The man below Jake was screaming in pain and suffering but there was no one who was willing to come forward and help him. Even Simon chose to stand back. The scene in front of him was too shocking and the sheer power demonstrated meant that Jake had far surpassed the C-rank. He was a legitimate B-rank hunter and it seemed that he was one of the stronger ones. Even he didn't have the confidence to subdue him.
Jake raised his legs, placed it on one of the fingers of the man below and pressed on it. The screams got louder.
"Who sent you?" Jake asked.
The man chose to get silent. He couldn't disclose the name of his employer or they would be implicated.
"A resilient one. You choose to be silent which indicates either a serious loyalty to the one behind you or an incredible amount of fear. From your face though, and this setting around us, I would rather not bet on the first option. This means that you seem to be scared of him." Jake said.
