Oliver and Callum had just finished their homeroom, 'I can't wait, we're finally learning about our system, I can finally learn how to become stronger, strong enough to never lose anyone again.'
"C'mon Callum hurry your ass up, this is a big day for me man," Oliver hit Callum in the shoulder whilst he just yawned.
"Man, this is so boring to me though my families been berating me over it since I was a toddler."
"Agh whatever let's just hurry, if we're late for Lucys lesson he'll kill us, he's already tried it before."
Callum reluctantly gave in, wandering through the schools corridors which were flush with paintings of the legacy's that have come from the MK academy, one of them was even of a student that was part of the team which cleared floor 8 first.
They arrived at the lecture theatre, it was glorious, stretching as high as a 5 story building with a giant chandelier hanging down from the top, several floors of seating facing a stage for the teacher. Callum wasn't impressed by it seeing many grander things from his family but Oliver couldn't help but gasp every time he entered.
Every single seat had a pullout tablet to use, the schools were amazing, Oliver couldn't help but be shocked.
Once they chose their specializations they'll move into rooms for their subjects but for now they taught the year as a whole.
"Alright kids listen up, because there's so many of you I shall display what I'm talking about on the tablet, first we'll be talking about what's on your system and how everyone's laid out, then I'll talk about talents, now I know a lot of you have already learnt about this years ago but there's some peasants who still haven't so we'll be going over it for their sake."
Grumbles were heard from the nobles complaining about why they'd have to listen to this trash but Lucy paid them no heed. If you weren't taught about this then you could die out there.

"Kids this is how your system will be laid out, also if you say enter the tower a popup will occur that'll be locked for you until you're 15. This is for safety reasons, even the 1st floor of the tower could cost you your life if you're careless.
There will also be a shop you can enter, when you kill monsters, be it in the dungeons or the tower you will gain a certain amount based on it's level. Sometimes you can also gain them via achievements too, such as levelling up your cultivation.
You may use these coins to purchase various resources such as cultivation books, resources and even new elemental affinities, sadly we are not allowed to share manuals.
For this reason level 1 dungeons are capable of being cleared in teams if you train your body and martial arts. You may also buy martial skill books from the shop and spells increasing your attack abilities.
However, we are allowed to share resources, such as ones for cultivation or treasures like swords. For this reason you're in a much better place then our ancestors, as you no longer have to go into the dungeons barehanded, we can also create weapons using a monsters materials which we are allowed to take into the dungeons. Any questions?"
Oliver raised his hand, by the looks of the crowd which was half dozing off he was one of the few people paying attention, Lucy pointed at him.
"Sir, can we purchase seeds and plant the cultivation resources for the future, farming them?"
"Good question boy, nobles listen up as well this might not be knowledge you know of yet. There is a function like that however its extraordinarily expensive so very few people have it.
You can buy a custom made world for any beast pets you may get, you can also buy automated farming lots to produce the cultivation resources. However if multiple people pool together to buy it the price increases exponentially, the price also increases as your level increases.
As of right now we cant produce the plants on Earth because the Qi is too sparse, however within 20 years it should be thick enough to start planting the weakest spirit plants. Once we reach that point we'll be able to grow the next generation to be even stronger."
Oliver just sat down in awe, maybe there was a way to keep his level down whilst killing monsters? It sounded like an amazing investment, which is why it was so incredibly expensive, Callum just turned saw his bright face and said, "Don't even think about it, I only know one person with it and he grinded at level 2 for 3 years before being able to afford it."
Three years doesn't sound like much but that's enough time to reach the mid ranks of the sensing Qi stage or to become a low rank apprentice mage.
"Alright for the next segment we'll be talking about the stats and what they do to your body, strength is obvious, it increases the power you can exert with your body. 10 strength is the average normal human, once you increase to 20 it doubles etc.
Now, agility is a little more complicated, it allows you to use your body to a higher level, letting you feel the specific movements of the muscles and gives you more control over them, it also increases your eyesight allowing you to see faster movement. The stat points are just like strength in the distribution.
Intelligence allows you to think faster, it also increases the speed of your magic cultivation, once again 10 is a normal human of your talent and 20 is double. This may not sound like a lot but it can mean an incredible amount once you get to higher levels.
Now, you may think a mage just needs intelligence right? Well then how would the fare against an opponent that uses agility as its main weapon? They would be killed in a heartbeat, you need to balance your stats in a way that's best for you, you need an advantage in your field but you also need to be prepared for every possibility in a fight.
Every level you increase you will be given 10 status points and the exp to reach the next level will increase by 100, when you reach level 10 the exp given to you by the same creatures will be a magnitude of 10 lower. This allows us to continually push ourselves to move into higher level dungeons. Any questions?"
A blonde girl from the front raised her hand, "Sir, how do we increase vitality and endurance? My families never taught me, sorry."
Lucy was puzzled, the girls attire was clearly one of a noble family and yet she hadn't been taught the basics?
"There are three ways you may increase your vitality and endurance, one, you may use your status points with an exchange rate of 1 status points for a 5 point increase in vitality and endurance.
The second is to use resources bought from the shop to permanently increase them however after a while these resources start to lose their affects.
The third is with body cultivation, as you continue along the path your vitality will increase, when your vitality increases so does your life span."
"Thank you, sir," The girl beamed gratefully up at Lucy, Oliver's impression of this girl was quite good. She seemed to be different than other nobles, Callum excluded of course that boy was just too different.
"That brings me onto my last point of the day, magic and body cultivation, so far the only stages we know off are up to liquid dantian and master mage, past that no books have appeared yet in the shops.
There are multiple paths to go down, in two weeks we'll test your magic and body cultivation talents, we'll also test your affinities. Magic in general has a wider path to go down, however strong body cultivators are incredibly strong people with one even being the top adventurer.
Ultimately you'll see the products in the shops and it'll be up to you to chose, the only thing we'll help you out with here is specializations and combat training. We cannot fight your battles and chose your choices for you. So choose carefully, good luck and dismissed."
Callums eyes flicked up from his desk, "Is it finally over Oliver?! We're free now?"
"Ha nope we've still gotta train with Lucy and end this damn day of school, agh I can't wait for two weeks time, it's going to be amazing, let's head back for now Callum." Oliver looked up with a bright face, sighing, just two more weeks to go until everything starts for real.
