I started to walk back, without really having any idea where to go. The idea of Victor, Nilo and my soldiers being under Casimir's custody scared the hell out of me.
'Would he torture them?'
A part of me wished and begged the god that it must not be the case. But my instinct told me otherwise. It explained to me why it is not the most possible instance. Casimir is known for this. My head started to hurt and then heartache followed. The fact Victor was going through all these because of me made me even more vulnerable to the pain. Not to mention, my so-called parents decided to sacrifice him in order to save me. A shriek of pain travelled from the core of my heart to the tip of my fingers.
Henry, Merlin, Nilo... Their faces clouded my mind. At last, my legs paused when Victor flooded my mind.
I couldn't walk anymore. When I raised my head to look where I was, I found myself at the seashore... Our hideaway... I've really walked too far away from the palace.
