Sparks of their blade's parries briefly enlightened the blackened surroundings, where Tsumaki's demonic power eventually scorched through his armored body and his blade.
Upon closer observation, I saw that Tsumaki's left hand summoned a clawed hand, which he used to grab a large piece of debris from the ceiling. After Leonardo evaded his brutal slash at lightning speed, he harshly threw it to his face.
However, Leonardo was no pushover for Tsumaki to fight against, for he easily slashed the thrown debris with lightning speed into the fragments. But when I was silently observing their fighting moves, which looked against the norms of swordfighting, Nolan suddenly patted my left shoulder from behind with a concerned query.
"Tsuyuki, what do you make of that?"
But his question further imprisons my sanity, plunging me into an endless spiral of despair. I feel like my actions have trapped others in a hazardous situation and I'm responsible for the consequences.
I couldn't help but lower my head with scorching confusion and furrow my forehead as I was hoping for a little piece of heaven.
"I… have no idea... What the hell is going on?"
As the three of us fell into the blackened silence and continued witnessing the brutal fight between Tsumaki and Leonardo, Tsumaki suddenly asserted in a harsher tone that's reverberated the surrounding area amidst the deafening parry against Leonardo's blade.
"HOW DARE YOU KILL A BLESSED PROPHET FOR THE MERE OF SILVERS?!"
"HE RAISED YOU FROM YOUR POVERTY TO BECOME ONE OF HIS APOSTLES! BUT IS THIS HOW'D YOU SHOWED YOUR GRATITUDE TO HIM?!"
Despite that, Leonardo continued to hold Gaetano hostage with his demonic blade, pressing its tip against his neck. His harsh words echoed in the surroundings, adding to the tension of the scene.
"THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN PURGE ALL HERESIES IS ONLY ME! NOT YOU! AND NOT THE SO-CALLED SECOND COMING CHRIST!!!"
He then pointed his demonic blade at Tsumaki in the distance as he further clenched weakened Gaetano's neck, which almost crushed him from the immense suffocation. I noticed Gaetano tightly gripping Leonardo's bracelet, a symbol of their intertwined fates, even as his strength waned in the face of the escalating conflict.
"Because cretins like you refuse to learn, I will become Christ himself and rewrite the entire bible story so I could LAY OFF ALL HERESIES SCUMS!!!"
Despite appearing unable to save Gaetano from a distance with only his blade for close combat, Tsumaki unexpectedly pointed his wide-open left hand towards Leonardo from a distance. A menacing blue aura crept over his left arm, each passing second intensifying the looming threat of a minor apocalypse on the malevolent figure.
And suddenly…
BANG
Tsumaki unleashed a powerful projectile from his left hand, creating a deafening shockwave that shook the surrounding area! Unfortunately, Leonardo narrowly avoided a fatal blow from Tsumaki's summoned projectile. However, the projectile struck the wall from behind Leonardo, causing the crucified Gaetano's cross to tremble with the shockwave that followed the impact.
Despite Tsumaki's projectile missing its target, it also struck Gaetano's crucifixion cross, which fell to the ground and violently shattered into fragments. The dust of the mayhem blinded us, but it doesn't affect us physically, as we already know it's just some kind of illusion of the past.
We also watched as Gaetano, freed from his crucifixion, plunged harshly into the ground, his wretched body crippling deeper into the ground and slowly releasing a pool of blood. But despite looking like he's still standing by, he slowly raised his neck and crawled on the ground for an escape; his worsening condition spoke otherwise.
But besides that, it won't stop the fight from escalating even further where Tsumaki was going crazy with his demonic power to fight against the greater evil force, such as Leonardo, with blade swings that slashed upon the dust and temporarily cleared our visions.
All the while harshly asserted at him as he doubled down on his blade slashes and even launched demonic projectiles on his left hand.
"Don't be such a hypocrite scum! You are absolutely selling your souls to the demons you swore to destroy!"
We didn't realize that Leonardo's body was slowly emanating a blackened aura, which looked like the power of the dark side, despite his crusader armor, which brandished a red Christ's cross that spoke otherwise.
However, we observed that Tsumaki slightly outperformed Leonardo, as he appeared to underestimate the strength of the treacherous Gaetano's disciple. He was backing down at lightning speed and pointed his demonic blade at Tsumaki with a harsher assertion.
"Because if I spare one of them, you will bear witness to what the heretic could do!"
But Tsumaki could only scowl in disdain at his assertion, responding with a scornful statement in a low but harsh tone. Meanwhile, Tsumaki aimed his blue demonic blade at Leonardo, who was gradually gaining more power from the dark side.
"And that one spared heretic is your own wretched self."
We witnessed that Leonardo's blackened power was increasing on each millisecond, where his holy knight's armor turned into a blackened armor from the dark side with spikes on the shoulders, with his head slowly growing blackened horn like the demon of hell.
He transferred his increasing demonic power into his blade, went all out for the third time, and his sword slash accidentally slashed the surrounding wall and the ground, where it was almost as if he intentionally tore down the place to further harden Tsumaki's stance of his rampage. All the while harshly retorted to Tsumaki.
"LOOK AT THE BIBLE AND SEE IT BY YOURSELF ON WHAT THOSE HERETIC FUCKS WILL CAUSE!!!"
"I FIGHT FOR THE GREATER PEACE!!! AND I WILL DO IT, ALL AGAIN!!!"
Leonardo's rampage clearly tore down the surrounding area where it was about to collapse, causing the ground to violently tremble at its open crack. This revealed that we were inside the tower's topside, approximately 100 meters above the ground.
However, that won't stop Tsumaki from hardening his stance as he dashes toward the wretched Gaetano after his crucifixion on the ground, carrying him while evading Leonardo's rampage in lightning speed. Try not to injure himself or Gaetano, and respond to Leonardo's yell in a harsher tone.
"By burning other worship places, looting, raping minors and women, and slaughtering innocents. If opposing such actions is also viewed as a sin, it portrays God as a psychopathic Satan, further reinforcing evils."
"And it doesn't matter how hard you eradicate; another one will reappear. And you are the cause of it."
I couldn't help but faintly nod at Tsumaki's response, as his response was pretty much depicting the irony of the world. Those in positions of authority will take any measure to prosper, even if it involves betraying their own community.
The tower's cracks were widening, resembling an egg cracked open where properties had fallen from a height of 100 meters. Meanwhile, Gaetano continued to wield his demonic blade in the surrounding area, yelling even more harshly, his voice taking on a deep, guttural quality reminiscent of a demonic overlord.
"NONSENICAL FOUL!!! YOU ALREADY KNOW WHY NOT ALL LIVES MATTER!!! EVERYONE IS ALREADY BORN EVIL, AS THEY'RE GETTING COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR OWN DELUSION!!!"
"THAT'S WHEN I, SHALL, SCORCH, DOWN, THE HELL, UPON THOSE INSIGNIFICANT FUCKS!!!"
I accidentally witnessed that Leonardo's distant blade slashes, slightly wounded Tsumaki's right shoulder where it's pierced through his blue demonic samurai armor, whilst weighing his left shoulder on carrying a wretched Gaetano.
But he wouldn't back down as he stepped on each falling debris like a stepping stone to prevent himself from falling from the hundred-meter height, while responding in a low but harsh tone with a disgusted look upon Leonardo's megalomaniac.
"The thing is, you're such an insufferable fool who refuses to look at your own mirror! Every time you preach about charitable deeds, you have to practice what you preach. But you don't!"
During the climaxing duel between Tsumaki and the megalomaniac Leonardo with his increasing demonic power through his rampage, where the surrounding was collapsing and the debris fell from the height, Lisabelle startled us with a revelation that sent shockwaves through the group.
"I knew it!"
"What's wrong?"
With a commanding hand gesture and a voice that grew increasingly urgent, Lisabelle responded to Nolan's question, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination.
"The rumor was true all along about the dark warrior, Tsumaki! He was one of the archdemons who once rebelled against hell's uprising for the sake of mankind!
She suddenly pointed at Leonardo, who was levitating above the ground whilst constantly rampaging the surrounding area with his sword slash, hoping it would plunge both Tsumaki and Gaetano to the void.
"That's the second coming of Judas! Maybe the inscription tells us the betrayal of Leonardo to the prophet Gaetano due to his violent voracity, from the Galean's Bible story!"
Her explanation still confused Nolan, as he had to ask for more clarification while pointed at Leonardo's rampage.
"Yeah, but what's another reason for Leonardo's betrayal besides mere silvers?"
But because talk is too cheap for us, I felt compelled to deliver a stern warning to the group, ensuring unwavering focus on the climactic battle unfolding before us.
"Guys, it'll be better if we just shut up and witness it until the end!"

A massive piece of debris landed above Tsumaki's head, erasing all hope and leaving him with no choice but to confront death from above, a force that would shatter his delicate skull despite his demonic strength. But, out of our surprise...

Tsumaki swiftly retreated, launching a blatant drop-kick onto the larger debris, which shot out like a railgun cannon and brutally struck down Leonardo's body during his climaxing rampage. The sudden disrespect caused significant damage to Leonardo's body, nearly dragging him down from the crumbling ground.
As the surrounding was collapsing with the debris falling to the height of a hundred feet, Tsumaki then stood above the standing rubble as he asserted to Leonardo with a firm tone whilst carrying a wretched Gaetano's body.
"IT'S OVER, LEONARDO!!! CAST OUT YOUR EGO AND REPENT!!!"
Despite Leonardo being on the edge of the cliff after the unexpected comeback by Tsumaki, he didn't stop his smirk as he responded in a scornful disdain.
"It's amusing how a demon like you ordered me to repent. Whilst you refuse TO DO SO!!!"
Unfortunately, Tsumaki felt like dealing with Leonardo was no different than treating a spoiled brat. He twisted his body and unleashed his demonic force, summoning his demonic wing and soaring through the falling debris from the ceiling.
But with an unrelenting fury from the shameful defeat, Leonardo suddenly got up from the collapsing ground and rushed to Tsumaki as he summoned his demonic wing to chase off fleeing Tsumaki while pointing his blade at him.
"TSUMAKI!!! DIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
"After you, the second coming of Judas!"
Just as Tsumaki turned his body to the back and aimed his left arm at Leonardo, who was approaching with a shrouding blue aura, something unexpected happened.
BANG
He fired the demonic projectile from his left hand, pushing Leonardo so forcefully that he fell to the ground from a height of a hundred meters, screaming into the top of his lung.
As the building collapsed further into the ground floor and Tsumaki finally put an end to Leonardo's rampage, he continued his escape, carrying Gaetano's wretched body.
And it wondered us, where did he take that blessed prophet to?
