Chapter 3
Regina and I had been texting for four months. I was in love, she was trying to keep pretending she wasn't, everything was going great. Until the day Henry ran away.
The morning Henry ran away, I woke up and immediately sent a quick text to Regina.
Me- Good morning, Regina! I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day!
Then I worked out on my treadmill, showered, ate breakfast, then did my beauty routine. I recorded a video of me dancing to Turning Page, and posted it as my video of the day. Then, after touching up my makeup I picked up Regina's daily bouquet of flowers- hyacinths (pink, all the flowers I send her are always pink) and finished the drive to her office.
"Good morning, Mayor Mills, here's today's haul," I set it on her desk and she smiled.
"Thank you, dear," she read the note for the day. "I'm running out of places to put the flowers."
"I'll tell her to ease up," I said, making a mental note to mix in chocolates and gifts.
"Wait, you know who it is?" she asked in surprise.
"Of course, why else would I be carrying in the flowers every morning?" I poured her tea. "I pick up the flowers to take to you every morning."
"Well, thank you for your help," she mused. "And yes, please tell her to start sending them less often."
"What kind of chocolates do you prefer?" I scrolled through my phone, pretending to text the mystery woman while I opened up my notes app. "She's gonna start sending other stuff."
"Just not white chocolate," she said, smiling wide. "She doesn't have to send me anything else."
"Regina, this girl is head over heels for you. She's gonna send stuff," I smiled at her.
"It seems she's rich, too," Regina said. "Flowers aren't cheap, and she sends three dozen a day."
"Again," I said, writing down her messages, "Head over heels."
She smiled to herself that satisfying smile I dream about constantly. "So, what are the messages for today?"
"A Miss Mary Margaret Blanchard said she needs you to call her back right away," I said, "She seemed pretty upset."
"Can you call her?" Regina got a look on her face that oozed pure rage. If looks could kill. "I need to make more coffee."
"Sure thing," I said, eager to please.
"Hello? Mayor Mills?" Mary Margaret said from the other end.
"This is her assistant, Mayor Mills is currently busy, how can I help you?"
"Um… well, Henry didn't show up to school today. I was wondering if he was home sick with her?"
I cupped the receiver and turned to Regina. "Hey, Regina, is Henry sick?"
"No, he's at school, why?" her beautiful face was marred with concern.
"I'll find out," I went back to Mary Margaret. "No, he's not at home sick."
"Well, then, where is he?" Mary Margaret was panicking now.
"Miss Blanchard, go teach. Everything is going to be fine. I'll call you when I have news, I promise."
I didn't wait for a reply, I just hung up. Regina was looking at me, terror in her eyes. I pulled up a chair next to mine and patted it. She silently sat, and I held her upper arms gently while I explained.
"Regina, before I tell you this, you need to understand that everything is going to be just fine. Do you understand?" She nodded, so I continued. "Henry is not at school. And since he's not home sick, we do not know where he is. I am going to call the Sheriff right now, and we'll start looking for him right away, all right?"
She nodded once, twice, three times, and kept nodding, then I gently put my hand on the back of her head and pulled her forward into a hug. I held her tightly while she sobbed, and I rubbed her back slowly when I felt her breathing pick up, trying to bring her out of her panic attack.
"Regina, shh, shh dear, we'll find him, shh," I squeezed her tighter and pet her hair. "Regina, everything's going to be alright."
When I started to slightly calm her down, I held her hand tightly while I called the Sheriff, who promised to come to Regina's house to talk before going to find Henry.
"He wants to talk to you before he looks to see if he can get any ideas as to where he could have gone," I got her things together and put her purse in her lap where she sat. "Do you want me to go with you? Or you can come to my place."
She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and, I couldn't help it, I started crying too. I couldn't bear to see her cry. "Would you? Take me to your place?"
"Of course, Regina," I whispered, "Let's go. I'll drive."
I helped her into my car and drove her to my house. I unlocked the door and put my arm around her to support her as we walked to the couch and I set her down. I asked If I could get her anything, and when she said she was thirsty I brought her some water and she drank while I rubbed slow circles on her back. Eventually the Sheriff got there, asked a few questions, then left. Afterwards I put on some music, hoping to distract her while I sat, holding her hand.
"I need her," she whispered, and brought out her phone.
"Who, Regina?"
She stopped tapping on the screen then set her phone down next to her on the couch. "My mystery girl."
My heart stopped when my second phone pinged on the counter behind me. Regina slowly looked over at it. "You gonna get that?"
I walked over and picked it up while she stared at me. It's obvious now, right? She has to know? I read the message.
Regina- Henry's missing, I don't know what to do. I need you.
What else could I do? I looked her in the eyes, and texted her back.
Me- Everything's going to be all right. I'm right here. I love you, Regina.
Her phone pinged, and she read the text. Her eyes widened. She looked up at me, cleared her throat, and whispered, "Hello, Mystery Girl,"
"Hello, Regina," I whispered back. I slowly walked forward, searching her copper eyes for a hint of what she could be feeling. "I was hoping to win you over before you found out."
I slowly lowered myself to sit on the couch next to her, and she turned to face me. "It's you," she whispered.
"It's me," I nodded. "I know this is a terrible time for you to find out, I should've known better than to leave it with the ringer on-"
She pulled me forward by the edges of my blouse and pressed her lips to mine. I immediately melted to her, pulling her closer and kissing her back, slowly, gently, attempting to pour every ounce of my love for her into each kiss. Much too soon, she pulled away. She didn't say anything until her breathing slowed.
"You won me over, trust me," I gave her a quick, light brush of her lips. "How could you be so patient?"
I ran my hands through her hair and reveled in the sensation. "Honestly? I have no clue. This is so new to me," I kissed her temple, her cheek, the tip of her nose. "I'm used to casual sex and instant satisfaction."
"Look at me, reforming you," she trailed her fingers from my cheek, down my neck, along my side, down to my waist, then back to my face. I shivered at her touch. But this wasn't right. I couldn't pressure her into doing this, not with her son missing.
"Let me take you home, love," I stood up. "Sheriff Graham Is going to bring Henry to your house when he finds him, not mine."
I took her home and we settled on her couch. I knew she was upset about her son, so I thought It would be best to not try to kiss her again. So, I put on a movie on the tv while I let her lean against me and I pet her hair. It didn't take long for her to start panicking gain, and I held her tight and did my best to comfort her and calm her down. About an hour later we heard commotion outside, so I went to the door with Regina at my heels and opened it.
Regina responded before I did. "Henry!" she cried, and ran to him. I was the first to notice the tall blonde behind him.
When Henry ran inside, I followed him up the stairs to make sure he was okay. He was on his bed when I caught up with him, backpack thrown across the room.
"Henry? Are you all right?" I stood in the doorway.
"Maddie? What are you doing here?" Henry looked up.
"Your mother as very upset. You really stressed her out when you left, Henry. I drove her home in my car and stayed with her to make sure she was all right," I gestured toward the bed. "May I come in?"
"Yeah," he said softly, and I walked in to sit on the bed beside him.
"So, that was your birth mother?" I looked over at him.
"Yeah," he sniffed, and I handed him a tissue from my purse.
"What happened?" I searched in my purse for a mint and popped it in, then offered one to him.
"I took a bus to boston and found her," he said. "She needs to break the curse, I got her to bring me back. She needs to stay in town, and bring back the happy endings."
Regina mentioned Henry's fairy tale theory. "Is she going to stay?" If she did, it would break Regina's heart.
"I don't know," he looked up. "I told you to stay away from the Queen."
"Your mother? She's my boss, kiddo," I pet his hair. "Also, she's a really great person."
He sighed, and shifted in the bed to get under the covers. "Don't say I didn't warn you."
I smiled. "Go to sleep Henry," I stood up, turned the light off as I left his room, "And be nice to your mother tomorrow. You really scared her tonight."
I made my way down the stairs back to the front room, where Regina was showing the blonde out. When she shut the door, she turned back to me.
"He's okay," I said. "He's in bed."
"You didn't tell him, did you?" her eyes widened in alarm. "I don't know what this is yet, and I don't want to tell him before-"
"I told him that I was here because I was making sure you were all right because you were very upset," I lightly grabbed her forearms and pulled her foreward till our foreheads and noses were touching. "And, maybe we should talk about what this is."
He breathing sped up, and I brushed a light kiss over her lips. "I- I don't know."
"Shh, darling, calm down," I kissed her forehead, and pulled her into a hug. "I really would love to date you, and be your girlfriend when you're ready, but that's only if you want." I pet her hair.
She swallowed loudly, and whispered, "I want that."
I kissed her in earnest, exaltant, and picked her up and spun her around. She giggled around my lips as I let them trail along her jaw, down her neck, and when I reached her collar she pushed me lightly back.
"Not- not now," she whispered, breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry," I whispered, burying my face in her hair to hide my self- consciousness.
"Don't be," she reassured, and this time she was petting my hair. "I'm just… not tonight."
"Fine with me, dear," I smiled at her.
She nodded and smiled back. "So, how do I tell my son I have a girlfriendI?"
"I don't know," I said seriously. "Maybe we can tell him tomorrow morning. You could introduce us?"
"In the morning? Like you'll come over?" She asked, surprised.
"Or you can come over to my place," I suggested. "I'll make you guys breakfast."
She considered it briefly. "That sounds good," she finally said, smiling.
"Good," I replied. "So what now?"
She stood there for a moment, measuring me up with her eyes. Then her hand reached out to find mine, then she began walking up the stairs, pulling me along. My heart sped to a frightening rate when she opened the door to her bedroom and pulled me inside.
"We're not having sex," she whispered in the dim light of her lamp. "But, we are going to sleep together."
I stood, like a deer caught in headlights, as I watched her gather silk pants and a silk long sleeved button down, then a second pair. She tossed the Black ones at me, and kept the silver ones for herself.
"Put those on," she waited until I nodded and she smiled at my awkwardness. "I'll be right back." She walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.
I shook my head to clear it, then started to tear off my blouse, then switched to the shirt she gave me. I let the scent wash over me, Regina's scent, and then changed my pants. I kicked them into a lumpy pile next to her bed, and Regina asked if I was done. I told her I was, and she opened the door and crossed in her silk pajamas and climbed onto the bed, then patted the spot in front of her. I joined her there, and took a deep breath.
"I've been waiting for you," she whispered, and leaned forward to kiss my cheek. "You texted me for four months, not telling me who you were, making me wait and wait," her kisses traveled down my neck. "And now, I'm gonna make you wait."
"I'm sorry," I whispered back.
"You should be," she replied, then her lips met mine. I pulled her in, gently but eagerly, and she pushed me down on my back. I held her back securely and kissed her deeper. I was never letting go of her. She was so perfect, she was beautiful and smart and driven and she loved her so much. I held her tighter. If I let go, I would float away.
Regina eventually broke off to catch up on her breathing, and she set her head on my chest while i pet her hair with one hand and rubbed her back with the other.
"Every day you surprise me at how I can learn to love you even more," I said between gasps for air.
She chuckled that sexy, throaty chuckle I can't get out of my head. "If i didn't know any better, I'd say you think I'm a good kisser."
"Oh, that's definitely true," I said, "But there are other things, too."
She shifted so we were more comfortable and pulled the covers over us. "Like what?" She turned the lamp off.
"For one, you're the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on," I said, pecking her on the cheek. "You're also smart, driven, so damn strong,"
"Mmm," she sounded tired. "Goodnight, Maddie."
"Goodnight, Darling," I whispered, and let myself fall asleep.
The next morning I rolled over to an empty bed. I sat up slowly, looking for Regina. I found her in a robe sitting on a sofa toward the side of the room, poring over a children's book.
"Morning, beautiful," I whispered, and kissed her neck.
Morning," she whispered, not looking up from the book. I rubbed her back.
"Should I sneak out the window?" I joked, wondering how she wanted me to get to my house.
"We'll be there in an hour and a half," she murmured. "And yes, the window."
"All right, dear," I kissed the top of her head. Why was she so obsessed with that book? "See you soon."
I carefully climbed out her window and drove home. I worked out on my rower for a half hour, then showered, got dressed, and put my makeup on. I set out ingredients for breakfast while I waited for Regina and Henry. They were running late, so I mixed batter and put eggs and bacon on frying pans. I had the eggs and bacon plated when the doorbell rang.
"Hey," Regina smiled tiredly at me when I opened the door. "Sorry we're late."
"It's no problem, come on in!" I stepped aside to let them through the door. I helped Regina out of her coat and hung it up. Henry tossed his to me and I hung that up as well.
"So," Henry looked up at me. "Why are we here?"
"We'll talk about that when it's time for breakfast," I replied. "The last of it's in the oven, until then we can do whatever."
"This is normally around the time you make your videos, right?" His eyes lit up.
"Yeah, Henry," I chuckled. "You a subscriber?"
"Yes," he nodded. "Can I watch you make a video?"
"Henry!" Regina said in surprise.
"Oh, no, it's totally fine," I smiled. "Let's go."
I made my way to the recording studio and Henry followed excitedly along, and Regina followed hesitantly behind.
"I'm in Maddie Cambridge's recording studio!" he said in awe. "What kind of video are you gonna do today?"
"You can pick. I have a song ready, and a dance too. But we can do something else, too," I powered on my computer.
"I haven't heard a song from you in awhile," Henry turned on my RECORDING led sign that I put on in all of my videos, and sat in a chair I had off to the side.
"All right," I said, powering up my microphone and sound board. "I wrote a song recently for someone, I'll do it today."
"Is it for your mystery girlfriend none of your fans know about?" He swung his legs in the chair while I grabbed my cello off the wall.
"Yes, it is, and if you're good, I'll tell you who it is," I winked at him and his eyes went wide.
"So, I've got some percussion but I already have that on a loop. I've got the piano recorded too. So now," I found the click track and pressed a button that turned on a sign that said Quiet on Set in LED letters. "I've just gotta play this, then sing along."
I played the click track and played along with it, trying to impress Regina with each stroke of my bow. It was a ballad to her, the notes of the cello meant to reach out and envelop her. When I finished, I stopped and hit play while I put it away. Sounded good, no background noise. I turned off my quiet sign and layered it over the Piano and Percussion tracks. I beckoned Henry over.
"So, you see, I have to make sure it all flows together," I pointed to the screen. "If anything goes over I can clip out the note, or speed it or slow it down by a percentage to make it fit."
"That's so cool," He marveled. "Can I try?"
I pushed the mouse to his hand. "Go for it."
Henry had a surprisingly good ear, and fixed a few things before giving it back to me to finish it off.
"You're gonna sing now?" Henry asked excitedly.
"Yes," I replied, and turned my quiet sign back on. I winked at Regina before turning back to sing my lyrics into the mic. I was partially performing for the camera, because it was recording me visually as I sang.
I played it back, and looked back at Regina who had tears in her eyes. "What?" I asked defensively.
"The words," she said. "They're just so beautiful."
I put together some finishing touches, then let Henry press the Upload button.
"So, you wanna go eat now?" I asked, turning off my equipment.
"Yeah," he jumped out of his chair. "That was so cool! Watching it all happen behind the scenes like that. So awesome."
"Well, I'm glad you had fun," I walked to the kitchen and started plating food. I pointed to the dining room table. "I'll start bringing food over, have a seat."
Regina sat in the chair next to mine and Henry sat across the table from us. I set plates down in front of each of them and sat down.
Regina started while I was sipping my coffee. "So, Henry, honey, I actually brought you here for something else."
"Why are we here then?" Henry asked, taking another bite of the danish pancakes I made.
"We're here because Maddie and I have something that we need to tell you," she shifted nervously in her chair.
"O-kay…" Henry set down his fork. "What's going on?"
"Your mother and I… well," I squeezed her hand and continued, "I started sending her flowers a few months ago and we've been talking ever since, and now…" I looked to her to define it.
"We're seeing each other," she said quickly.
"So, you brought me here to have breakfast… and to tell me you're dating her?"
"Yes," I squeezed Regina's hand. "We didn't want to keep this a secret from you."
"Well, I think it's cool that you're dating someone famous," Henry picked his fork back up and took another bite. "And she's nice, and she's a good cook."
I laughed. Not that it was funny, more in relief. "So… you're all right with this?"
"I told you to stay away from the Queen, but if you're gonna try to make her happy I'm not gonna stop you," he finished his plate. "Is there any more?"
"Uh, yeah, kiddo," I walked to the other room to get the plate of pancakes and the other plate of eggs and bacon, then set it on the table. "Eat up."
I turned to look at Regina and our eyes met and I grinned at her. She smiled back shyly.
When everybody had eaten I turned on the TV and let enry pick something to watch while I did the dishes. Regina walked up and leaned against the counter next to the sink.
"That went well?" I finished the last of it and started the dishwasher.
"Yeah, I think so," she let out a sigh.
"Hey," I stepped forward and wrapped my arms around her waist. "This is good."
"Right, I know," She leaned into my arms. "I'm happy."
"Okay," I kissed her forehead. "I'm glad. So, is it time to head to work?"
She sighed and squeezed me tighter. "Yeah, unfortunately."
"It's not like we don't get to spend the day together," I joked, helping her back into her coat and handing Henry his. "Whose car?"
"OOO! Yours!" Henry ran to my BMW.
I laughed and unlocked the car. Henry climbed into the backseat while I held the door open for Regina.
"I'll drop off Henry first," I started the car and made the quick trip. I decided today that being within a few minutes from every place in town was bad, because it didn't leave enough alone time with Regina. After dropping off Henry I drove to the flower shop.
"Be right back," I leaned in to give Regina a quick peck on the lips then walked in to pick up today's flowers. Red roses. I walked back to the car and handed her the bouquet. "Here you go, Dear."
"Red?" She looked up at me and, this time, after all the times of seeing that smile when I hand her the flowers and wanting to kiss her, I could. And I did.
"Yes. Red." I started the car again.
"You know, it's kind of weird now that I think about it. Not weird more like… funny. And ironic," she sat in the chair on her desk. "I've been sitting here, talking to my girlfriend, all day every day. For months."
"I couldn't risk you not liking me," I sighed and sat on the other side of the desk. "I needed to know first that we'd be a good match."
"And now?" Regina closed her planner, got up, and sat down on the couch. I followed.
"Now… well, the cat's out of the bag," I chuckled and sat next to her. I wound my arm around her shoulders and she snuggled into my side. "I think we'll be a good match, but mostly I'm gonna be terrified that I'll screw this up while at the same time loving every second because I'm with you."
She sighed and I squeezed her tighter. "You're sweeter than I deserve,"
"Actually, I think I'm the one who doesn't deserve you," I kissed her forehead.
She tilted up her lips to mine and I happily melted to her. She leaned against the arm of the couch and I followed her. I reached under her body to pull her back closer to me while I returned every kiss, pulling her closer, tighter, desperate for more-
The phone rang. "Ugh," I stood up to walk to her desk. "Killjoy."
While Regina caught her breath on her couch, I answered the phone. "Mayor Mills's office, Madison Cambidge speaking."
"Hey, Maddie? It's Mary Margaret," My eyebrows shot up.
"Hello, how can I help you?" I said, careful not to say her name and worry Regina.
"Henry isn't in class again…"
"That's not possible. I just dropped him off," Regina's smile slipped off her face and she looked at me over the back of the couch in concern.
"Well, he's not here. You might want to consider calling the sheriff again," I slammed the phone into the cradle.
"Maddie? What's wrong?" Regina was off the couch now.
"Henry's not at school," I sighed.
"What?! We watched him go in!" Regina was up now and pacing.
"Honey, It's okay. I'm gonna drive you to the Sheriff's station right now,"
She nodded over and over again, and I grabbed our purses, then her arm, and led her to my car. I drove to the sheriff's station then went back do do some work for her, try to make the day a bit easier on her. I rescheduled a meeting, made some phone calls, and filled out paperwork ad lined them up to be signed when she got back. Then, since she still wasn't back, I went to Granny's and picked up lunch for the two of us and texted her. She was home with Graham, so I drove to her place.
"Honey? I brought Granny's," The door was unlocked, so I went through the entryway to the living room.
Regina was in tears on the couch, with Graham awkwardly standing a few feet away. I set down the bags on the coffee table and sat next to her.
"Oh, Honey," I pulled her into my arms. "It's okay, we'll find him."
She sniffled and squeezed me so tight I could hardly breathe, but I didn't complain.
"I'm going to go back to the station, make some more calls," Graham said, and I heard the door close behind him.
I sighed, and rubbed slow circles on Regina's back. "You hungry at all?"
"Yes, very," She sighed. "I just didn't want to leave in case Henry came home."
"You should've texted me, I would've brought you lunch," I handed her the bag with her food in it.
"Thanks, Maddie," She stood up, "We should take this to the table."
"So, I never really asked," Regina started between bites, "Why did you move to Storybrooke?"
"I needed somewhere quiet," I explained. "My last house is… well, my fans were flocking to it on a daily basis. I needed to go somewhere else, I needed…"
"A fresh start?" Regina offered. I nodded. "I came here looking to start over, too."
"And?" this was odd. Usually people under the Dark Curse had memories as far back as they could go in that town. No moving.
"It didn't go quite as planned, at first. But then I got Henry, and now I have you," she reached for my hand. I took it eagerly.
"This went better than I hoped too. Before this, I was in a relationship. The bad kind. The dead-end kind," I sighed. "The he's-married kind."
"How did you get yourself caught up in that?" Regina looked back at me and her eyes scrambled my thoughts and I had to focus really hard.
"At first, I didn't know," I answered honestly. "Then, he led me to believe he'd leave his wife for me. And then he just didn't."
She sighed. "I've never been in that sort of situation before, but, at least you have something good now. And exclusive," She smiled up at me.
That is good," I smiled back. "And now, you have someone who would do anything for you."
She squeezed my hand again, and I got up to throw the trash away. "I hear people talking outside, love."
Regina jumped up and opened the door while I watched from the entryway. Henry ran up the stairs. I started to walk up after him but heard Regina's voice from the hall. She was yelling at Emma, so I turned around and went down the stairs and wound an arm around her waist.
Emma was walking away and I shut the door gently. "Honey, are you okay?"
"I don't know," She turned her face into my chest.
"Do you wanna go out? We can do something fun. We've got a long weekend ahead of us, we can go out of town, clear our heads," I rubbed her back in slow circles.
"Where would we even go?" She sniffled.
"New York's not too far away. Henry could see the city,"
"Ugh, that's too expensive," She shook her head and stepped away. She walked across the room to the kitchen.
"Not when you're traveling with me," I clarified. "You need some time away. Let me treat you."
"I don't know how to feel about you spending that kind of money on me, hon," Regina poured herself a glass of wine.
"Then don't think about it. I have a place there, so you wouldn't have to worry about hotels, I have a crazy amount of frequent flier miles, so I can cash those in, too," I walked behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"You're not lying, right? You actually won't be spending much money?" She offered me a glass.
"Thanks, honey. And yes. The most expensive things in New York, I have solutions for," I kissed her neck. "Don't worry. Take some time to have fun. Storybrooke won't explode while you're gone."
She considered this for a while while we finished our wine. After I had washed the glasses, she finally said, "All right,"
"Awesome!" I pulled out my phone and went through the ticket booking process. "We'll leave tomorrow at… Six am."
"I guess I've gotta go pack, and get Henry packed,"
"I can help," I followed her up the stairs and waited in her bedroom while she helped Henry pack. I heard Henry's excitement and smiled, then looked into her closet and found a rolling suitcase. I pulled it out and set it, opened, on the bed.
Three days. In New York. With Regina Mills. I tried to breathe less heavily. I thought of grabbing clothes for her, but didn't want to make her feel like I was pressuring her into anything, so I put together her toiletry kit instead. The simple task helped to calm me down, and I tucked the toiletry kit snugly in the pocket of her suitcase.
"A very vanilla item to pack, congratulations," Regina remarked behind me.
I laughed nervously. "I didn't want to make you feel pressure to wear something just because I put it in the bag, or for you to read too far into what I packed when, in all reality, I'd just be picking the first things I touch or if I see a pretty color,"
She smirked at me and walked to her dresser. "Three days, I'll wear one on the plane, so I only need to pack two outfits. It's not rocket science. Underwear drawer is here," She grabbed two and tossed them on the bed. I made sure to maintain eye contact while I folded them and placed them gingerly in the back instead of inspecting them. Two bras that I succeeded in not looking at went into the suitcase next. The worst was over. Next she tossed me a camisole, and I could actually look at this one. Black with a lace trim on the top. I added it to the collection. Socks, tights, then shoes. A pair of walking shoes, a pair of black boots with a 3 inch heel, black wedge ankle boots, and a pair of strappy black stilettos with a 5 or 6 inch heel. My eyes widened.
"Just in case," she grinned stubbornly.
"In case we need a quick way to break your ankle?" I laughed. I was just as guilty, with my 5'1" frame, of wearing deadly heels.
She just smiled and moved on to her closet. She tossed me a black skirt, a trench coat, a couple scarves, and a couple shirts.
"Honey, can you go get me some water while I finish?" Regina asked, and I hurried to do as she asked. When I got back the suitcase was zipped up and on the floor. I handed her the water and while she drank my phone rang.
"Who is it?" Regina's eyes flashed quickly with something- almost territorial?- and I checked the Caller ID.
"Oh, it's just my dad," I set the phone down next to me.
"You should answer him," she prodded. I sighed and answered.
"Hey, dad. Is it important?" It better be if he was interrupting time with Regina.
"Actually, yes," He said smugly. "The Savior is in Storybrooke."
"Dad, you're crazy. This isn't gonna…" I searched for something that wouldn't sound weird to Regina. "Storybrooke is fine."
"Maddie, you don't get it. When the Queen cast the curse, there were these two imbeciles, called the Charmings, they had a kid. She's destined to break the curse. And she came into town yesterday."
I rolled my eyes. "Dad, I'm gonna be fine. I'm getting out of town in fact. For the weekend. With the Mayor and her son," I smiled at Regina.
"She can leave?"
"Yes, Dad, of course she can leave," but then I stopped.
"I think your little girlfriend cast it," he said, matter of factly.
"Dad…" I sighed. Regina looked back at me, concerned. "I think you're right, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean I'm going back home."
"Love is weakness, sweetie. You need to get out of there," he said gently.
"How bad is it? When everything… changes," I squeezed Regina's hand.
"Queen Regina? You can handle her, no sweat. Her and the Dark One," I could almost hear him waving his hand dismissively in the air. "I just don't want you to get hurt when everyone turns on your girlfriend the moment her back is turned and her head is on a spike."
"Dad… thanks. I'll take special precautions when the time comes," Regina wordlessly offered me the water glass, which was half drank, and I took it.
"I love you sweetie. Maybe next weekend you can bring your girlfriend to visit me down here,"
"Only over my dead body," My anger boiled in my vision. As if I would fall for that cheap ploy to trap me and my girlfriend. Regina gasped. "Honey, what's wrong?"
She looked at my hand with a look of pure terror. I looked down and the water glass was boiling.
"Maddie?" Dad sounded worried.
"Oh, shit. Dad, I gotta go." I hung up. "Regina…"
"Who are you? Why can you do that?" Regina backed away from me.
"I guess the cat's out of the bag. So first off, you don't have to fear me. I would never hurt you," I set down the cup. "Second, I know Storybrooke is under The Dark Curse. And I know you cast it."
"I don't know what you're talking about," She said levelly.
"Regina, I know you. I've worked with you for a long time. I know the face you give when you know everything and don't want to reveal it," I slowly reached over, and set my hand on her arm.
"You- you can do magic? Here? How?"
"I'm… a bit different than you are. Or even the Dark One. I can… I can practice magic anywhere. I just- I don't like to. My dad- he called to tell me to get the hell out of here and come home in case the curse breaks and I'm in the middle of a war zone," I pulled her closer and, thankfully, she went willingly. "I still love you. I would never hurt you. I just… I didn't realize I was driving into a Dark Curse."
Regina studied my face. "Well," she sighed. "At least you're not the Savior."
"Do you want me to leave?" I squeezed her tighter in worry.
"No," she squeezed me back.
"Thank goodness, because I already reserved the plane tickets," Regina laughed her sexy laugh and I kissed her. She kissed me back and I stepped forward until she was pressed up against the mirror.
Her hands seized my face and I let mine fall to her waist to pull it closer to mine. I experimentally reached out a hand to feel the mirror. It was very cold, so I pulled her off it and pushed her onto the bed and crawled on top of her, holding my weight above her. She moved her hands to my back and ran them up and down, and the room got very hot very fast. I tore off my coat and she did the same.
"Jesus, why's it so hot in here?" I moved my lips back to hers and her fingers curiously traced the edges of my dress that exposed my back. She slowly slid her hand onto the skin there and the room got hotter. Eventually both hands were gripping my back and her nails dug into my skin. I shifted my mouth, not meaning to open it very far, but her tongue snaked into my mouth and I was very glad for the accident. Unfortunately, when our tongues met, the room became unbearably hot.
"Henry! Stop messing with the thermostat!" Regina pulled away to yell.
"I'm not!" his muffled cry came from the direction of his bedroom.
Regina got up and went into the hallway. She came back moments later. "It's only hot in here," she fanned her face. "And the thermostat is fine."
"Oh, shit, sorry," the room instantly started to cool as I took deep breaths and focused on something other than Regina's body. Regina laughed at me.
"I'm surprised this hasn't happened before," she sat next to me on the bed.
"Normally I'm much more in control," I chuckled softly.
"So, I'm extremely curious," Regina laid down on the bed and I did the same. "Dark or light magic?"
"Oh, um. Both? The darkest there is, mixed with the lightest of the light. Inherited from my parents," I sighed. "A fairy from the Enchanted Forest had a fling with my father so…" I shrugged.
"I have all the fairies in the Enchanted Forest trapped here," Regina explained. "Have been for the past 28 years."
"Yeah, about that," I laughed nervously. "I'm not 22, I'm about 1400 or something." But then I realized my mother would be in Storybrooke, and I scowled at the comforter.
"1400 years? That sounds lonely," she set her head on my shoulder.
"It is," I sighed. "I change my body every once in a while. Like how mortals change their hair. I change to match the trends, or just what I feel like."
"So, what do you actually look like?"
"Honestly? I can't remember," I tried to think back. "I was white. And… tall. That's all I remember." Regina laughed.
"So your mom was a fairy. Who's your dad?"
I tensed. "He's just a terrible man. That's all,"
The silence hung thick between us.
Regina set one of her hands on my stomach. "I should go back to work,"
"I moved a meeting to Tuesday and did your paperwork. I called the people on your list. You've just got to sign everything, which you can do Tuesday as well."
"You are a lifesaver," she kissed me.
"I love you," I whispered between kisses and pulled her on top of me. I roamed my hands up her back. Unfortunately, her dress covered everything. One of her hands reached down and she trailed her fingers up and down my thigh. My answering whimper wasn't fully muffled by her kisses and she teasingly moved to the inside of my thigh and slid her tongue into my mouth. I whimpered again and unconsciously spread my legs for her a few inches. I slid one hand down her back and grabbed one thigh.
Regina gasped, and her knees slid further apart on the silk sheets. I decided to tease her, sliding my fingers a couple inches farther up, then slowly bringing it back down. She groaned and her fingers inched dangerously farther upward. I let my other hand roam upwards, searched for the zipper at the top of her dress, and yanked it down, exploring the exposed skin of her back. I drank up the feeling of her skin beneath my hands, contemplating unclasping her bra. Was it time for that? Too soon? I had wanted her for so long, but we had only been seeing each other in person for a few days. Sure, we had talked dirty occasionally, but. My fingers were on their way. Screw it, she can stop me if she doesn't want me to-
"Mom!" Henry cried from outside the door. Regina sat up quick and I pulled up her zipper lightning fast.
"Yes, Henry?" I smoothed her hair and she walked to the door and opened it while I stood up and tried to look casual as I leaned against the wall.
"Can I pack my camera? I want to take- Maddie? Shouldn't you be packing?" I tried to catch my breath enough to sound normal.
"Um, yes. I- I am gonna go do that right now. And then I am going to make dinner, and your mother can call me if you guys decide you want to join me," I kissed Regina on the cheek, ruffled Henry's hair, then walked out.
"Holy hell," I breathed. "This woman's gonna be the death of me."
I went home, worked out, took a cold shower, packed for the trip, then planned dinner. I was reading in my office when Regina called.
"Hey, beautiful," I set down my book.
"Hey," Regina replied. "Can I come over at 6?"
"Of course, I'll have dinner by then," I shuffled to the kitchen to put a pot on the stove.
"It'll be me and Henry," she warned. I laughed.
"That's what I intended," I filled it with water and turned on the stove. "See you in an hour."
"Okay, see you soon," She hung up.
I poured the pasta into the water and worked on the stuffing while they cooked. I stuck some garlic bread in the oven, and tossed a small salad. When it was all done and plated, I set them on the table and picked a playlist to play while we ate. I went back to reading my book until the doorbell rang.
I opened the door and there she was, my personal miracle. "Hey, Regina. Hey, Henry," I stepped out of the way and Henry walked in, took his coat off, and I set it onto the rack. Regina stepped in and closed the door, and I helped her out of her coat and hung it up, then kissed her quickly while Henry's back was turned.
"What's for dinner?" Henry asked, and I gestured toward the table.
"Keeping it simple," I replied, taking Regina's hand as I walked to the dining room. "Mushroom ravioli, some garlic bread, and I've got a salad for you."
"Mushroom Ravioli is simple?" Henry instantly called me out on my BS. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're trying to impress my mom."
I laughed and moved my hand from Regina's to her waist. "You're not wrong."
"Smells good though," Henry sat down at his spot.
While Henry wasn't looking I turned around to kiss Regina. I hung with our noses touching. "You impressed?"
"I don't know," she winked at me. "I'm gonna have to try it first."
I pulled back her chair for her to sit, which she rolled her eyes at me for, then sat in my chair. I got myself some food and ate quietly while I waited for them to speak.
"So, we're going to New York, that's pretty exciting," Henry broke the silence.
"I was hoping it would be. Honestly, I've been missing the city lights,"
"Did you live in New York before you came here?" Regina asked between bites.
"No, I lived in LA but I've lived there before, and I often take trips to different cities," I explained. "For work."
"Right, you don't just make youtube videos, right? You'd have to travel for that," Henry nodded in understanding.
"Exactly. I was living in LA because most of the acting jobs I would take were there, except for the occasional part that would catch my eye. And I performed at a lot of concerts there," I reached for my glass and realized there wasn't anything in it, and got up. "What do you two want to drink?"
"A milkshake," Henry joked. "Or a soda."
"If it's all right with your mother, I can make you a milkshake. Otherwise, come pick out a soda from the fridge." he followed me. "Regina?"
"You got any wine?" Regina smiled.
"Red, white, or rosé?" I opened the wine fridge.
"Red," she replied.
"What year? Or do you want to come over here?"
"No, just surprise me," I brought over the first bottle my fingers touched.
I poured the wine for her and myself, then sat back down. I finished my meal while we chatted about New York and the spots we'd have to see. When we finished eating I told Henry he could play with my Xbox in the living room while Regina "helped me pack".
"I guess I never gave you the tour, but we'll get to that eventually," I opened the door to my room.
"Wow," she said, then giggled. "I didn't mean to say that out loud."
"Well, thanks," I smiled. I sat on the circular sofa in the corner of my room. She smiled her mischievous smile I so rarely see and shut the door. Oh, I'm in for it.
She slowly toured my bedroom, running her fingers lightly across the furniture. My breathing picked up speed. She finally came to sit in front of me on the circular sofa.
"So, 1400 years," she leaned over and took my hand. "That's a lot of marriages."
"No," I clarified. "Just one. A few relationships, sure. Ten or so. But I got married once and haven't since."
"Really? Why?" she looked so adorably confused.
"I thought, since I'm immortal, I could get married to whoever and it wouldn't matter," I started. "If I thought it was a match, why not just marry him? But then… My first husband was abusive. He wanted my money, my power, wanted me to use magic according to his will, and whenever I disobeyed him, he tried to hurt me. Not physically, of course, but with his words. I thought when I got married I'd make my partner immortal, to live with me. So I, like everyone else, could spend the rest of my life with someone." I sighed.
Regina squeezed my hand. "So you'll never marry again?"
"Not never, just… I'm really picky. I resolved not to marry just anyone. And to be especially careful when considering whether or not to make them immortal," I sighed. "Or to finally have children."
"Why not just adopt?" Regina asked.
"It's hard to adopt a baby when your job requires so much moving around, and you have an unexplained centuries old bank account that keeps jumping from bank to bank and a whole conspiracy against you that you're a vampire. Or time traveler. Or a zombie."
She laughed. "Fair enough,"
I shifted forward on the sofa to be closer to her. "In all of my 1400 years, in all the realms, I've never seen anyone more beautiful than you,"
She looked down with a giant grin spreading over her face. "You need to get out more."
"You see, I don't want to," I whispered, and pulled her face to mine till our lips were less than an inch apart. "Not when you're right here."
I crushed her lips to mine, keeping my secure hold on her face. Her arms wound around me and one hand, pressed low to my waist, pulled my waist dangerously close to hers. Even when our knees pushed together she pulled me tighter, so I slid one thigh between both of hers so our torsos could press together, and pulled her up to sit on my thigh. Our lips moved together in whispered unison and I let myself melt into her embrace. I would probably never understand what it was about Regina that made me melt completely into her embrace and never want to come back. Just drown in everything Regina and never resurface. I pulled away from her lips to trail kisses across her cheek to her neck, and a beautiful contented sigh escaped her lips. I pushed her down onto the sofa and held my weight over her, and her hands moved to my back. I squeezed her tighter and gently slid my tongue into her mouth. I was nervous for a second but she eagerly met mine and I relaxed.
I realized my thigh still hung between her legs, and I wondered if I could subtly have some fun with her. I shifted up and grabbed her hair, but my leg went with me and pulled up her skirt. She gripped my back tighter and I shifted back down and pressed my thigh very very lightly against her core.
Regina gasped and her lips left mine. "Maddie," I couldn't read her tone.
"Yes?" I asked sheepishly. Damn. Busted.
"Henry's here. And he's awake. If he was sleeping it'd be one thing but…"
"Right," I whispered, and pulled out of her arms. "Sorry." I sat up on the sofa and ran my fingers through my hair, fixing it.
She sat up and lightly took my hand, which I held on to for dear life. "I'm not mad," she said breathlessly. "In fact, I'm…"
"You're what?" my heart started pounding.
She pressed her lips to mine and her tongue snaked into my mouth. I couldn't help the whimper that escaped my throat and she pulled away, biting my bottom lip before she went.
"I wish he was sleeping," she whispered, and trailed one finger quickly up her thigh to brush against my panties, then quickly back down.
I swallowed the moan that was threatening to embarass me. "Me too," I ran my fingers through her hair. "I'd give anything to touch you."
She chuckled her sexy, throaty chuckle. "You'll get to soon enough," she whispered.
"I will?" I asked in surprise.
"Patience, dear. You've waited 1400 years, you can wait another day or two," she slid that finger again up its seductive path, slower this time. More pressure. When she reached my panties that were soaked through, she traced the edge of the fabric and I could feel the edge of her finger on my wet lips. I couldn't help it, this time I moaned. "Can't you?"
"Yes," I whimpered in response. I watched as she lifted the wet finger to her mouth and licked my essence off of it. I leaned forward to kiss her, and could taste myself on her tongue. I whimpered again when she pulled away. "As long as you want."
She pulled away and my eyes went wide, and my arms reached back out to her.
She stood up and when she turned around and saw my expression, she smiled. "Henry and I need to get home. If we have to leave so early, we're gonna need our sleep," she held her hand out to me and I took it and let her help me stand up.
"How am I gonna get to sleep with you leaving me in this state?" I asked playfully, and put my arm around her waist while we walked down the stairs.
"You'll figure it out," she teased.
Before we got in Henry's view I stopped her and pulled her in a tight hug. "I love you, Regina. So, so much," I kissed her cheek.
She smiled at me. "I'm well aware."
"Good," I smiled back. "I'll drive by and pick you up tomorrow morning."
"Okay," she grabbed her purse and gave me a quick kiss. "Henry, we have to get some sleep."
Henry was passed out on the couch. I giggled. "I guess he was asleep. Do you wanna make him go home or just let him sleep on the couch? I have a couple extra rooms too, he can pick one."
"I don't want to move him," she sighed. "Can I sleep here?"
"Of course!" I reassured her, excited. "I have a few extra bedrooms, you can pick your favorite if you'd like."
"Actually," Regina whispered, setting down her purse and putting a hand on the front of my dress, seizing a fistful of my skirt, "I was thinking maybe I could sleep with you?"
"Of- of course, honey," I took her hand and led her to my room. "If you want, pajamas are in the third drawer down on the dresser by the sofa, you can grab what you like." I walked into the bathroom and shut the door. I used the restroom, then quickly touched up my makeup. I opened the door and stepped out and my breath left my lungs in one gasp.
"What do you think? You're a bit smaller than me, but I think I can make it work?" Regina was dressed in a black lacy negligeé that curved and exposed her back and went up her neck. I bought it a while back but never got a chance to wear it.
"I- I think," I swallowed loudly. "I think that you are hands down the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
She stepped closer to me, "You really think so?"
I reached out to her waist and pulled her closer. "How could I not? My beautiful Regina," I lightly ran my hands up and down her sides, and she leaned in and kissed me.
"For so many years, the only word that's been attached to my name was evil," she whispered, and squeezed me tighter. "And here you are…"
"Regina, you are not the Evil Queen here," I said between kisses as I trailed from her temple to her jaw and back again. "Here, you're just Regina to me. And god, yes, you are so beautiful."
"It's so odd," Regina whispered. "A good kind of odd, though."
"What is, darling?" I asked, pulling her to sit on the bed.
"Being loved by you," she said simply.
"Well, get used to it," I replied, and kissed her lips.
Once again, I got to melt into Regina. She slid her tongue into my mouth and I let out the moan I'd been holding in. I gripped the exposed skin at her sides tightly and brought her to sit on my lap. As the minutes passed, she began to slide her hips back and forth on my thigh. I set my hand low on her waist to encourage her forward. She reached down with one hand and grabbed the hand that was on her waist and put it directly on her ass. I gasped and had to focus to get my lips to move in sync with hers again. She chuckled, and I kept pushing her further forward. She groaned, then slowed her rhythm on my thigh to a stop.
"What's wrong, love?"I replayed what we did in my head. I didn't think I did anything wrong, but-
"I just have a better idea," she said, and stood up next to the bed.
"O...kay," I was nervous. "What do you have in mind?"
"On your knees, dear," she whispered, and I was shaking with excitement. I lowered myself onto my knees before my Queen. "Good girl." she rewarded, and stroked my hair. I leaned into her touch. She took two steps forward and when I raised my head her wet centre was in full view. I pulled down the wet black panties and, I couldn't help it, raised it to my nose and inhaled her intoxicating arousal. She smelled like lavender and something spicy I wouldn't quite name… she smelled like home.
I reached out one of my hands for her to hold and steady herself while I pulled them down for her to step out of. Now was the moment of truth. I nervously looked back up to gaze at her core.
God, was Regina beautiful. Her essence was clinging between her two swollen waxed lips like morning dew on a spiderweb. A thin line of her essence was dripping down her thigh, and I stretched up to lick it from the droplet to the base. Regina hummed as if in agreement and I shivered with arousal. I didn't exactly know how to start, so I tried taking my tongue and sweeping it in a long lap from the very bottom of her wet flower all the way to her hard clit, then took the ruby red nub into my mouth and gave it a slow suck.
The moan that came from her lips made me freeze. I couldn't believe I made her do that.
"Why did you stop?" Regina asked breathlessly.
"I- I just. You. I mean, I-" I sputtered, but Regina cut me off.
"Don't stop," she begged, and seized a fistful of my hair.
I was happy to obey. I brought my mouth back to her swollen lips, spearing my tongue inside her. She hummed, but I wanted to make her moan again. I realized this wasn't going to do much, so I brought my fingers up instead, and slowly inserted one curious finger.
Regina's hot centre clamping down on my searching finger was the most erotic thing I ever felt. I groaned and curiously bent my finger to rest the tip of my finger against the front wall. She gasped and clenched tighter on me. I continued to massage the front wall, then added a second finger to join the first. The answering moan made my chest swell with something I couldn't name, and my own core clench with something I could. I moaned and leaned forward to suck her delectable cit in my mouth, while I gently added a third finger. Would it be all right? By the way she rode my gentle fingers, I assumed so. Her moans fueled my arousal, and I wondered if I would have an orgasm of my own.
I wondered if I could try something else to take her deeper. God, she was beautiful and perfect and so, so sexy. I wanted to give her more. I wanted to give her the world. I lightly bit down on her clit and she cried out. I immediately stopped.
"I'm sorry, are you all right?" I inspected, looking for blood, something to heal with a wave of my hand, but there was nothing. That doesn't mean you didn't hurt her, you idiot. You had to bite, didn't you?
"No, no that was good," she assured. "Please. Again. More."
As nervous as I was, I couldn't tell her no. I bit down again while I continued to massage her clenched core. I alternated between sucking and biting while I thrusted and massaged with my fingers. I couldn't get enough. She was too perfect and her juices were delicious and I couldn't think straight.
After a while I noticed her trembling. Her knees weren't holding her up as well as they were.
"Do you need to lay down on the bed, love?" I whispered.
"Y-yeah," she breathed. "I think so."
I stood up and gently laid her on the bed, scooted her to where her core was on the edge, and went back to work. Her helpless cries and her pleas for me to keep going drove me wild. After my last bite she cried out again and I tasted something else, something more salty, and she fell limply onto the mattress. I drank every drop, then gently removed my fingers, one by one, from her core, then licked off her salty essence.
When I crawled back onto the bed she was still panting. I pulled her up to a comfortable position and pulled the covers over us. I snuggled into her side and nuzzled her neck.
"I love you. So, so much," I whispered into her sweaty neck. "Thank you so much for this."
"Why are you thanking me? You did all the work!" Regina gripped me tightly.
"You let me have you," I whispered, feeling ridiculous at how emotional I was and trying to hide it. "My beautiful girl, and you were all mine."
She sighed happily. "You're not gonna cry, are you?"
I sniffed and kissed her neck. "Of course not."
She chuckled. "I'm exhausted. God, that was good."
"Really? I'm not very… I haven't done that before."
"Yes," she sighed and snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and squeezed her. "Goodnight, honey."
"Goodnight, Regina. Love you always," I kissed the top of her head and let myself drift to a peaceful sleep in her arms.
I woke up with a start, and for a second looked around confused, wondering what was wrong, until I heard Regina gasping for breath.
"Honey?" I grabbed her and pulled her close. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, just a nightmare," I felt hot tears on my neck. I stroked her hair.
"Wanna talk about it, love?" I kissed the top of her head, then reached over and turned on the bedside lamp.
She kept sobbing into my neck, and I kept running my fingers through her silky hair.
"Regina," I whispered desperately. "Talk to me, darling, please. Tell me what to do to ease your mind, and I'll do it." I squeezed her tighter and kissed her forehead.
"I- you- please," she sniffled and stuttered through her words. She clung tightly to me. "I… Maddie… I…"
"Tell me what to do," I whispered gently.
She sniffed. "Light off, please," I immediately turned off the light.
"I can't say it," she said, as if begging me for something. "I'm so sorry, but I can't. Not after what happened, I can't. I can't risk losing you."
"Regina, what are you talking about? I'm not going anywhere. And whatever it is, you can tell me," I kissed her face again, hunting for her lips in the darkness. "I'm not going anywhere."
"Maddie, I can't," she wasn't crying now, at least, but the distress was obvious in her voice. "If I say it, it's real."
"Darling, whatever you're talking about, unfortunately it's real no matter whether or not you admit it." I pulled a few inches away to look her in the eyes.
She sighed, and kissed my lips. She pulled away, mumbled something into my shoulder, then laid back down. "Better."
"What?" I got comfortable again.
"Nope. Not ready yet," she shook her head. I pulled her to me till our noses touched while I giggled. I kissed her soft lips.
"Are you ready to go back to sleep now? Done confusing me?"
"Yes," she sighed and I felt those soft arms resting on my back.
I stroked her hair until her breathing deppened, kissed the top of her head, then went back to sleep.
I woke up to my alarm and quickly turned it off. I looked back at Regina, still sound asleep in my bed, and bent down to give her a quick kiss on her cheek before I got up and showered and got dressed. When I finished she was still asleep, so I made my way downstairs to make breakfast.
I tried to make something that would be quick, I didn't want Regina waking up in bed alone, so I started with eggs and sausage and then made french toast. When I was just about finished Henry stirred on the couch. He got up, looked around, then called out.
"Mom?" Henry called from the couch.
"Your mother is asleep upstairs, Henry. I'm almost done with breakfast, then I'll wake her up," He walked groggily to the kitchen. "The bathroom is down the hall, first door to your right. You can take a shower or whatever else you need to do till we eat."
"Thanks," he said, and headed in the direction of the bathroom. I plated breakfast then went back up the stairs where Regina was still sleeping.
I got in the bed next to her and ran a finger down the side of her face. "Regina," I said gently, and leaned forward to kiss her. "Regina, wake up."
She groaned and rolled over on her stomach, and I rubbed her back while she slowly lifted her head from the pillow. Her eyes found mine and she smiled wide. "Mmm, morning dear."
"Good morning," I left my hand loosely on her thigh while she sat up.
"Breakfast already?" she smirked at me.
"I got to work while you were asleep," I shrugged.
"Is Henry awake?"
"Yes, I think he's taking a shower," I ran my hand up and down her thigh.
"Hm," she got on her knees on the bed and crawled seductively over to me. She kissed me and I opened my mouth for her exploring tongue. "You taste good."
My heart raced and I grabbed her hair to pull her tighter in. It wasn't long before Regina had me whimpering and groaning, wanting more. When the first whimper escaped my lips, she yanked the zipper of my dress down and with my help pulled the front off. The room started to heat up with my anticipation, and I tried to control it, but when her kisses trailed down past my neck to the front of my chest I couldn't think straight long enough to control it. She brought her lips back to mine and unclasped my bra and I smelled smoke.
"Maddie!" she snapped me to reality and the arousal cleared out of my head. I looked and her negligeé where my hands were was on fire. I quickly put it out.
"Oh, Regina, I'm so, so sorry," I inspected her side for burns, none. I waved my hand over her skin to heal anyway, nothing happened. "Thank god you're okay."
She laughed at me. "1400 years and you don't have enough restraint to not set me on fire?"
"1400 years and I've never been this aroused," I explained.
Regina re-clasped my bra and I sighed in disappointment. "That's enough danger for one day," she said, and got off the bed. She was right, though. I could've hurt her. This isn't something I should be taking lightly.
"Do you want to go eat breakfast or shower first?" I watched her move around the room and open my closet. She reached in and brought out a bathrobe.
"I need to get the smell of mindblowing sex off of me," she teased.
"All right, well, when you're out we can eat," I watched her disappear into the bathroom. She left the door open, the sexy minx.
I watched, fascinated, as Regina let the negligeé fall to the floor. She kept her back turned and I drank in the sight of her bare ass through the doorway. She opened the shower door and turned on the water, then stepped in. She left the shower door open as well, and I sat back and enjoyed the show.
She deliberately didn't look at me, and the more I watched the more aroused I got. Eventually I pulled my skirt up, layed down on my belly facing Regina, and slipped my panties down on my thighs. I slid one finger down to rub my wet clit in slow circles while I watched the soapy water run down her perfect breasts. I couldn't handle her. She looked over at me and winked. My shaky breathing was dangerously loud. I reached to the bedside table and found a suitable toy to work myself over with while she continued to ease me. I slid it deep inside me and turned it on and let the vibrations stroke my arousal further. By the time she was rinsing off the last of her conditioner I was so close I was trembling, but unable to get myself to finish. I gave up, and cleaned the toy off then set it back in the nightstand.
"I could feel you watching me the whole time," she teased, and opened my closet doors. "Mind if I wear something of yours?"
"Y-yes!" Then I shook my head. "I- I mean no! I don't mind. God, yes, pull out anything you want."
She smiled mischievously and pulled out a tight red dress, a black faux fur coat, and a pair of black ankle boots.
"I'm surprised I fit into all this. We're the same shoe size," she laughed and I enjoyed the sight.
"You wear it better than me," I said honestly, and she rolled her eyes at me.
"Let's go eat breakfast, Little Miss Horny," I followed Regina down the stairs.
Henry had already made himself a plate when we got back. "Do you have juice?" He asked me.
"Yeah, what kind?" I opened the fridge door. "Orange, apple, cranberry, mango… I think that's all I've got that isn't something specifically for my diet."
"Orange is fine," Regina rolled her eyes at me. I poured him a glass and set it in front of him, smoothed down his hair affectionately, then sat down.
I picked up my camera and set it on the table in front of me. "I gotta record," I explained. "You want me to pretend you guys aren't here? And, Regina, who should I say I'm going with?"
"Don't pretend we aren't here," she smiled mischievously at me. "And… you're going with your girlfriend and her son."
I smiled wide. "Hey, guys it's me, your fav youtuber from Maine! I have gotten on today to tell you all that I am going on a trip! Yes, I am gonna be spending the weekend in New York City with my amazing girlfriend, Regina, and her awesome son, Henry!" I turned the camera around and pointed the camera at Henry. "Meet Henry! And, meet… Regina!" Regina smiled shyly at the camera.
"This Regina, and everyone, isn't she just the most beautiful thing you all have ever seen?" I turned the camera back around and brought us both, selfie style, into the frame. "She is just the most beautiful thing in the world."
"Maddie, hush!" Regina said, embarrassed, and pushed me away.
I rolled my eyes playfully for the camera. "I am taking her on a well deserved vacation to see some city lights and of course we're bringing Henry along for the ride. I love them both so much and can't wait to treat them. We've gotta get our breakfast eaten then get on the plane, so I'll be posting updates as we go along, and when we get on the plane I'll do an Instagram Live! Make sure to give that like button some love for luck on our plane trip, subscribe to join the family, and comment below: where should I take my beautiful girl next month? I'll pick the best ones later and I'll post a poll for you guys to vote on. No limits, you guys, dream big, I'll do anything for this girl, love you guys so much, I'll keep you posted, see you next time, be kind everybody!" I stopped recording and hooked it up to my laptop for editing while I finished my lunch and posted it.
We walked to their house for them to get their bags while I waited for Ethan to show up with the limousine. When we got back, the car was waiting for us.
"A limo?" Regina asked dryly. "Are you kidding me?"
"I'm not leaving my BMW in an airport parking lot all weekend," I explained. "This is Ethan." I waved dismissively at the driver.
"Really?" Ethan rolled his eyes at me. "You're not still holding a grudge?"
"Sweet!" Henry cried, and scrambled through the door. "A limo!"
"Wait- you're bringing a kid?" Ethan's jaw dropped.
"Yes. That was Henry," The kid who was diving into the candy jar as we spoke. "And this is my girlfriend, Regina." I wound my arm around her waist, pulled her tightly to my side, and studied Ethan's sour expression.
"I- did not realize you were bringing people,"
"Well, I am. I thought I'd take Regina and her son to see some city lights," I shrugged. "You'll drive us to the airport, then we'll have the car shipped to the city. I have a plane ticket for you, you'll fly."
"A ticket?" Ethan's eyebrows drew together. "Usually we fly together."
"Don't worry, it's first class," I helped Regina into the backseat and kissed her cheek before I straightened back to face Ethan. "And if you treat Regina anything less than flawlessly you'll be out of a job, and you know the connections I have within your company so I suggest you treat her like royalty if you don't want me to make your life a living hell."
"Understood, Miss Cambridge," I slid into the back and Ethan closed the door behind me.
"So, Henry, Xbox is right there, but I've also got Netflix. There are bluetooth headphones you can use so you don't give your mother a headache," I affectionately pet his hair then turned to the beautiful mother, who was looking at her phone.
"80 million subscribers? Jesus, your video's already got a hundred thousand likes!" Regina scrolled through the feed.
"It seems my followers like you," I kissed her cheek.
She snuggled into my side. "I'm still tired from last night," she mumbled.
"Well, then sleep," I stroked her hair. "You can sleep on the plane too."
While Regina slept at my side I went on instagram and went live.
"Hey guys," I whispered in excitement. "I am currently in the limo ride to the airport. Regina here," I angled the camera to show her with her head on my shoulder, "Is super tired from having to wake up so early, so she's asleep and Henry is playing video games. When we get to LaGuardia they're gonna be hungry so I'm gonna put out a poll. Winning restaurant is where I take them. And for every like I get on this, is how much I am gonna spend on this vacation. More to follow, love you guys!" I watched the comments roll in, most full of love for me and my beautiful girl, but some…
LittleLarissa505: So, what, you're dating a 40 year old now?
EatingTacos22: "Most beautiful thing in the world"... more like "Most aged thing in the world"!
MaddyCatzzz: Normally when you're rich you date someone younger than you, you got it backwards!
I sighed, and kissed Regina's forehead. It didn't matter what they said. Regina was my everything. I put my phone away and played with her hair, twisting it into intricate braids that I piled on top of her head. When I finished my work, I took a picture, and posted it on my Instagram page.
"Did you know I was tender headed or are you just really careful?" Regina mumbled groggily.
"I'm just being careful," I undid the braids gently and let it fall to her shoulders.
"Are we almost there?" Regina sat up and stretched.
"Ethan?" I called to the front. "Can you get me an ETA?"
"When I find a place to stop," He answered. "A minute or so."
"All right, darling, there you go," I put my heels back on, and stretched.
I caught Ethan staring at me in the rear view mirror. If he wanted to be jealous, he could be jealous. The car slowed to a stop and Ethan opened the door. I stepped out, offered my hand to Regina to help her out, and stood waiting to head to the plane.
"Right over there," Ethan gestured to where we needed to go, and I recognized my plane parked and waiting for us. "We'll have your bags in just a few moments."
"Thank you, Ethan," I took Regina's hand and we walked to the staircase leading to my private plane.
"Wait- what?" Regina's eyes bugged out.
"I own a private plane of my own," I shrugged. "Might as well use it."
Regina groaned in exasperation. "Maddie…"
"Hey, would you rather me spend money on airline tickets when we can just use the plane I already own?" I smiled at her mischievously. "Come on, let me spoil you. I promise I didn't buy it recently, I've had it for a couple of years."
She sighed. "All right."
"Wait," Henry looked up, shocked. "It's just us on the plane? It's your plane?"
"Yes," I laughed. "Wanna check it out?"
Henry ran up the steps and I brought Regina along. "We've got some seats here, a couple small tables, and there's a tv there. I'm pretty sure we have Netflix but if not we have a Switch. There's a bathroom over there, and over there is a microwave and a minifridge in case we get hungry," Henry got to work turning on the tv and I tugged Regina to the back. "Over here we've got a hot tub if you wanna soak, and a small bedroom, in case you're still tired."
"Oh, wow," she opened the door with the hot tub. "I should have brought a swimsuit."
"Well, let's see," I walked in and opened a cabinet on the wall. It had 5 bikini sets in there. "Pick your favorite, they're all adjustable."
She looked in the cupboard and picked out a royal blue set. She looked down at the set and stared for a moment and sighed. I set my hand on her back lightly. "What's wrong?"
"I'm not going to be slutty all weekend," Regina looked me in the eyes and I saw a hint of the anger in her eyes that was usually reserved for Mary Margaret. "This trip is great, but I'm not going to be a toy as a way of thanking you."
Shit. I didn't think about that. I was such an idiot.. Of course that's what she was thinking. "No, Regina, that's not what this is at all. This was meant to be fun and hopefully a bit romantic," I turned her to face me and looked into her eyes. "I'm not gonna lie, I want you. You won't believe how badly I want to recreate last night. But this isn't all a big elaborate plan to get you to open your legs. I love you and I don't care if we don't have sex during our trip. In fact, screw this bikini," I threw it across the room. "Actually, no, I actually really like it and I'm probably gonna take it home with me to wear at home when I use my hot tub."
Regina laughed as I crossed the room to grab it. "We can go watch tv if you want. I can show you how to play Fortnite. Or we can just sit and talk, whatever you want."
"I actually really do wanna go into the tub, I just was making sure I wasn't your toy on this trip," she took the bikini from me. "I'm gonna go get changed."
I smiled, wondering how I was going to make it up to her later, then took a blush pink bikini off the rack and quickly put it on. When Regina got back I was still hanging my dress back up, and I took her clothes to hang up while she got comfortable in the tub. I couldn't help it, I snuck a peek at her body in the bikini and was very happy with what I saw. The hot tub was small but still I tried to sit as far away from her as possible, to make her comfortable. I didn't want her thinking I was trying to use her body, and definitely didn't want her seeing how badly I wanted her.
"Maddie, you seem to be trying to get as far away from me as possible," Regina said softly.
"Sorry, I just… I don't want to make you uncomfortable," I explained, trying to look at her eyes and not those beautiful breasts that were barely contained by the bikini top.
"You can come closer," she encouraged. I measured the distance with my eyes. How close could I get without being too eager? I shifted over and cut the distance in half.
Regina sighed, rolled her eyes, then closed the distance till our thighs were touching, and she laid her head on my shoulder. "Better," she mumbled, and slung her right arm around my waist.
I tried to stay very still. I was so distracted by the feeling of her skin pressing against mine that I couldn't relax and melt into her like I normally did. I wanted her to feel safe and comfortable and loved, and I couldn't do that if I was humping her in the hot tub.
"What's wrong?" Regina looked at me and touched my face. "You're stiff as a board."
"I'm just trying and failing to make you feel like you're not a toy without being super cold and detached," I sighed.
Regina paused thoughtfully, brushing her thumb across my chin. "Can't you try to relax?"
"I can try but I don't know what is okay and what isn't," I carefully wrapped my arms around her.
"That's fine," she snuggled into my chest. I relaxed and let them wrap a little tighter around her.
But soon, I became very aware of her cheek pressed against my cleavage. My heart gradually started to pick up speed, until it was thumping against her cheek. I shifted uncomfortably, trying to relieve some of the pressure building up between my legs.
"Stop stressing yourself out," Regina mumbled. She reached out to press a light kiss to my skin and I couldn't do it. I stood up.
"Where are you going?"
I got out of the tub and yanked a towel off the rack and started to dry myself off, trying to catch my breath. "I'm sorry, I need to put clothes on." I grabbed my clothes out of the cabinet and locked myself in the bathroom and got dressed.
I took a few more deep breaths, then walked out of the bathroom and went into the hallway. Regina wasn't in the room with the hot tub, or sitting in the seats where Henry was. I checked the bedroom, and found her sitting on the edge of the bed, legs crossed, still in that royal blue bikini, and looking at me expectantly.
"I'm sorry for that," I sighed, walked forward, and kneeled down at her feet, resting my crossed arms on her knees. "I'm just really, really attracted to you right now and can't exactly concentrate."
"I'm sorry I accused you," she leaned forward till our noses touched.
"You don't ever have to be sorry," I whispered. "Just know above everything else that I love you. So very much."
"I know," she answered, and pulled me up by my shoulders onto the bed.
I crawled on top of her and trailed light kisses from her temple to her jaw. "I adore you, Regina. I don't want you to feel used. I want you to feel safe and loved, because you are," I ran my hands from her thighs up to her neck.
"Four months, I shouldn't be worrying. And I won't anymore," she whispered. "I can't keep holding my breath waiting for things to go wrong. I have to be all in."
"At the same time, you can be as reserved, it doesn't bother me." It did, but I didn't want her to rush.
"I love you," she said quietly, locking eyes with me.
For a moment, I just sat. Shocked. Then I pulled her into my arms and covered her face in kisses, telling her I loved her between each kiss.
"How much longer till we land?" Regina asked once we calmed down.
"Not very long. 30 minutes or so? I was hoping to grab a snack, I'm very hungry," I stood up and pulled her with me. "Should I come back with something for you?"
"Yeah," she kissed me. "Whatever you make, I'll eat off of. Hurry back."
I put some popcorn in the microwave and waited. I pulled some sodas out for the two of us and went back to the bedroom. Regina was dressed now, and scrolling through something on her phone.
"Popcorn," I presented to her my haul.
"Thanks, sweetie," she grabbed a handful and I got comfy on the bed.
"Want me to put on a movie?"
"No," she snuggled into my side. "I'm sure you are due for a video update anyhow."
"You're right!" I opened up my Instagram and went live.
"Hello everyone! We're about to land at LaGuardia, just in time for dinner! I see you guys have picked a restaurant. Per Se, it seems. I'll be posting pics of our night out! I'm gonna give you a quick tour of my private plane!" I brought the phone from room to room, then brought it back to where Regina sat and signed off, just in time for the pilot's warning that we were about to land.
When we had finally gotten off the plane, the car was waiting for us. "So, are you ready to see my place?"
"Definitely!" Henry cried from his seat in the car.
"I'm curious, yes," Regina smiled at me.
"Ethan?" I lifted the privacy screen.
"Yes, Miss Cambridge?"
"Can we go straight home, please? I want to get unpacked before we go to dinner," I nuzzled Regina's neck and quickly kissed the warm skin there.
"Of course," He replied, and I slid back up the privacy screen.
"You don't seem like the type to have everyone call you Miss Cambridge," Regina commented.
"He's the guy I told you about. The one who's married. Professionalism is good for us," I shrugged.
"Do I need to be worried?" Regina teased, but I could see a possessive glint in her eyes.
"God, no," I pulled her close. "Never." I brought my mouth to her ear and whispered, "But if you'd like, when we get home I can take you to my bed and prove it."
She hummed. "I don't know. Maybe," I ran my tongue along the shell of her ear.
When I finally opened the door to my penthouse, I was almost shaking with excitement. "Henry, there's a guest room for you. Little recording studio for me. Kitchen is on the right, the bathroom behind it, the living room over there, we'll leave to get dinner in an hour and a half."
"Cool!" Henry walked around.
"Henry, I'm gonna go get your mother unpacked. Get unpacked and make yourself at home," I ruffled his hair and led Regina by the hand to the bedroom.
I shut the door and took Regina tightly in my arms.
"We should be getting ready for dinner," she said around my lips.
I sighed, and concentrated on taking my arms off her. "Right." I crossed the room to the closet, and swung the door open. I still had some of my wardrobe in here. Which dress would Regina like the best? Maybe the pink one…
"You're not upset, are you?" Regina's arms wrapped around my waist and she rested her cheek on my shoulder.
"About what? Pink?" I held up the blush pink dress. "Or rose gold?" I held up the other.
"Rose gold," I put the pink one back. "And about me not having sex with you when you're very clearly excited."
"I'm not mad," I answered, and turned around, gave her a quick kiss, then squatted to look at shoes. I decided on black stiletto heels with straps that wrapped around my feet and ankle.
"You might not be mad, but are you upset?" She pressed, taking a seat on the edge of the bed.
"Not with you," I muttered. I walked to my jewelry boxes and picked out an onyx necklace and matching earrings.
Regina sighed behind me. "You don't have to beat yourself up. It's no big deal."
"I know," I tried to make my tone light as I picked new panties that weren't completely soaked.
"Maddie, look at me," I couldn't meet her eyes. "Look at me."
I slowly slid my eyes up to meet her gorgeous pools of copper. "Yes?" My answer was barely more than an ashamed whisper.
"I love you," she whispered back.
My anxiety melted and a big grin spread across my face. "I love you too," I said with a little more volume. "And I'm going to be good, I promise. For now, let's just enjoy New York."
"I'd like that," she grinned.
