"So, you mean they've already gone in search of me?"
"Exactly. If I knew you could save yourself, I wouldn't have gone through that much stress."
Huh? Did she hear him right? He actually sent his men to find her because he thought she wouldn't be able to save herself. If she did not know him well. She would have been mistaken if you thought he actually cared for her.
But she knew better. Good thing she saved herself even before he did. How terrible she would have felt. Knowing how pompous he was, she surrendered that he thought he was some kind of powerful king.
Maya went into the kitchen to make something to eat. She couldn't deny the fact that she was starving. Especially when she rejected everything she was given.
