Edward stormed inside the Art hall again. This time, he appeared to be fearless to me. He was on the verge of erupting.
"Father! There is something you need to know," he announced. There was obvious arrogance in his voice. It might be because of the backing up of the Letresh. Whatever it was, I could say that his tone and anger towards the king were not going to help him anyway.
"Go ahead!" the reply came in a harsher tone.
"Brace yourself, father. It is about your beloved daughter," he warned. If only I could I would have lashed into the hall and punched him in his face. Isn't the damage he had already done is enough?
"What is it?" the king quickly responded.
"The rangers had captured all four guards of the princess."
'All four of them?' fear started to creep inside me once again. Is that why Victor hadn't visited me after that day? Even I couldn't get to see Nilo. The very thought that they were in Ranger's custody gave me cold shivers and sweat at the same time.
