Girisia never forgot his original identity, how his fellow beggars were surprised when the crazy hobo who he used to be suddenly started to talk in intelligible words. He had learned the true identity of this beggar from them and now he knew the reason for his craziness too.
'Well, such is fate.'
Girisia was surprised to learn this information, but he was not devastated as Tarkov assumed he would be. Because to him, it didn't matter.
"Five months are more than enough for me captain and I don't need your charity, you just need to fulfill my request before I tell you how to capture Yoshikov," Girisia said in a calm face.
'Heh! Fooling me with regeneration serum, this thing may be able to fix most of my problems and even extend my life for a few more years, but it's just that, an extension.' Girisia didn't care for Tarkov's suggestion which caused some dissatisfaction in him.
"Think about it again Korus, I know you love your life a lot and expect to use the item you are searching for to help yourself." Tarkov somewhat understood why Girisia refused something as good as regeneration serum that all mortals vie for. And the reason was none other than his request.
"But what you may have seen in your visions can be false, it might not exist or you may have misunderstood some things. At least with the serum, the serum can assure you a longer life." Tarkov didn't want to go to Hermat forest and it was not because of the danger, but his innate dislike for the power that resulted in the massacre of his tribe.
"If it doesn't work then so be it, my conditions remain the same." Girisia didn't move an inch. He had already experienced pain, again and again, he won't mind experiencing some relief from pain. Who knows, he may go further back into the future or reincarnate as a dog.
At this moment, death didn't scare him much. The only thing he feared was pain, which too was slowly starting to lose its meaning to him.
"Guess, we both can't come to an understanding," Tarkov mused. He was a bit disappointed.
"Yes, it seems we can't." Girisia agreed. Then he continued in a rejuvenated tone. "We should change the topic then."
"To what?" Asked Tarkov.
"How should we deal with the interrogators?" Girisia stipulated the 'we' part in his sentence with mild amusement. "I already had a simple plan to feed them tidbits of knowledge that will be useful while also being completely hard to find the source of."
"All I need is your help in stopping them from directly scanning my mind." He requested.
"That won't be too hard." Tarkov understood the bottom line of the intelligence department. They would leave Girisia alone after he pukes everything useful he knows and using a brain scan is the last of their methods in extracting information.
"But it's not the Intelligence you should be worried about." Once again, Tarkov became the bearer of bad news.

"Ooh! These aberrations have learned to fight." The wolf-woman ruminated with a childish delight, her legs jumped from branch to branch among the trees causing paranoia among motherless aberrations that were trying to aim their makeshift bows at her.
"Bwhahaha! Good, good, the more you fight, the more enjoyable it will be for me." Her cries echoed in the forest, scaring the players who were just hunting some food.
The planet of Danav was a savage one. Due to players being deemed unnatural by the native intelligent species of this planet who were only called as Trogoldi, they were one sidedly hunted by the natives and called slurs like motherless and aberrations due to their unique ability to come back to life.
"You hunted the gift of this land to fill your motherless stomach, let me hunt you to return that favor back." A wolf's howl was followed by her words which attracted this transformed trodoldi warriors companion
Which was just a pack of direwolves.
But fighting this group of wolves was already a huge undertaking for these players who were still only level three at the moment.
With their crudely crafted weapons, the group of eight decided to fight these four wolves and it was not a fight one may say an epic battle. As the immature group that has just learned to fight started to show their lack of experience with each strike that failed and each of their members that turned into food for the wolves.
Even with their giant body that was bigger compared to normal humans, they were still treated like children by the wolves, which amused the trogoldi warrior above the branches a lot.
She loved to see the struggle these weaker abominations of nature were going through, but what she loved to see more was their death at the jaws of her family.
She could feel the happiness of her family, how they loved to play with them, how they cherished the soft meat of these abominations and how much they wanted to make her feel proud.
And in her blind pride, she didn't notice it but a particular player. Who, either due to luck or a fluke, suddenly penetrated the skull of a wolf from his eye-socket, killing it instantly.
"YOU DARE!" She felt the stabbing pain in her eyes, the emptiness caused by loss, she felt the life of one of his children end and she was too late due to her own pride.
There was not much to say, this farce of a battle was going to end.
The wolf-woman jumped from the trees down on a player who was flailing his spear like a stick, crushing him into a paste. The impact of which caused his corpse to explode and all his meat and bones splintered in the whole area.
"MY CHILD… You bastard! Killed her!" Shee didn't cry, the Trogoldi don't cry, what they got was angry and angrier with time.
"Run… this is the chance." The leader of the group ordered and others followed instantly, as they were going to run whether they received any orders or not, they still cared for their experience points.
The wolf-woman had long heard of their desire to escape or at least, part of it. The player's words still sounded somewhat intelligible from time to time as if they were speaking in their own tongue and this reason was why the Trogoldi warriors were easily able to identify them.
But their escape was cut short as the female warrior jumped to the fallen child and took out the spear stuck in her eyes, her fresh blood was still flowing from the socket and some of her brain still attached to the spearhead.
"Go stop them from escaping… and be careful," She asked his remaining family with a sad voice as she lifted the spear which killed the female wolf and jumped toward the player at the farthest end.
"There is no escape." The spirit of the wolf took over her body, causing her beastification to intensify, making her more of a werewolf than a wolf-woman.
Reaching the farthest player, she swung this makeshift spear which was only good to hunt small animals to burst the player's head like a melon.
And she didn't stop to relish in death, she only promised. "Don't worry pima, they will all die."
There were only three players left in the area, among which two were soon hunted by three of the wolves while they all ignored the last player who killed their sister.
For she was the wolf-woman's own hunt.
"You don't fear death, then let me make you experience something worse than death." The Girl that was running for her life, looked at the beastly woman with infatuation, she was not scared of the war goddess who wore the skin of a bear on her body. Instead she hit the recording button and started to show the world the wild beauty that was on the planet of Danav.
*****
In another corner of the planet of Danav where the player barely escaped with their life after experiencing a similar situation as the previous group. They stumbled upon something special.
Something that will make all of this misery all the more worth it.
