
