FIGHTING SCENE
It got to a point, Rogers wolf could no longer handle the battle as he also sustained some bites and scratches, but he never stopped fighting them off.
When Alpha Rogers could no longer bear and was at the verge of collapsing, beta Raymond showed up. He shifted to his wolf and ran to the rescue of his Alpha.
"Derrick!, you will pay for this, you are such a coward!."
"Why are you here beta?, I thought I gave you a chance to leave after betraying your pack, you must be very foolish to come back here."
Alpha Rogers could not believe what Derrick said about his beta. He knows Raymond will never betray him, it was never in his nature to do so.
"You are the foolish one, I rather die a hero than die a coward!."
"You set me as a trap against my son, forcing him to choose between his family and pack. Dismembering you to pieces still cannot atone for all your crimes."
Raymond launched an attack on Derrick, and they fought with equal strength, since they all went through equal training at Blood Rose.
He could have been selected as gamma to Alpha Rogers if he were to still be at Blood Rose, but his ambition was to be an Alpha who ruled, that was why he found his way into silver moon pack when he discovered his mate was the Alpha's daughter.
Raymond managed to bite a massive chunk of flesh from Derricks thigh, which made him trashed and whimpered in pain. Minutes later, more wolves came out from the woods.
Emilia, Derrick's mate, and Luna led the warriors. She growled at the sight of her mate being severely wounded. She shifted to a black wolf with brown furs, and attacked Raymond, who was fast enough to knock her out instantly. She might be a Luna but not as strong as Blood Rose beta.
Meanwhile, more wolves attacked Rogers, who was all battered in Blood but refused to surrender.
When Raymond saw the state his Alpha was in, he quickly ran to his side, killing every werewolf he found on his way.
"Raymond, you should leave now, I need you to go back to Blood Rose pack, save anyone you can. Please, Raymond, protect my pack and family if you can."
"No, I can't leave you here Alpha Rogers, it's too late now, Lana is the enemy, and she is already in cohorts with some pack elders and warriors, it will be too late for me to save anyone."
"I would rather fight beside you and die an honorable death than let you fight alone."
"I'm so sorry Alpha, my son is the reason our pack is in danger, I would die protecting you as atonement for his crime."
BLOOD ROSE PACK
It was getting dark in Blood Rose pack and still no news from the Alpha.
Mind link still didn't work.
Lana and her loyal subjects planned on how they were going to lunch an attack on the pack. They knew if Alpha Rogers was to be in the pack it would be harder to fight.
Now the only person left to deal with was Luna Eva, her gamma and some faithful pack warriors.
Lana waited patiently as the warriors sent by her brother were already stationed outside, with their scent very well hidden.
All they were waiting for was a signal from Derrick, so they can begin their operation on the pack.
After waiting to nightfall, Derrick finally mind linked Lana that the Alpha was no longer a threat and his warriors were already on their way.
Lana informed the pack's elders and some members who joined her as she marched outside, ready for war.
" Listen everyone, Blood Rose pack is under attack, but I promise you no one will get hurt so long as you corporate with me".
Some pack members who did not understand what Lana was talking about challenged her.
"What right do you have to tell us what to do and whom to follow?" said a pack member.
The Luna, who had already seen this coming, walked up to her witch Lana.
"So you are finally showing your claws now? You don't have any right to tell my pack members what to do."
"With all due respect, Luna Eva, you should save your breath as what I said applies to you as well."
"You must be stupid and naive Eva, you should have seen this coming the moment you refused to obey the prophecy.
You should surrender now or be ready to meet your doom just like your husband Alpha Rogers ".
Everyone gasped in terror at what Lana said.
"What do you mean, my husband met his doom, he is on a rescue mission to save his beta from the werewolf hunters?"
"Oh of course, but too bad he won't be coming back alive, you should have known he won't be coming back the moment you could no longer mind link him."
"You should never have been the Luna, but no worries because all this will change the moment I become the leader."
Everyone panicked. How could she become the Luna, she is just a witch, some members murmured.
"Stop wasting your time everyone
You should all submit to me now that you still have the chance. Don't let me make you submit by force ".
Gamma, Gerald, could no longer endure the rubbish Lana was saying.
"You gave a prophecy that Maya was a threat and should not be allowed to lead,, but you are planning to be Alpha now?".
"You shouldn't blame me, it's all the faults of your Alpha and Luna, they brought this upon the pack!, if only they agreed to get rid of that cursed child who was going to bring ruins to the world this wouldn't have happened.
You should blame your Luna, not me!."
The pack became a total mess at this point.
Some pack elders agreed to what Lana said.
"Yes, we should have gotten rid of Maya now she has brought chaos upon us. We should kill her to pacify the moon goddess!".
Luna Eva became raged at the elder's words.
"No one!, absolutely no one will touch a hair on my daughter.
You all suddenly became weaklings because a witch told you to get rid of your Alpha's child and you all agreed to it?."
"Your Alpha is out there trying to save his beta, but you plan to give in to a witch! Who's purely out on a revenge because she couldn't get the position as your Luna."
Everyone stopped murmuring as they were confused as to whom to believe.
Lana just wasn't going to let Eva win.
"You all must be idiotic to believe her. Did you forget what happened in the history about female Alphas?, every one of you should be blamed for the disaster that's about to befall the pack."
"Surrender now, and I can assure that you will keep your lives, but those who refuse shall be killed!"
Panic arose yet again. Some pack members ran to Lana's side, scared of being killed.
"So this is how much you care for your Alpha?, this is how much you care for your pack!."
Luna Eva shouted in anger at the weak-minded pack members who deserted her to Lana's side.
"You should surrender now, Eva, there's no hope for you anymore". Lana said pridefully.
"Never, I will never yield to a traitor like you!".
"Then be ready to perish with your followers".
Shortly after, Derrick's Warriors attacked carrying weapons only werewolf hunters used. Some were in their wolf forms, looking terribly dangerous.
Eva never intended to surrender as she commanded her faithful followers to battle with her if they are not scared to defend their pack.
They joined her in the battle as they fought viciously, but they were not as strong as the war wolves in front of them, who were greatly armed with weapons.
Maya felt like dying, but her mom strictly told her never to leave the pack and defend regardless of what but how was she going to do that, she could not fight.
She saw some wolves approaching where she and Tania stood guard and was shaken to the core.
Tania, on the other hand, was ready to fight with a sword she always carried with her.
"If Tania could fight even though we were the same age, why can't I".
Maya summoned up courage to attack the first wolf that came her way,, and
suddenly, she found herself running directly towards the wolves that ran in her direction.
"What's happening to me, how come I am running towards danger?."
Before Maya could realize, she brought down a wolf in one swift move, she looked back at the wolf only to find it dismembered into a thousand pieces.
"How the hell did I do that?"
She was shocked to see a horrified looking Tania behind her.
"What on earth, Maya!?".
