NeverSayPPagain: So I just experienced my first rain in this place. When they mentioned it was a post-apocalyptic world in a state of recovery, I didn't feel much, but now I regret choosing this world.
GrannyRussia: Why being a crybaby now, our start may not be as good as those knight and magic players, doesn't mean our server is shit. At least our setting is more interesting and comes with a new power system, unlike those knight and magic guys.
ILoveHoles: Well among the three starter planets, we are not in the worst situation though. Since the guys on the beast planet have been hunted by some of the native non-stop since they first spawn in their world, we should be feeling lucky. Even those knight and magic players have their own problems to face. Our main priority should be to enter the city at the moment.
SnottySnotMountain: +1 to the holes guy, and I already entered the city btw… Sucks for all of you guys. And yeah, I also got a mission with 200exp after completion. The devs probably fell for my charm and gave me easy entry and experience.
GrannyRussia: @SnottySnotMountain, how did you get in and what were the requirements to get that quest?
Monketron: Oye @SnottySnotMountain! You got the game key from me. Won't you even tell your brother how you did it?
CurryWarrior: Don't listen to that snotty retard, its true we have entered the city, but they are doing the same kind of experiments like they did in the thorn spawn point. I have just been killed by them, dunno what they are doing with my sacred body.
Monketron: Well, I didn't expect much from that guy… I should have sold that key instead of giving it to this unreliable asshole.
GrannyRussia: @Monketron Give me the address of that guy… I wanna nuke his house.

"Sir, we captured three of these "anomalous" beings. But the odd thing is, instead of fighting back, they followed us on their own accord and seemed to be happy about it. All three of them are showing signs of mental illness and paranoia as they sometimes speak in air in their weird language. And they also seem to lack any survival instincts." Varanasi narrated the events from the report while looking at the live feed of two players who were acting speaking in the air while the third female player was going through dissection.
"Mr. Varanasi, these beings can resurrect from death, do you think we can even cause them a little bit of fear? It should be us who should fear their immortality." A woman in long gray overcoat and thick glasses retorted in an annoyed tone.
The woman was only known as Farsight and was the head researcher of Riber city research division. She looked to be in her thirties with little fat on her sides due to lack of exercise due to her job. And even though she was two heads shorter than Vanaras, there was nothing but contempt in her voice when she spoke to him.
"As for fear from pain, I don't think they feel much of it after a certain threshold is crossed over. These beings are completely different from the races that we have discovered until now, they may look the same, but they are not. These beings don't posses any of the sexual organs and even their digestive track close off when close to reaching 90% towards excretion. Where their food goes, we don't know… Even…"
Before she could continue, she was interrupted by the mayor Wilkis who was also present in the room. "Miss Farsight, how they shit or make love is none of my concern. All I want to know is the reason for their resurrection. There is nothing free in this world, what are they giving up to revive again and again? And whether these immortal beings are causing harm to the city?
These were the main concerns of Wilkis, he has been watching countless screens for a while now and it would be a lie to say he was not worried . And Vanaras, though worried, had a small smile on his face, he seemed happy seeing the mayor shut down Farsights ramblings.
Farsight on the other hand was left flagerfasted for a bit after the mayor's words, but then as if nothing happened, she focused on the mayor's concern gladly, "From what I can tell, these beings are not as dangerous as we assumed before and are even stupid to some level. They may be able to speak our tongue, but they are nothing like us. They also have their own language which sounds like screeches that they use when talking among themselves, so that may pose some problems but our people are trying to learn the patterns of that language as we speak."
"For their immortality, there is nothing we can find, the only thing I am sure is that this Immortality does come at a price though we don't know what, but some of them look worried when dying and curse out loud in their language when they are revived again." Farsight said while lifting her specs up.
"As for the danger that these people may pose, the chance is not high, their immorality has killed their sense of urgency and the being naturally stupid doesn't help them much."
"Also one more common thing among these people, they keep requesting for work, it's as if they were born with the one goal to work for people, I don't know if it is some joke or what… but they seem obsessed with getting jobs from people."
At this point, Farsight paused for a bit. "There is also one problem, one of the samples we collected doesn't seem that great, it's the one who calls himself Snotty Mountain. It seems he is a bit more on the spectrum when compared to others of his kind. He may not be a good subject for a psychiatric evaluation."
The two listening to Farsight had long gotten used to the bizarre naming sense of these bizarre beings, that are now being called Anomans by the researchers which was short for Anomalous humans. They have also summarized that maybe in the culture of Anomans, the stupider the name one has, the more respect one gets.
"I think a few more samples may be needed for the rest of the test." Farsight ended her words and looked at the mayor for his consent of her request.
Though the one to speak first was Vanaras. "Getting new samples won't be that hard considering how excited they are at the prospects of getting experimented on. If these people can be properly trained, they can be proved to be great assets in the military too." Vanaras suggested with an impish smile on his face to the surprise of Farsight, as since an earlier incident, both rarely agree on topics. So this was the first time in a long time for this to happen.
But her surprise toward Vanaras's support was for not long as all the three people in the room saw that the body of the female Anoman disappeared from the dissection table.
"What?... So this is the revival of theirs?" Wilkis said with interest, he has seen recordings of this happening multiple times, but this was the first time it has happened in front of his eyes.
"She is probably back in her cell." Farsight said changing the screen to a small cell room where the previous Anoman really did appear back to. "Though we still don't know how the revival works. It seems they are reborn at the place which they deem safe and this Anoman considered the prison cell to be her safe place."
Wilkis listened to Farsight's assumptions but his focus was on the female player on the screen, he could see how she was talking in the air and a horrific idea bloomed into his head. "Farsight, I don't think it's paranoia when they speak into the air. They are communicating telepathically or using something similar."
In his years of experience, WIlkis has seen all kinds of mutant races with bizarre abilities and one that possesses telepathy was not unique, so he was easily able to see certain similarities between the actions of the player and the race he once met that had the same abilities.
But before the two in the room can digest this idea, Wilkis continued. "No need for any more test subjects, make do with what you have." WIth an apathetic tone the mayor ordered Farsight, putting off her request, but he didn't put off certain suggestions he heard from Vanaras. "Go round them all up and send them to the barracks outside of the city. Keep them away from the city or now and assess their threat level in barracks."
"If these foolish beings label the barracks as their safe place, it's all for the good. They will keep reviving back in the barracks and hence will be easier to manage."

'Hah! I knew it. That ranker from Russia was really here.' Girisia rejoiced. He remembered how in the past, he came close to making friends with a ranker of her caliber, but due to a conflict he had with his older brother, this small friendship never had a chance to blossom. As it was usual, he was on his brother's side during this said conflict.
'If I remember correctly, GrannyRussia's original trait was "A Blast from the past" and I need the help of this ability if I want to acquire that legacy class.'Girisia though as he looked at his current experience points that he earned today.
[Exp points: 1086]
[Quest left: 1/day]
'So much in just a day, it took me 6 months for that 21exp.' He has learned a few things today after the extensive use of this system. The system is not simple or overpowered as he has assumed before. He can't give out experience for free to others and double it. There is an experience threshold which each kind of mission has, one can't use a massive amount of experience as a gift for a simple mission or a low amount of experience as a price for a hard mission.
The second requirement is to give out another prize beside experience, the experience can't alone act as a quest reward, an item of similar worth, an information of the same level or similar kinds of rewards are needed before he can give out missions.
These requirements are the reason why he didn't try to approach GrannyRussia so early, as the kind of quest he wanted to give will require a lot of experience that he didn't have neither did he have any equal level prize. And standing beside her were his siblings, Greya, his older sister and his streamer brother.
Though he couldn't go out and approach them anymore, Girisia was really thankful for the nine victims of his who let him test his quest system on themselves.
So with nothing left to do and saving last quest for emergency, he stood close to the entrance in player clothes that he "stole" from Spoon and waited for the gates to be opened. As from what he remembered, those players that stayed close to the city for long were rounded up by the Riber city Militia and forced to fight for the city as serfs to earn their keep. After the war that will start in a month ended, the Mayor of the city gave the player their citizenship on account of their fighting and sacrificial spirit and applauded them for their bravery.
It was also then that the public beta ended after 4 days of their freedom.
This beta was a super success, such a huge success that the Nirvana's stock blew up and a civilian version of the game was launcher by the company to be used in office environment that utilized the automation technology and 1:8 time differential to its advantage, hence bring huge boom to the robotics and automation industry in its wake too.
Nirvana alone changed the whole human world.

On a certain corner, away from the ranker group, Spoon now led a group of 8 players who supported their 9th member. While Spoon being the leader asked a question he had asked all the members of this group. "What kind of disgusting thing did that beggar make you do?"
Unknown to Girisia, his experiments have traumatized some players, among which was a person who didn't get his headbuster pistol that he was promised before, the only thing he got was 200 experience and loss of few teeth.
