Chapter 15 - 1.09.2 An interrogation to remember - Part2

While Girisia was trying his hardest to kill himself by the hands of Tarkov. The players on the forums continued their usual tradition to talk about redundant things with high enthusiasm. There was a post that said atop the forum wall with the highest upvotes.

This was a post made by Tara.

StarKillerTara: Thanks Mods of #WikiaNirvana for capital support. And as per the promise, I will make all the knowledge I obtained after this mission public. **VideoFileOfGirisia'sClassNarration**

And sorry to @Monketron and @Elgiess for not taking your bigger offer.

Elgiess: No worries @StarKillerTara , I appreciate your choice, but my offer still stands, you can join our guild for next to no charges. And thanks for the info, we will start looking into it more.

NobodyKiller: This means we are stuck with only 2 classes?… isn't this too low. And what about that Domain class. OP asks for more details of this class, there must be something special about it.

It was normal for players to have this idea, the more little or rare it was, the more precious it will be. This is the kind of mindset the majority of humans have towards rare commodities and it has persisted from the dawn of mankind and also one of the reasons why diamond was considered so precious, even though it was just a super hard rock.

The same was true here for classes.

To obtain Domain class, there were multiple ways, among which the most common was to go through first race refinement and without any class. There is a chance for the inert Domain genes to resurface during race refinement.

The other methods were to use external drugs or experiments that will be super hard for current players to reach.

And it's not like this was a strong class because of its rarity. From Girisia's viewpoint, Domain is too random without a proper legacy knowledge to support it. It has no centralized power system when compared to Externalist and Mutation. Both of whom are paths that have been used by many and revised with time, perfecting it with time and optimizing them in the process.

HandSlave: I really appreciate @StarKillerTara for your choice. And @Monketron How does it feel to see your big bucks not work in real life.

Monketron: Piss off ye' cunt. I am already annoyed by that asshat still going through experiments. Others like him have already been released, why are these NPC's not releasing him. I need to report this to the Dev team… he is so scared.. he rarely comes online now.

LadyMayFly: Hmm… doesn't this mean the tutorial players only have the option to select their respective affiliate organizations core class?…. If this is true.. I will be stuck with that crazy mutant class.

NoobsMan64: @LadyMayFly Don't worry, I think it's probably some flavor text, we won't actually suffer much from it anyways.

NoobsMan32: Seems like, I need to go to Thorn city, as I can't lick anything in a mech… At least I will get lots of tongues in the mutation path.

NoobsMan64: @NoobsMan32 STOP FOLLOWING ME YOU PERVERT!!

The players were all in their own world, enjoying it. Ignorant of the machinations that were going on in the background.

"Men!" Tarkov ordered, his grip tightened, crushing the chair handle. "It's sensitive information, leave this room and keep watch outside of the door… Don't let anyone come in."

The guards noticed the change in tone of their captain, this was not the first time they have heard this tone and hence from this experience, they knew Girisia's fate after they left.

But it was not like they cared for Girisia to begin with.

"Sir, yes sir!" They left following Tarkov's order.

"Good. Now we can talk in private properly." Girisia nodded, ignorant of the emotions Tarkov was going through.

"We should…" Girisia began his bargaining, but was stopped by a tight hand that grasped his neck and lifted him from his bed, ripping off all the cords that were on his body to check his health.

"A Utena dog dares to threaten me?" Tarkov's anger rivaled Asura, but it didn't cloud his judgment. He hacked the camera feed from the room and had activated a sound suppressing field as soon as the guards left.

Not like Girisia could even scream, even if Tarkov didn't use full force, Girisia can already hear muscles and some bones in his neck breaking. He tried to use his hands to swat away Tarkov's grip, but his hands which were nothing more than a stump made it look comical, his struggle looked like a fish out of water flapping its fins.

"Tell me, why I shouldn't end your sorry life right now." He asked, with his grip tightening on Girisia's neck, whose pressure caused the eyes of Girisia to become bloody and blood started to soon flow from his nose and ears.

"Pl…" There was no air in Girisia's lungs, no sound could even escape it. The only thing that could escape was his consciousness and the lack of oxygen to his brain helped him on that front.

But Tarkov was never a crazy guy, at least not now. Not towards a guy who was nothing more than an insect.

So he dropped Girisa back on the bed, causing his injuries to open again.

"Haaahuuuuuuu" He tried inhaling, but the swelling on his neck made it harder. 'It hurts…' Tears dropped down from his eyes. 'Breath… breath in, you goddamn lungs.' He cursed his body.

And as he exhaled, some blood also came out. 'This guy… was crazy from the start…' Girisia wanted to sleep, he really wanted to rest, he wanted to cry for the doctor, but first he needed to breathe.

It won't be wrong to say that Girisia regretted mentioning Alwaris to Tarkov. 'No matter how normal he looked, he is still the same guy that massacred entire villages.'

One's core nature can never change, Girisia learned this the hard way today. 'I should have read the wiki myself, shouldn't have believed in hearsay.'

Girisia had little exposure to Tarkov, he had only heard from other players how a good natured man Tarkov used to be during public beta after Wilis left with Tarkov's head.

'Now… What should I do, will he listen to what I have to say?... Think Girisia, think.' Countless thoughts formed up in his head, he was trying to find a way out of his current predicament.

But Girisia knew that none of his ideas would work against someone as bloodthirsty as Tarkov.

"It seems, this much time should be enough. Now answer me… Who sent you here, how many people know about me, how did you find me and what are you Utena bastards planning to do. And last but not least… What are these anomans?" Tarkov said after seeing some color return to Girisia's face.

'So that's it huh…' After his brainstorming session, Girisia knew he needed to expose some part of his knowledge. He was cornered and he was not smart enough to find a way out of this situation.

"In the next 25 days…" Girisia coughed, spitting out some blood once again. "Riber city will be raided… by a fiend grade mutant."

Hearing these words, Tarkov got confused, as some things didn't add up.

"Since when did Utena dogs start to attack human settlements? And how are they able to control the mutant beast?" Tarkov questioned, now that he got his first answer, it only confused him further.

"I… I haven't stopped speaking…" Girisia said as he rubbed his neck with his stumpy left hand.

"In that attack, more than…. two hundred soldiers will fall. And no, this is not the work of Utena." Girisia specified. He was planning to expose some vital information to the guy who came close to killing him.

"Are you saying anything to save your skin now?... if the Utena is not behind this, how did you know about this raid?" Tarkov wanted to add the mutant raid part being lies conjured by Girisia, but remembering the high rate of gore nests that have been popping up close to Riber city, he was not sure about it.

"Hmph!" Girisia snorted, wiping his tears away from his face. "I don't need… anyone's support to know things. I just know it…" Girisia said in his gypsyy voice as he tried to look at Tarkov's bloody face, but all he could see was a blurry outline of a person.

Look your opponent in their eyes when speaking a lie, it's a sign of confidence and even your opponent will start to consider lies as truth.

And Girisia was trying to do just that, it was a tactic he used with everyone when lying, including his family.

But for the first time, he has used this tactic while speaking the truth.

"So you claim that you possess the power to see into the future?" Tarkov came to this conclusion from Girisia's words, from the way Girisia had acted during his time in barracks, the knowledge of Utena and his claim of the future raid. This was the only way someone of Girisia's stature could know all of this. 'But it's still a bit too far-fetched.'

"Do you really take me for a fool?" Tarkov was not gullible, he can never believe claims like these so easily. Hence to make Girisia speak some real truth, Tarkov moved his hand and placed it on Girisia's leg.

"Start coming clean now! Or I will break every bone in your body." Tarkov threatened, while breaking his thick bone in the process.

'Huh?... It's not as painful… anymore.'

:"Hah!... you can break each and every bone… in my body, for what I said is… true to begin with." Cried Girisia, scorn flooding from his expression.

"But I understand, you need conclusive evidence… as proof." Girisia said in understanding. "Let me tell you something about yourself… About how you plan to kill commander Yoshikov in the next few days." These words were like a bomb that caused Tarkov to stumbled back in horror. It was true that he planned to kill Commander Yoshikov who will arrive to Riber city under the orders of Citdel, to oversee the management of Anomans.

This assassination was the reason why he initially asked about anomans from Girisia, as he wanted to use these immortal beast in his plan, but he found things from Girisia that he never even think in his wildest dreams.

And seeing this blurry figure stumble in his vision, Girisia knew that this was his chance. "And Captain Tarkov, I also know that you will fail… Fail so badly that your origins will be exposed to the whole world and you will be nothing more than a homeless dog by then."

'A crazy soulless dog that killed innocents.' Girisia wanted to add, but he didn't. He knew what to say and what not to say during this sensitive bargaining session where his life depended on his opponents mood.

"But… I… can help!" He ended his argument.
