After a short while both Peta and myself were standing in front of the structure. It must have been farther than I thought because it looked way bigger than it did a moment ago. The doors stretched high up, the walls shimmered in gold and the intense feeling of dread leaked from every angle. How can a place so enchanting give off such a feeling? I looked over at Peta who shivered at the thought of opening those doors. I gathered myself and kept calm as I pushed the doors open. The interior was just a as breathtaking. Everything was lined with gold, there were halls that seemed to go on for miles, a chandelier hanging from the ceiling and a great many pillows. The two of us slowly entered and began to look around. Peta softened after a while and we began to look for Lord Poseidon. The place seemed empty, yet there was still so much to search. We wandered around looking through every room and I began to wonder why it seemed to go on forever. It occurred to me that we were in a king's domain. When they wish to be left alone they can come here where the structure shifts every couple of minutes, so that you may never find them. Nymph's have gone missing for days in these structures. I looked behind me and just as I feared the entire hall had shifted. We weren't in the same place as before. The king's would escape to these structures for days at a time, but Lord poseidon has been here for way longer so who knows how long we'll be trapped here. I'm immortal and can survive without food and water, but Peta can't. She's a river nymph. She can't live without river water.
"Lord Poseidon!? It's me, Micah! We need your help!" Peta caught on to the situation and began to panic. She held onto my arm and squeezed tightly.
"Είμαι η Πέτα. Παρακαλώ βοηθήστε μας! Δεν μπορούμε να βγούμε έξω!" she seemed to be breaking down. I knew I should have at least tried to get her to stay with the other nymph's. I could have come here on my own and this wouldn't be happening to her. This is all my fault.
"Micah!" we both turned around to see Lord Poseidon, towering over us. We both stood there star-struck on his growth. He is the shortest of the three kings although he's older than Lord Zeus. In one scoop of his arms he lifted me off the ground and held me close. "I thought you were dead. I watched you be buried. How is this possible?" I tried my best not to faint as he squeezed the air from my lungs. I tapped his shoulder a few times before he understood that he was going to be the second death of me. He quickly put me down and held my shoulders to keep me upright.
"Thanks for the hug Lord Poseidon. Very kind of you. Sorry to disturb you, but Peta and I got a bit lost in your domain." he looked at me in such disbelief. "What's the matter, sir?"
"The matter is that you've just arisen from the dead and you're still worried about disturbing me. I've been in here since the day we buried you. I didn't know that you were still out there. Were you with the river nymph's this entire time?" I shook my head.
"I woke up in my bed this morning. I don't remember the passing of time or the moment of my death. I never even saw the persons face. They chased me into the water and then hit me in the head from behind and that's all that I can remember. I just know that I didn't die right away after they hit me. Also, it is literally my job to care and worry for you and your time, so yes I am sorry for disturbing you." a smile spread across his face as he placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Welcome back, Micah."
