Maya felt so very much angry, her mate or should she tell her ex mate is about to be married, and she was just sent an invitation letter which she was on top of her desks.
What arrogance! Though she never bothered about him getting married to whomever he pleases, but why did she have to be involved in it.
And rejecting the invitation will only make him feel like she's feeling unfortunate that he was getting married, when she feels nothing of sort.
She hit her hands so hard on the desk, sharing her anger and frustration.
Suddenly, her beta came into the office since the door was wide open.
His gaze went straight to the letter on her desk, and he suddenly began to chuckle. Maya sent him a death glare.
"What's so funny!"
He made himself comfortable adjacent to hers.
"I'm sorry, but it's hilarious of Lionel. Why did he have to send you are an invitation letter when he was the one clearly in the wrong."
