Claudius, on the other hand, needed some time to process what Augustine said also to make sure he did not misheard or misunderstood him since his majesty's suggestion sounded insane and which was not even a suggestion, in fact it was announcement because Augustine was not asking for his highness permission, he was just letting him know.
This is exactly why Claudius just kept staring at the king with narrowed eyes waiting for the latter to say that this is one of his lame jokes but Augustine looked so serious " You are not funny."
