As if a bunch of rowdy cats had met a lion on a hunt, the two boys kept running faster and faster, wishing they could grow wings instead to take them away from their plight.
The meatier one amongst the two couldn't keep up anymore and shouted while panting,

The lankier one did stop at last, but not without landing a punch over the other's head as he screamed,

As Joey looked at his friend, Alex sinking deeper into despair, he reached out his hands to try comforting him as he spoke,
"N-No, she wouldn't have remembered us. We ran away so fast after all. And, i-it wasn't Carene who came there? Why?"
Alex swatted away Joey's arm and screamed back in anger,
"That's what I wanna know! Fool! I entrusted you with one little task, and you couldn't even get that done properly?!"
Joey looked at his buddy helplessly as he replied,
"H-How was I supposed to know that my Sister's friend would make a mistake??"
Alex began to laugh despairingly as he began to speak slowly,
"Aha... hahaahahaha... we are screwed. Royally screwed this time. You fatty, you don't know anything! T-That chick is the reason why our group got nearly disbanded! Not to mention that... that scary President is also guarding her. Did you forget what happened to Brian?"
Joey began to panic at last as he hurriedly asked,
"S-So what are going to do now? Besides those three cum dumps, we ain't got anything left? Do we have to fuck those bitches endlessly?! I-I hate their sloppy cum-drenched pussies! I want someone clean! Someone fresh! Someone cute! Someone that's exclusively mine!!"
Alex looked at his crazy friend before he shook his head in defeat and spoke,

As Alex began to walk away gloomily, Joey screamed and called out to his friend,

I couldn't gather my courage to go back to Lara's room for at least an hour before I finally peeked inside to confirm her state.
Thankfully, she was deeply asleep.
That's good. I don't know what I would have done if she was still awake. What if she... remembered what we did back then...?

And even if she did, then it was just a dream!

Quickly picking up the call, I called out,
"Hello, hello? Sis Lin? It's Sis Lin, right?"

Especially after everything we did yesterday... I-I mean, what I learned yesterday...
"Oh, yes. Are you still at the Hospital, Sis Lin?"

Without being able to reply, the call was hung up from the other side.

And, that resulted in me wasting another hour or so, going back and forth between my room and hers to check her state.
Why didn't I go in directly? How would I be able to explain why she was in her underwear while I was next to her?
I've already got a lot of troublesome issues in my life, and I could make do without another one being added to the mix.
AL last, when I saw that she had worn her sleepwear again, I knocked on the door to her room until I heard her speak.
"C-Come in..."
While carrying the mildly warm chicken soup along with a wheat porridge, I strode into her room and smiled at her as I spoke to her,
"Here! I made something for you to eat. Eat up while it's still hot. Or, do you want me to feed you~?"
Lara had been shyly dodging my gaze since I walked in, making me nervous if she remembered something. Still, gotta keep my act straight. She must not smell out any guilty feelings from me!
"No... just leave them there and go."
Was it just me or did she sound somewhat down? Oh, well... as long as she isn't blaming or cursing me anymore.
I pushed my phone's screen to her and opened up my contact id to her as I spoke to her,
"Well, here. This my phone's contact ID. Call me if you need something. Should I note it somewhere for you?"
Lara again refused to look directly at me as she muttered,
"N-No need... I saved it. Now go."
Well, expecting anything else from her is just a fool's dream. Knowing that I went back to my room after checking her temperature once, which she surprisingly cooperated with.
Maybe that's the effect of her fever. She'll be back to normal soon.
Now, with Lara's situation under control... it's time for my date preparations!
What should I wear today? Something cute? Or a tomboy style? Maybe something bold and flashy?
Aaahh! So many options... but, won't Celesta notice me suddenly dressing up?
Then... I should just dress like usual. It's the heart that counts on dates after all! R-Right?
