Leaving the old man behind and back on the streets, with a somewhat heavy metal egg in his hands the same size as his right fist, Ashan began looking around for the exact shop he was meant to watch out for named " Priceless Things".

Turning around in a circle, with a clear look of confusion on his face, seconds away from coming to the full conclusion that he was lost when he suddenly turned around and saw a small signboard with the exact words he was looking for on it,

Surprised to see a small shop in the middle of nowhere with no one but what seemed to be a sleeping woman sitting right in the middle of the stall, with her head on the empty counter in front of her as she seemed to be a thousand miles away,

"Eeerrrm….hello," whispered Ashan, standing right in front of her, as he wondered whether waking her up was the right decision to make and yet, unwilling to continue standing outside as time passes and the night slowly got darker,

"Hellooo.." He yelled in a louder voice going as far as to knock his knuckles on the counter where the woman whose hair seemed to be pointing everywhere had placed her head,

Jerking awake with what seemed to be alarm than surprise, as she quickly wiped the drool dripping down from her lips with the helm of her oversized clothes before turning her attention at Ashan, noticing the worried and slightly irritated expression that kept on popping up on his face, as Ashan looked around noticing more stalls like the one he was standing in front of, having the same shady and run-down look to them,

"What can I do for you boy?" she asked with a big smirk on her face, showing a hint of some brown teeth which made Ashen cringe a little more, unable to hide his anxiousness since the only reason he was still standing there was the fact that he had heard from some students that they had been able to get the powerful magic wand he was looking from, from the shop he was currently standing in front of,

Unable to hide her excitement as she slightly rubbed both her hands together the moment she caught sight of the uniform of the teenage boy that was standing in front of her,

"What magic item would you like to purchase?" She went ahead to ask before drawing her chair towards him before bringing out a small magic ball from underneath her sleeves, fiddling with it until it slowly began to emit a soft blue light,

"What's that?" Was the only reply she got back as Ashan, warily stared at the ball in her hand, knowing enough to know that it was magical equipment even if he wasn't skilled or knowledgable enough to know what it was for,

"Oh, a truth ball. It helps to wade off thieves and unserious customers who are usually interested in everything else but buying the goods we sell," she patiently explained as she placed the ball in the open, right in the centre of the counter trying her best to put Ashen's mind at rest,

"I'm in a hurry, but I'm here for the "Gold wand," he said, sure of the name while recalling it from his memory of eavesdropping on a few seniors at the cafeteria as they discussed how powerful the wand was,

"Oh…," exclaimed the woman with an exaggerated tone before suddenly getting on her feet and gesturing towards Ashan to follow after her,

A little confused but confident in the information he had, he did as she asked, following her to what seemed like a bigger store right next to the one he stood in front of,

He had barely entered after her when he caught sight of a lot of items housed carefully on the shelves of the store he was in, surprised to discover that most of them were magical objects and even more alarmed and anxious to see more people and it didn't help that they were three men of various sizes,

With big bushy beards, visible scars and tattoos all over their arms, they stood beside the walls, staring right at Ashan without taking their eyes off him which didn't help Ashen feel any safer as he halted right in the middle of the stall, already backing out in his mind until he heard the woman speak,

"It's fine, they are also customers and they're waiting for their package," she said going as far as to grasp his wrist, pulling him inside along with her until they got in front of a man sitting in deep thought, wearing huge glasses while actively writing in a book on top of the table he was sitting in front of,

"What's he here for?" The man immediately asked, clearly unhappy to be disturbed the moment he caught sight of Ashan standing in front of him, clearly shaking in his boots,

"Deon, be nice. He's here for the gold wand," she said moving closer to him as she spoke, only for him to respond right back just as she arrived in front of him along with Ashan, holding the book on the table in front of him closer to his face,

"We're out. You're going to have to come back tomorrow," he replied with a straight face, looking right at Ashan when he spoke before turning to speak to the woman standing beside him,

"And you should know this Hera," he continued looking up at her as he pushed his glasses down his face,

"Well, he seemed jumpy and I wanted him to see the place," she replied with a shrug before turning back to look at Ashan, surprised to see him suddenly step closer to where Deon was sitting,

"How much is it exactly?" Ashen quickly asked with curiosity, the moment he felt they were about to usher him away,
