Gerrik and the best father mug noticed a difference, the rock they met before had a white glow to it. Beside him was Milton the pencil scribbling diligently on a notebook.
"Hey Rock", the mug called out.
"Oh it's you two, nice seeing you again", the rock replied.
the rock was sitting on a book titled mun and the spaceman, the publisher was Tonko.
"What's the book for?", Gerrik asked.
"Ahh, just felt right", the rock responded.
"headed somewhere?", Milton asked Gerrik and the mug.
"Nope, mind if we join you?", Gerrik suggested.
So they followed the Rock to a quiet place, a brightly lit bar once written by another writer. The writer's name was Ernest and he wrote many many works, many more works than Milton the pencil and writing utensil.
Inside were ships inside bottles, fishing rods, naval photos, and a pool table that occupied the center of the room.
There were a few other objects and apparitions inside, a small tree, a paper with music notes, and a child with long black hair.
the rock lead them to a table for 5 near the inside of the room.
"What's different with you?", the mug asked.
"Who me?", the rock said.
"Who else? Mr. shiny white rock", the mug retorted.
"I was reading a few books and I suddenly got a glimpse of something. Of long stretches of darkness with spots of bright lights everywhere, I remember one other thing. I remember seeing a car. Suddenly I started glowing white!", the rock said.
"huh", Gerrik responded.
"The only thing that happened to us was meeting that transforming circle ball thing near that grassy area."
"Oh, Miss Adeneau. She's really nice", Milton interjected pausing from writing.
"You know her", the mug asked the pencil.
"A little", Milton admitted.
the rock asked Milton, "if you were to take a guess what object do you think she'll stay as?"
Milton responded, "I don't know. I still remember being a book for 2 weeks until you tried to -"
the rock cut in, "Alright, alright that was an honest mistake."
Then the mug brought up, "So Rock, who's the proprietor of your store?"
the rock responded, "he's gone now"
Milton and the mug seemed to go quiet.
Gerrik not knowing of the situation said, "My condolences..."
then they all burst out laughing.
"We're already dead." the mug said trying to hold back the coffee inside it's body.
"Gone as in traveled somewhere else", the rock added on.
Milton finished it off saying, "He's gone because he found his conclusion"
"Hey, I didn't know", Gerrik said defensively.
the rock responded, "The reason why we all quieted down is more respect for the other patrons. They're still looking for their conclusions and some get envious of others success.
some objects stay for a few days, others for much longer periods of time. The old man has been sailing forever trying to find his conclusion. A squid was it or a swordfish?"
Milton jumped in, "So what does that book have anything to do with it?"
the rock replied, "It was his parting gift, the store disappeared along with him. However he left behind this book, which I presume has something to do with me."
"Oh", Mr. Best said.
"Why do you sound so unenthusiastic", Gerrik asked the mug.
"I'm happy I'm happy", the mug said.
"Just thinking of somethings I was reminded by", the Best Father mug sat quietly on the table.
Milton offered to shelve the topic for another time and they all agreed. It was time to eat!
the rock had a plate of dirt, milton was given a dictionary of words, the mug refilled the coffee, and Gerrik received a taco sandwich bread with a round meat cylinder in the center. It was called a hot dog.
