The morning sun had risen and the atmosphere of the orc camp is tense. It hasn't even been noon yet the orcs have already started preparing for the war to come. The orcs will attack at evening before the sun sets down.
The elite force members are also gathered at one place ready to deploy. Their armour is not the best quality but still above average among the normal soldier orcs.
Korzak was part of the force as he is one of the strongest orcs even among all the tribes gathered.
Beside him, an orc with a bigger frame than him stood. Orcs are naturally tall averaging around 2 meters tall, however this specific orc was 3 meters high. His body was fat but not without muscles. Muscles are hidden under his fat which deceived the eye to underestimate him. Under the fat stomach, abdomen muscles could be felt as hard as rock.
This orc is the leader of the Blood Knife Tribe, a tribe that is filled with bloodthirsty and brutal orcs even among their species. It's safe to assume that they are a tribe made solely out of battle junkies.
"Heikar, long time no see. I didn't see you at the meeting yesterday so I didn't get to greet you"
Korzak greeted Heikar like they were long time friends. Heikar looked beside him at Korzak lending out a hand to him attempting to handshake. Heikar recieved the handshake and responded to Korzak's greeting.
"Indeed, it's been a while since I've seen such a familiar face."
Suddenly, Heikar released his aura and killing intent directed towards Korzak only. Korzak resisted his aura by releasing his own. Heikar smirked and laughed out loud.
"It seems like you haven't slacked off on training. I thought you would have gone limp from all the chief work"
Korzak released his hand from the handshake. He looked at Heikar up and down before speaking back.
"I can say the same to you. In fact, I think you've grown bigger again. As expected of the 'Goliath'."
"I appreciate the praise"
Suddenly, their conversation was brought to a halt when the sound of metal clanging could be heard from the entrance of the tent. An orc with two swords on his waist was thumping his armor to get the attention of the elite force members.
"Please get ready. We will depart in 10 minutes. Re-check your equipments to lessen the chance of you dying."
The orc with two swords shouted in the tent. The expression of all the orcs within, including Korzak, turned serious. The mission they're about to go to will decide the whole fate of the orc army. One mishap and they're all dead.
The Elite Force set out and entered the woods to detour around the demon's main army.
Meanwhile, the orc's main army had advanced forward into the battlefield and readying to attack the demon army. The elite forces arrived at the enemy's camping grounds with their weapons out ready to battle.
Screams and shouts of war could be heard from the battlefield which indicated the clash between the orc and demon armies. This also served as a signal for the elite force to attack as all attention is focused on the battlefield.
The forces stormed into the enemy camp and killed all the demons in sight. The camping grounds was dyed with red and the tents were splattered with blood. There were demons fighting back, but they were soon eliminated with the help of Korzak and Heikar.
They ransacked every tent starting from the most outward ones all the way to the middle. In the end, there was only one more tent left to check. They nodded at each other as a form of agreement to enter the tent.
They stormed through the entrance of the tent and quickly examined the inside. There wasn't much inside except for a few demons guarding the throne at the end of the room.
Sitting on the throne, a woman can be seen with her legs crossed. The woman, Alisia, looked over the orcs with a face that seemed devoid of expressions.
"So you've come to assassinate me, I assume? My, my. They say that orcs are honorable war creatures yet they have come personally to assassinate me? Looks like the rumours are far from the truth"
Alisia said so with a nonchalant tone of voice and her expression stayed the same. The demons around her readied their swords to fight the orcs. The orcs also did the same as they cast body enhancement using aura readying to attack the demons.
Alisia waved her hand and the five demons guarding her attacked the orcs. Although there are more orcs, the demons were able to skillfully handle all of them. It was fight with a 2:1 ratio of numbers but the chances of winning are much different.
The demons were considerably stronger than the demons they killed before. They didn't charge in like mindless idiots but instead knew how to back away and attack in the right moment. Suddenly, a grunt could be heard from among the orcs. One of them had lost an arm to the demons.
The demon Korzak was fighting smirked at the orcs. He clashed his sword with Korzak's axe and spoke between the clash.
"I expected more of the infamous orcs but I guess that was too much for brutes like you. If you surrender now, I might give you a painless and merciful death"
Hearing the demon, Korzak backed away and began releasing his aura. He coated his axe with aura and strengthened his hands. Seeing this, the demon coated himself with a mana armor. He didn't use offensive spells probably as a form of handicap for the weak.
"Dying in battle is the most merciful and honorable death an orc can experience"
"Then just die obediently, you brute!"
The demon charged at Korzak with his sword. The both of them intended to end the battle in a single strike. The demon swung down his sword with all the physical force he can gather. Korzak blocked the strike with his battle axe and the felt an immense pressure forcing down on his body.
The ground became a crater and his muscles were strained to their limits. In the end, his legs gave out and he fell to his knees. Suddenly, the demon was attacked by a punch from the right. The demon backed away and dodged the punch.
"Don't die yet, we still need you to fight the woman"
Heikar said while helping Korzak get back on his feet. They were both exhausted and worn out. They haven't even defeated even one of the demons yet. Korzak looked around and noticed four orc bodies laying lifeless on the ground.
They were already exhausted yet the demons seems like they have emough energy to fight them all day. The demons re-grouped and every single one of them had mana enveloped around their bodies.
"We'll die before we even reach that woman, you know that right?"
"I'm not dumb enough to not know that. Our best bet is to charge straight at that woman while the others distract those demons."
Their discussion were cut short by a voice behind them.
"You can leave them to us. The both of you can go for that woman while we hold the demons"
It was the orc with the two swords from earlier.
"Your name was Fergo was it? Then, we'll leave the rear to you"
They both sprinted towards Alisia. The sword demons tried to stop them but was blocked by Fergo and his companions. Korzak and Heikar didn't stop sprinting towards Alisia.
