I got off the horse and gave the rein to the horseman at the entrance. He was still gawking at me in surprise, instead of guiding Darth to the mews. I ignored the surprised look on his face and walked past him to the entrance.
The royal guards' eyes widened at the sight of me. "Your grace," they bowed after taking some time to realize it was me.
"I'm here to visit His Majesty," I handed over the seal to them.
"Your grace," both the guards bowed again then gave me my seal.
I walked the vestibule. It was all decorated with white flowers and green leaves. It annoyed me for no reason. Even the interior curtains which had always been olive green was changed to white. This castle which always possessed an intimidating air now looked artistic and grand. 'What's the occasion?' I couldn't decide.
