Pov. Oboro
Right now we are heading towards the facility to start the operation. With me in the car are Tora, Mio, Kaliya, Shiranui, and Qin Shi. The plan is to get inside with the intention to modify Shiranui some more. But me, master that is posing as my new subordinate, and Shiranui go to meet Sabato to discuss the modifications the rest of the girls are going to take out key locations. Tora is in charge of taking out security cameras, Mio will disable the differences, and Kaliya will cut off all communications. As the three of them do that they will be planting explosives all over the base. When that's taken care of, the rest of his people will storm the base.
"Identification please" said the guard at the front gate.
"Here you go and you better remember it because next time you ask for it you're dead" I said while I gave him my papers.
"S-sorry miss Oboro I didn't recognize you, I'm just following orders from the top to check everyone going in and out" he said.
"I'm sure you are but I doubt they'll care too much if I kill one little guard, after all it wouldn't be the first time."
"Y-you are right I'm sorry for holding you up, I will remember you next time."
"Good" I say to him before driving to the front entrance and getting off with everyone. We walk in and head to the front desk to ask for Sabato's location.
"Welcome miss Oboro, what would you like today?" Asked the person on the front desk.
"Where is Sabato?"
"He is in his lab working on Asagi right now."
"Good I need to do more modification on this old hag" I say as I grab Shiranui's tit.
"Please go right ahead and I hope you have a wonderful day."
As we go inside I start heading towards Sabato's lab. The other three head towards where they need to go. Entering Sabato's lab I see him standing next to a stasis pod with Asagi inside, standing next to him were Igawa Sakura and Yatsu Murasaki. But they looked different, they felt different due to Sabato's modifications. They felt like demons, Murasaki herself looked more like a demon then most demons did with her blue skin, horns, and wings.
"Ah Oboro, why have you come to visit me today? After all, I'm quite busy completing the work you gave me last time" said Sabato while he gestured towards Asagi.
"Hello Sabato, I have a deal for you you may find interesting," said Qin Shi.
Sabato narrowed his eyes as he looked at him and asked "Oboro who is this and what is he talking about?"
"This is my new master and if you're smart you will listen to what he is saying because Nomad's days are numbered."
He stayed silent as he looked at us "fine I will listen to what you'll say" he said while looking at Qin Shi.
"Then it's best not to try to make those two try and attack me," said Qin Shi. As soon as he said that Sakura and Murasaki put their weapons on Sabato's neck.
"What are you doing attacking them!" He shouted.
"We can't control our bodies master," said Murasaki.
"What's going on?" Said Sakura.
"For such a smart man you're very stupid to do what I just told you not to. But that doesn't matter what matters is the choice you make from now on."
"Fine then what is it you want?"
"Don't worry about my proposal, it will be beneficial for both of us if you choose correctly. What I want is for you to work for me or you can die."
"And what makes you think I'll betray Nomad for you."
"Well obviously so you won't die for one. And we both know you have no loyalty for Nomad as long as you can continue your research. If you are still on the fence then I'll throw this in for you to play with as long as you follow my guide lines so no accidents will happen."
He pulled out something that looked like some kind of fetus looking thing in a jar. Whatever it was, it got Sabato's attention for some reason.
"And what is that?"
"It's called a Cadou and it's a type of fungus that can infect a living being. What it can do to the host is give it different powers, strengthen the body in some cases, and even give it regenerative powers."
"Fascinating and if I work for you will you allow me to experiment with it?"
"Of course but you must know that like most things that can change the world, there is a very real danger when you experiment with them. Like for example nuclear radiation it changed the world but it did kill quite a bit of the people working on it before we started to really understand it. So you will have to follow some rules that I sit but don't worry about me holding you back with morals. Hell I'll even provide you with humans to experiment on the only condition is you experiment on those who I allow you to."
"Well you make it hard to refuse with this weapon at my neck so I accept."
"Good it's a deal then" he said as he extended his hand out for a hand shake. When Sabato was going to shake it he hesitated for a second for some reason but in the end he shaked it causing master to smile.
"Shiranui, would you go check on Asagi and make sure she's okay? Now then what to do about you two?" Qin Shi say's as both Murasaki and Sakura take their weapons from Sabato's neck.
"Don't worry about them, I'll handle them. Both of you get on your hands and knees to greet your new master" I said to them.
They both do and say "we great you master please treat us as your disposable onaholes" they both said at the same time.
"Please tell me you have a way to fix them," says Shiranui.
"Don't worry they'll be back to normal in a week or so," said Qin Shi.
"Thank you."
"Personally I think they're better this way," I said.
"Oboro we have secured all locations and are ready to begin" said Kaliya over the communication device.
"Good, master preparations are complete, we can begin the raid" I said.
"Well then let the fun begin" he says as he takes his phone out and pushes a big red button on the screen.
Pov. Alphonse
Well here we are a group composed of humans, demons, and beastmen ready to attack a Nomad base. Never thought I would do this but for the kind of money I'm being paid I guess it's not out of the question. But as soon as things go wrong I'm out of here.
As I wait for orders I look around and see the people I'll work with, some of them are mercenaries I've worked with in the past others I don't know and the subordinates of my new employer. Most seem to be getting their equipment ready like I am, others seem to be resting up to get ready for the fight. As for my employer's subordinates, they are talking amongst themselves until one of them goes in front of everyone to give the mission briefing.
"Hope everyone is ready for a fight because we will be attacking and taking over a very important Nomad facility" she says as a projection of the facility we will be attacking shows up behind her.
"This is what we will be targeting today, it is a Nomad facility that houses all of its most important experiments. We'll be attacking here, here, and here" she says as she points at different locations on the map.
"We already have some people on the inside to shut off their differences, communities, and video surveillance. As for the entire we will have explosions plated in the bases to open up the areas I showed you to attack. As for the personal, kill anyone that resists but capture anyone who surrenders make sure they remain alive. Also any prisoners that you find are to be released and brought to us. Are there any questions?" She says.
"Yes there were two more people that were with the mercenary group, a man and a woman. What happened to them?" Asked Henzo.
"Ah yes those two, unfortunately they tried to betray master even though he gave them plenty of warning before accepting the job so they had to be punished" she said as she clapped her hands. Causing two other girls to bring two steel boxes the size of two medium size suitcases up on stage, I don't know why but it started to smell something familiar.
Suddenly one of the oni stood up and put her hand on her sword.
"What is the meaning of this?" She asked.
"Nothing really just shows you that the master was not bluffing when he said it's best not to betray him."
As I focused more on the boxes I saw red liquid coming out of the sides, then I remembered that familiar smell. It's the smell of blood, I start hearing low broken voices asking for help.
"He-p me"
"I'm s-rry"
"Ple-s- st-p"
"S-v- me"
'They are still alive.'
"They were found trying to get in contact with Nomad, most likely trying to sell information about us to them. And so they had to be punished but don't worry if they survive until next week we will repair them for a fee of course."
I knew that guy so I wasn't two surprised about him trying to double cross us to get more money. As for the woman, she was a beauty that would use her body to get out of a tough situation but it looks like it didn't work this time.
"Well if there's no more questions then let's get going but first here's the teams you will be assigned to."
We get inside cars with our teams and form a convoy as we head towards the facility. As we get near it all of a sudden there's an explosion and the car's speed up ramming through the front gate. As soon as we get out of the car I shoot a guard with my shotgun as my brother sets one on fire with his magic and Hanzo cuts a few in half with his wind control. We made short work of the guard since they were confused and hurt because of the explosion.
Making our way through the building we killed anyone who resisted and restrained anyone who surrendered. We keep going until we find a room with a bunch of humans in some kind of container with parts of their body modified. Their arms or legs looked like that of demons, there were even kids.
"This is team three we have come across a room full of human experiments, please advise on what to do next" I said into the communication device.
"Copy that we will send a team to extract until then guard the room and see if you can get any information on what they are doing" they responded.
"Roger that" I said.
"Louis get on that computer and see if they have anything important on there, Hanzo looks through the papers to see if anything worth taking as I stay on look out" I said to them. Causing Louis to snort at me but still did what I asked of him as Hanzo starts to go through the paper's. Louis and I never had the best relationship even though we are brothers, in fact we were treated as outcast among most orcs. Mostly because I was never really interested in r*ping women as for my brother he wasn't someone that would want to die a glorious death in battle. That made us a minority among the orcs and so we never really got along with our own race.
"So what do you think about our new boss?" Asked Louis.
"He is efficient in the way he goes about things. The fact he was able to get people in here means he has some higher ups inside of Nomad that are loyal to him. The message he gave us was also brilliantly done" said Hanzo.
"And how was that brilliant?" I asked.
"He showed us that it doesn't matter if we are human, demon, man, or woman. He will do what he promised if given just cause. It was also smart to just show us the boxes not what's inside to get his point across and not make it too much. After all we are mercenaries so we have seen much worse but most of the time they are dead when we see it."
He's not wrong, I've seen people do worse but they are usually dead when I see it. So I guess it's still acceptable, after all he did warn them but they stayed. After waiting a while some women came to guard the room so we continued to work.
'It really looks like Nomad is going to end soon, good they've been a real pain in the ass lately.'
