Chapter 1 - Peace was Disrupted

The cold oxygen that set carefully on my tongue was chilling. The room I am sitting in is silent. The air was tense and thoughts reeked of stress. It was a familiar emotion that latched onto everybody's core memory, most can agree it was absolutely awful. The dozens of diverse students seated around me hoped to be constantly prosper. This present, doomed their future for the greatness or insignificance, it greatly reckoned on what they did in the past was worth it. Obviously, the majority wanted to meet one end over the other. This rough lined wooden pencil, I owned, was leisurely slipping out of the tip of my thumb.

"You may start the exam."

The feminine teacher said it in a tranquil tone, but it ringed noisily in everyone's ears. Pencils were vastly sketching on one's paper, quickly flipping through, so they could make into the time limit. I felt as if eyes were glaring at me. It made me feel small in this spaced out room. I silently started to be in a state of slight agitation.

To ignore my state, a flicker on the gray projection board shot open. It thunderingly presented a video clip of an anonymous person, in a matte suit, that honed his privileges.

"You do not need to know who I am, but I will tell you that a destructive force will strive upon humanity. Good luck."

The tension in the room was even higher, it was safe for a split second before an earthquake rocked the college building. Dark oak bookshelves hit the floor, and papers flowed out the room. A shrieking scream flied through everyone's head. I hit the rough texture ground, dodging by a strand of hair of the white marble ceiling tile that collided with the floor.

I felt a thick liquid dripping on my hand. Likewise, I quickly flicked it away, spreading the germ against the object around. Furthermore, I glanced at forward, noticing a female. Observing that she was a few years older than me, but could depict that she was the cause for the gloomy liquid.

I assumed it was blood caused from a blood clot, but it was a subdirectory violet color, that had a diffusion of kindred shades inside the content. This newly found discovery was interesting indeed, and could open up an innocent youngster's mind, but time was always out of our hands.

This goo, that the lady was dripping out of her saliva, was going erratically berserk. Ripping out her middle length hair that contained split ends, and were damaged—well, damaged more. She was chewing on her teeth that she has broken apart, and just acting like a feral animal, an animal per se.

Of course, I ran. Although I was weak, the adrenaline rush for survival overtook me and lasted for an outstretched period of time.

As I got to a safe distance, a metallic taste in my mouth started to appear.
