Jake looked towards the incoming figure with vigilance in his eyes, as he couldn't feel even a shred of energy leaking from his body. It was as if the old man wasn't present here at all.
The old man came towards him and stopped right before Jake's face, he then raised his hands.
Jake grew vigilant and wanted to raise his hands in defence but to his surprise, the old man wanted to shake his hands. Jake eased up a bit and replied with a casual handshake, but the next moment he found his body to be mid-air, and he crashed into a nearby wall.
Jake puked blood from the residual momentum of the impact and felt that his palm bones were crushed by the old man. The next moment , a message appeared on Jake's screen.
