"Hey Gerrik", the mug spoke to him while eating.
"Yeah?", Gerrik Forcheese responded finishing his hot dog.
"I've got something to do with Rock over here, you fine sticking with Milton?", the cup explained his inquiry.
"Yeah, sure", Gerrik was a bit surprised by the sudden seperation. However he and the mug technically weren't close, but he was still saddened at the thought.
"Hey Gerrik, we'll still have plenty of fun. Plus you'll see Mr. best soon, erm probably.", Milton tried to cheer him up.
"Milton", the Rock scolded. "Don't worry about it, I'll have this father's day mug back in no time.", the Rock reassured Gerrik.
Soon they all parted ways and Milton started to introduce Gerrik to the city. Past art museums, piles of dusty of objects, empty buildings and quite a few residences.
As they entered a few of Milton's friends houses, they were passing through a corridor. Above was a piece of white tape with the writing "100/100" and nothing else was written.
many dirt fingers and handprints smudged the white piece of tape, however the writing was still visible.
"What do you see Gerrik?", Milton asked looking upwards where Gerrik was staring.
"Just an old piece of tape", Gerrik responded. However to Gerrik, it was glowing a bright red again, just like the notebook Milton had.
"Hmmm... anything special about it", Milton asked.
"Not really, but I'll collect it just the same", Gerrik responded.
Milton and Gerrik visited a few shops and had a meal together. On the way, they saw a beatnik jalopy.
"Heyyy Milton", the driver said.
"What happened to your rickshaw", Milton responded.
"I traded it for this piece of scrap although it was missing a steering wheel."
Milton seemed distracted so Gerrik stepped in.
"Wow, I'm surprised you got it to work!", Gerrik exclaimed.
"Yeah, it was real busted", the driver responded.
"Hop in, I noticed Milton walking around and I can give you guys a lift. It's been so long since I've driven. I always wanted to chauffer passengers around, just like old times.", he said.
"Thanks for the offer, what do you think Milton?", Gerrik asked.
Milton was lost in thought.
"He does that from time to time, get in!", the beatnik offered.
Gerrik opened the door, noticing that the car had another reddish glow as well.
'Huh', he thought to himself.
'I wonder what this reddish glow means and why can I see it?', Gerrik pondered for a moment before being taken off guard by the sudden acceleration of the vehicle.
The car started to speed up and the streets were full of potholes, it didn't help that the driver was swerving and skidding back and forth as if the car was trying to run out from underneath him.
At this moment, Milton was jammed into his seat for dear life, as he suddenly realized where he was at!
"Ahhh", Milton exclaimed.
"Now now, don't be like that. Let's go for a spin Milton!", the driver said to his passengers.
Milton turned toward Gerrik, "you got in the car didn't you."
Milton sighed.
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?", Gerrik said innocently.
Milton accepted the situation, "I suggest you close your eyes."
Soon the car was doing donuts, drifting street corners and going up and down ramps and building rooftops. Even with Milton's advice of keeping his eyes closed Gerrik still had a strong sense of nausea and vertigo, the driver was truly a master of driving. However for the passengers the strong sense of car sickness made them feel tortured.
Soon the car stopped, Gerrik and Milton immediately got out of the car rolled around and lay down staring up at the dark sky.
"Is it over?" Gerrik asked Milton
"I think so", Milton responded.
Soon the smiling face of the old driver appeared in their view.
"So how was it? Just like an old driver?"
Milton cussed, "Old driver, more like hearst driver! $%@#, after last time I promised to never ride in a car driven by you last time. You're lucky I don't have hands otherwise I'd strangle you."
Gerrik was still dizzy lying on his back, his non-existant stomach felt like it was flipped upside down. However he had nothing to relieve himself. So he lay in pain on his back, his head spinning.
Soon a banner came into view. "I'll take over", it said.
"There's still some space at my bar they can rest to get over the after effects."
The banner shook from side to side as if shaking it's head.
"Let's get you two something to drink."
