The day was young and promising, inside the old mansion, stood a girl before the dresser mirror. She looked at her reflection in satisfaction.
She was wearing a white gown which fitted her perfectly, the baby bump was somewhat visible if one was too keen.
A smile graced Sam's lips. She couldn't believe that the day she had been dreaming of had finally come. Her hand found its way to her tummy and she rubbed it gently.
"Can't wait to officially be married to your dad, I want us to be together through this journey called life. We'll raise you together and show you the right path."She said, her voice low and full of happiness.
"I might not be the perfect mother,"She paused and a small sigh escaped from her lips,"However,I'll try and be perfect for your,baby."Her lips curved into a smile as she made promises to her unborn child.
The wooden mahogany door clicked open and her best friend Diana walked inside the room.
