Chapter 116 - Date and Drive

Everyone, I think that something strange happened while I was away.
To be precise, the evil dragon is acting tamer than before, as if it has been substituted with another one.
Even when I dropped by to ask her if something doesn't feels right, or went there to take her temperature... or asked about what she wanted to have as an evening meal, Lara acted like a normal person would.
She didn't lash out at me, and certainly didn't accuse me of rape or something. Though she still refused to meet eyes with me, but everything else was just too good to be true.
It was so shocking that I almost began to question the three great questions of life.
Thankfully, my nervousness didn't last long as Sis Lin kept texting me with casual things, and I responded to her in pleasure.
Aaahh, what a warm and fluffy feeling this is~! Isn't this how it feels like to date someone?
I'm so lucky nowadays, completely unlike how it used to be before I arrived here. And, I owe it all to Celesta and Isla. Well, Jorah too in some meanings.

The task of nursing the evil dragon was completed when Celesta arrived with Jorah in tow and I explained the whole thing to her.
After thanking me repeatedly, the two worried sisters went over to Lara's room to talk to her.
Letting them have their siblings time together, I decided to end my involvement there after delivering the evening meal to Lara, which she accepted silently.
Now... all done with everything else! Let's go for the date already~~!!
But, Celesta must not find out about it...
Sneakily, I picked some of my cleaner and trendy clothes and went out of the house, taking refuge in the nearby coffee joint to pass the time until Sis Lin arrives here.
I continued my research on easy and tasty meal recipes and watched several videos on the variations and localizations of the dishes.
Phew, a lot to learn here. But, it's a practical study so it won't make sense not to practice making these.
Let's buy the ingredients and wake up at night to try my hands on these!
Hopefully they won't turn out to be a disaster...

Sis Lin came when there were ten minutes left before seven in the evening. Thankfully, she looked so lovely dressed up in her pink outfit that she made me want to eat her up!
"Carene! Thank god that you are still here. I was worried if you went back home."
"How can that be? My dear Sis Lin asked me to come, so I would come for sure! Ditching the date is no good after all."
Sis Lin giggled with a big smile as she sat down next to me and spoke,
"That's great. I'm glad to have some time off like this. Phew... it was too hectic at work today. It makes me glad to have someone to share my troubles with."
I do too! I am so glad to have someone cute like Sis Lin pampering me everyday.
"I'm glad as well, Sis Lin. Y-You look very pretty today too."
Ohhh!! I said it! And so smoothly too!
Sis Lin's face turned a bit more red as she shyly spoke,
"Oh, you look very nice too, my Carene. How about we leave for the drive after some tea?"
"Yeah, sure. I would love that too. I have been gulping down too much coffee recently."
Seeing a beauty like Sis Lin calmly sipping tea like that greatly relived my stress levels, making me want to stare at her figure more and more.
"Um, Carene? I was wondering about something. Have you planned your choice of career after your graduation studies?"
Work? Ah, if I have to, then...
"Well, I haven't thought much about it, but I think I like cooking and taking care of others. So, maybe a housewife?"
Sis Lin looked greatly shocked at my words as she paused suddenly and asked,
"E-Ehh?!! But, why?!"
Was it that shocking? I don't think it would be all that bad though.
"I-I mean, staying at home to cook for my loved ones, helping to take care of the household duties and welcoming my family members back home... seeing them grow up slowly and seeing their smiles everyday... wouldn't that be a very nice future?"
As I spoke my true thoughts, I was going to mention that I might try some odd jobs online while staying at home, but Sis Lin just stared at me like before, until some tears fell down her face.
W-What?! Why is she crying all of a sudden?? I-I didn't mean to make her cry!
As I stood up in panic, Sis Lin wiped the tears away and looked at me affectionately with a smile as she spoke,
"No... don't worry. These tears, they are not of sadness. To think that... you were so serious about our future..."
I began to wonder if I said something strange there, but Sis Lin shook her hands to not let me worry anymore.
Afterwards, there was something very different about her smile and the way that she looked at me. I didn't know exactly what that was, but something had definitely changes since before.
Having decided to leave after we finished the refreshments, the two of us had a chat over tea, full of teasing and laughter before we paid the bill and made our way towards Sis Lin's car.
"Now, Carene. We would try a little more crowded place than yesterday. Still, it should be safer than anywhere else. Are you ready?"
Ehh?! W-We are actually training even now?? But, what about our date time together..?
As if being able to read my inner thoughts, Sis Lin grinned naughtily as she leaned closer to me and whispered into my ears,
"And then, we could have some 'fun' as well~?"
Yup, yup. This is how it should be!
Sis Lin, I promise to show a good performance tonight! Let's drive all the way to the stars and the moon!

Sis Lin brought us to some neighborhood this time. The streets weren't choked with traffic, but there were occasionally cars passing by from time to time.
As we had switched seats already, I began to feel very nervous whenever we came across another vehicle, making me hit the brakes or reducing the speed.
Another thing I noticed was that Sis Lin was becoming unresponsive sometimes, with her eyes shutting close.
Is Sis Lin feeling sleepy? Looks like it was a tiring day for her. And here I am, making her do all this for me.
Since the time was nearly eight o'clock, I decided not to trouble Sis Lin any further and gathered my courage, after which I entered the location of Sis Lin's house and chose a low traffic route to get there.
Alright. I-I can do it! Sis Lin, you can rest for now.
Hitting the accelerator, I began to follow the map directions and slowly drove towards our destination.
Surprisingly, once I got the hang of things, driving became a breeze. Although the speed was very slow, but I wasn't afraid of driving ahead anymore. And if I encountered a troubling situation, I just hit the brakes and slowly moved on.
Just like that, time went by and I finally reached our destination safely.
Wooahh!! See, I can do it if I try!
Oh, yeah! Sis Lin would be so proud of me when she finds out!
Getting out of the car, I gently shook Sis Lin's shoulders until her eyes fluttered awake.
"Sis Lin? We are home already. Here, take my hand."
Sis Lin looked around in confusion while rubbing her eyes, as she took a yawn lazily and asked,
"Carene... how did we... get here..?"
Is she still asleep. Let's discuss the rest inside her house then.
Pulling her out of the car, I took her belongings from inside and helped her walk to the front door.
After unlocking it, I helped support Sis Lin to the nearest sofa and carefully laid her down.
Fuuuh... that was tiring. I forgot about my own exhaustion from before, but now it's hitting like nothing else did.
Still, Sis Lin definitely didn't eat anything yet. Who knows if she even skipped her meals this afternoon.
Hmmm, I guess I can try making dinner. It shouldn't taste too bad. Hopefully, Sis Lin would like it.
Having a chance to test my newly learned skills, I looked around her kitchen to find the ingredients, but found many things missing or running out.
I guess that Sis Lin often eats out at nights. No good. It can't go on like this!
Sis Lin... she is too busy at work, not to mention helping me learn too. Where would she find the time to cook above all of these?
If Sis Lin can go so far for me, then... it's my turn to do something for her!
From now on, I will be the one to cook her meals. It's two times a day anyways, so it won't be that big of a deal.
Okay, now that it's decided... I should go out to buy those ingredients.

Thankfully, I saved up a lot of money, so the expenses weren't a big deal.
Bringing the bag of stuff into the Kitchen, I decided to cook something nourishing for Sis Lin.
Although I don't remember her choice of food, but everyone likes chicken, right?!
I bought some soft and nice bread too, that would go along with the thick chicken gravy.
And a chilling dish of salad ingredients like cucumber and curd. They say that it's very tasty and helps with digestion.
Although it isn't much, but... I will do my best!

As I almost finished preparing the food and went to fetch the dishes, I heard some footsteps behind me, making me turn around to look.
"Ah, you woke up, Sis Lin? Great timing. The dinner is ready. Wash your hands and be ready to eat."
Sis Lin didn't respond to my words, making me look at her in worry.
She then approached me with slow steps while looking at me with a strange gaze.
As my face was stained with sweat, I didn't want to let Sis Lin seeing me in such a state and wanted to wash my face at least. But, with the way she was coming towards me, I couldn't move from there.
"Am I... dreaming..?"
"Eh..?"
Hearing Sis Lin utter that, I could only tilt my head in confusion and reply,
"But, it's not a dream. See? I'm right here~!"
As I replied to her smilingly, Sis Lin's eyes began to moisten again. I was so lost in her eyes that I didn't know when she approached me and kissed me all of a sudden!
Unlike what I thought, it wasn't a deep kiss, but a long but light kiss. Sis Lin's body was trembling for some reason, and she had hugged me very tightly for some reason.
A-Ahem! Our breasts... they were being mashed together too... over the clothes, that is.
As I began to feel light-headed from the sensual kiss, Sis Lin parted her lips from mine and gently touched her forehead with mine, as she whispered,
"Thank you very much... C-Carene. Nobody... *sob*... did this for me before. I-I'm very... very thankful... *sniff*..."
Uh oh. She is somehow too emotional suddenly. Let's try calming her down and distracting her.
"Ah, S-Sis Lin, give me the keys to your house. I am going to make your breakfast while preparing your lunch box for the afternoon. I will also come in the evening to make dinner for you. From now on, don't skip meals or eat take outs. I'm... here for you."
Aaahhh! S-So embarrassing~!
How was I able to say all that?!
Noooo... I-I want to find a hole somewhere to hide...
Unable to meet her eyes anymore, I felt Sis Lin nodding silently while tightening our hug even more.
The food... it wouldn't go cold like this, right?

After a lot of back rubbings and soft words, Sis Lin calmed down at last and helped me carry the dishes to the dining table.
For some reason that I couldn't understand, Sis Lin's eyes kept on leaking tears while she ate. She was still grinning widely and praising the food, so I decided to let her be.
Hmm... I am getting the hang of driving already. I just need more practice getting better. Even if Sis Lin helps me on her days off, it should be enough for me.
Yeah, it's no good to keep pestering her like this. But, I will keep my promise.
Sis Lin, you are not alone anymore.
