The journey back to Diana's apartment was uneventful. Edward was focused on the road while Diana was deeply lost in her thoughts.
She was trying to figure out what her mother had in the basket for her.
No matter how hard she tried to forget about her mother's sickly sweet voice when she told her that she missed her so much.
There was a knot in her stomach which wasn't going away. She had a bad feeling about the whole thing.
She closed her eyes slightly and rubbed her itching eyelids. A sigh of frustrated sigh escaped her lips as she leaned her head on the car chair.
" Still thinking about the conversation you had with your mother?" Edward asked with a raised eyebrow. He turned his head briefly to look at Diana before shifting his eyes back to the road.
She nodded her head gently, her lips pressed into a thin line.
" Yeah. You know how annoying she can be sometimes." She said with a low voice.
