Maya was able to help the disabled Ed vampires even more than she had thought she would help.
"Can we have a word with you my lady?" Some women who gathered around to receive clothing materials asked her.
"Sure, go-ahead."
"Are you perhaps the future queen of our kingdom?" Maya was most shocked at the question they had just asked her.
"No, I'm just a friend of the king."
"Oh." The faces of the women suddenly were sad already.
Wait, it can't be that they were actually expecting that she would become the vampire queen. What the hell? Can't they tell that she was a werewolf?
"Too bad you are just the King's friend. We all thought you were the future queen' of the queen and we were beginning to get excited that we now had a saviour for a queen."
Maya suddenly felt very sad for them. She wished she could fulfil their wish, just for them. But then, she was mated to another and cannot have another mate.
