"So children, I will call the names of the children and their room mates" one of our counsellor said and started reading names.. we found out that we 3 are in different rooms. we were sad at first but then we thought that we get to do the activities together. we said bye to each other and went to our rooms.
when I entered to my room, I found some high school girls staring at me, who minds by the way!!
"Hey, can i know your name?"
a boy who is obviously my age asked me.
"Hey, am emma. you?"
"Am mike"
"oh, are you staying in this room?" i asked him.
"No, they don't allow girls and boys together... suspicious people!!" he said and we both laughed.
"my friends are in other rooms, so am just alone" i told my feelings to him. he seemed to be a good person to be friends with.
"Don't worry, me too. i was actually on my way to ask the counsellor if I could use the old theater and make a play.
"OMG! can i join you? i love writing and directing. but don't have any experience , cuz my friends doesn't like film making or anything"
"Oh emma, then you can surely join me. i can be producer and associate. you can write and direct"
I was so pleased of mike. he's so kind. we both walked to the camp manager's office to get permission and she agreed without any questions. we are so happy.
on our way, now to the theater we met Ellie and paws. i introduced them to mike and mike to them.
"Guys. guess what. we're gonna arrange a play at the theater" i told them
"just you both?" paws asked.
"Am producing and associating. emma is writing and directing." mike said.
"Why haven't you called us emma?" Paws asked
i was speechless. i think we are gonna break our friendship.
"She said you guys are not interested" mike said.
"WHY? Are you bitching in back of us and that too to a stranger?"
"Hey, guys.. these emotion are understandable but unnecessary" mike says "emma and i just talked and we just had the same taste so--"
interrupting mike ,paws said bye in a hard voice and dragged ellie with her too.
"Have i humiliated your friendship?" mike asked
"of course not! they're just-- idk"
We both walked to theater, i still don't understand why paws behaved like that, so unnecessary.
